Hman's Epic Epi Adventure

I appreciate the kind words everyone,I was feeling like my progress was slowing but you all make me feel alittle better:thumbsup:

I think most of who do this have some level of bigarexia. I look at my photos and wish I had bigger arms, thicker and more rounder shoulders, and much bigger legs. It's what drives us to lift those heavy ass weights!! :lol: You have a very solid base to build upon hman. Lift big, eat big, rest big, and you'll be big. Guarantee it. :thumbsup:

I've definitely got it. I think it's mainly because I compare myself to the best of the best. I don't compare myself on an average basis. I pick the BIGGEST dude in the room, and compare myself with him.

I could definitely use some bigger arms!

Exactly! I'm comparing myself to those kind of dudes. Like that dude that's in the Animal ads. Those big 'ol veiny legs and massive chest, etc.

I guess we should be comparing by weight and height. I need to round up 100 guys that are 5'8" @ 170lbs and see how I match up.

Yeah that would be a fair match up, and comparing yourself to people on large amounts of sauce is just 2 diff catagories all together.
I sometimes feel like i look worse than people that actually look worse than me.

haha, doesn't just going to class sort of help? I suppose I could be asking myself that question, and its a no for me. I guess knowing what's out there, its hard to be too impressed with myself. I think it's an excellency complex. I'm usually around the top 2-3% physique x strength wise at MY gym, but because I know whats out there, I don't impressive myself. There are rare moments where I think I'm the shiz (in a healthy, non-arrogant way), but usually I'll think like this.

"I pressed 315lbs for 6, not bad, but if I could do this while having sharp abs, now THAT would be impressive"

Thomas and I are a part of a Carbs Anonymous Group, and then Thomas had to join a Testaholic Anonymous Group for almost pushing a machine over when a weight got stuck, now we'll have to start a Shrinkagaholic Anonymous Group.

That's how I am too. Never completely satisfied. But then again, if we were, how could we ever better ourselves?

My sister is always asking me why I'm always trying to get better and bigger or stronger. She says, "Why don't you just maintain? You're already big enough." Give me a break. Why the hell woud I go to the gym if I didn't get better with each workout? Only suckers maintain.

Funny my buddy just asked me about an hour ago if I train to maintain. I laughed in his face. I was like nah bro its all about growin!
 
When I decided I wanted to put some size on, and ever since I've been working out hard, people in my life say to me, "How come you want to get ripped?" And I'm like, "Uh, who DOESN'T want to be ripped?" I can't think of a good reason not to.

I need some in sight from everyone. the other day I did bi's and I got a real nice pump and the next day i woke up and my bis were hurting. Anyway i looked down at the and were they were hurt it was bruised the fukk up both side but one was way worse. Let me know if anyone has had this or knows what it is. I can throw a pic up of it if that would help. let me know sh1t looks weird.
 
Have you gone cold turkey with the smokes yet? Or are you still weaning or trying? No shame in a prolonged game, bro. I must have "bought my last pack" about 40 times, "officially quit" about 20 times, "seriously quit" about 7 time and "made an oath to quit" 4-5 times before I was sincerely able to stop. Just checking up on ya.

Bruising as a result of lifting and not superficial impact, is normally a tear of some sort, "normally." If it doesn't hurt your arm to flex your elbows, then it sounds less like a tear and I wouldn't be 100% sure what it is.

It looks like a very minor tear, but that would be too coincidental if BOTH of your bi's have it. I've never heard of a bilateral tear, it's like having both tires of your car pop at once, it RARELY happens outside of police chases.

Someone else should chime in.
 
This is a bicep tendon tear, which yours is nowhere near as drastic. Looking at the two, yours may not be a tear. At least not in the tendon, that's for damn. I don't know, maybe it was just a crazy bi's workout, hard to call it.

Not too bad, I always get stretch marks there too. The other day i was like i am going to wreck my bis today and that is what happened. Maybe the pump was too strong(arnold voice)

Maybe you've officially punked all of our bi's workouts. If you're not causing internal bleeding of the biceps, you're not working Hman tough.

I have a quick question for people that are still watching my log, How does everyone hold their hands for deadlifts, I have heard of three ways and i have always done it one wya nd i tried to switch the other day and wasn't nearly as strong as the other way. I am right hand dominate but am strong with my left some times. I hold my hands right knuckles facing foward and the left facing back. Everyon let me know!!!!!!!
 
I always hold mine with fingers pointing in, as you can develop an uneven back by having a reverse grip, wich can cause bad problems.

I do prone grip for both hands. I go as high as I can with my natural grip then add straps.
 
Knuckles out - opposite of underhand grip
 
I'm going to just start calling things whatever I want, so when I say it on here people will ask me what it is and think it's the actual name.

I use Gorilla Grip on this exercise, but sometimes I like to change it up with Garfunkel Grip (pinky out - Cause Art Garfunkel is artsy like that).

Yeah it measures a 1500 on the Androgenic side of the Vida rating. If that means anything really. lol It does give some aggression for sure though. I'll be hitting up some Epi/D-Bols here in less than a week when I start my new cycle!! :head: Talk about pre-workout booster??!! :woohoo:
..... first off I dont know HOW I missed this one... lovin readin the log up till now Hman... cant wait to see how it finishes, like readin a book, lol.

BUT TG I had to jump in here sir and let you know thats incorrect.... EPI believe it or not has a 1500 ANABOLIC rating!!!! and a much lower androgenic(cant remember the exact right now)

BUT the thing is that Epi has an EXTREMELY HIGH binding affinity for the Androgen receptor SO it still activates it extremely well making all the lovely strength gains there BUT because its so damn anabolic it doesnt have all the nasty sides that are typical with your high androgens.... AND this same compound blocks the ER... damn fine compound, damn fine.

Kinda reminds me when I do heavy benching or squats and my shirt/bench rubbing on the skin leaves a slight hicky like bruise.... in fact got one on my back now.
