Sounds like a steady road back on track. Glad to hear it S!
Anytime S. Do you find yourself slowly sipping or chugging the IA during the workout? Sometimes I look down and am shocked its no longer there![]()

yeah I'm excited. I'm not going to go too heavy or too hard just yet. its my first time doing this in five months. ease into it over the next month or couple of months. At least I'm able to lift. thanks for the support Univeral team and everyone else. It mean's a lot.
Had the Intra-aid when I was running out of steam and it re-energized me. this product has my approval boys and girls and if you know me you know I test logs objectively. The taste is what sets it apart, along with the energy it gives you, when your steam is low.
I think your doing the right thing with these lower weights, but maybe you should take some time off buddy. I know the problem I had with my forearms we talked about a while back did'nt go away till I did just that. Good luck man I'll be following along.Low incline db press 30 lbs-20 x's
Chest stretch 15 lbs-1:00
Homon 90 % db press 15 lbs-15
kickbacks 20 lbs 15 x's
one arm db rows 35 lbs- 15 x's
barbell rows (false grip ) 25 (on each side) 10 x
barbell shrugs 45 +45- 10 x's
pullup(middle grip) 160- assisted 10 x's
back hang 160 lbs- 1:00
I think i overdid it today with either the db rows, the barbell rows or the shrug. My arm felt a little too much and back to the drawing board on these exercises, may have to cut them out. well see how sore elbow gets. On an up note no pain right now. Ice it good after workout.

shrugs on smith machine on a squat position. I put the bar on my traps since I don't think its a good idea to grip anything and just shrugs got up to 2 plates on each side for ten, nice and slow squeeze at the top so I felt every muscle in my traps filling with blood
Have you tried using a standing calve machine to do shrugs?
Also, you may think about overhead shrugs with a dumbbell or barbell.
And the video is no longer available?
What was it of?
We're sorry, this video is no longer available.
Thanks for that video S. I am going to try those lying rope curls.

I was thinking, the only place at my gym to do them in on the seated cable row. That will get me some looks LOL!
I may be able to use the low cable pull attachment on my boys Weider bench? Gonna have to try these.
I was gonna drag a bench over to the cable crossovers...
Ah! Didn't think of that!
You're not the only mad scientist!
I like those feet together smith machine squats... really brings out the outer sweep in your quads...
New equipment to switch it up is a good thing man. Might be just what you need for arm day now?
Correct. from what I see that's why I joined because better equipment to work with my body with the rahab process.(which its really not an injury anymore, its more of rehabbing it, which is great news. my elbow specialist actually told me to what Im doing is a good idea, repping it out and seeing if there's any pain, instead of diving in and chancing it) Animal flex has been treating me good.
Nautilus row machine(one arm at a time, Dorian did these)(at the bottom as I feel every fiber of my lower lats being stimulated) 90 lbs- 15 x's
Shrugs on the calve machine a few sets repped it out. last set was at 300 lbs 5 x's and squeeze hard at the top , not stopping squeezing at the top in till i felt blood gorged in my upper traps.
You've been on a steady incline of progression in here sy. Very motivating bro. I'm glad you got to be one of our loggers and get to try the IA. It seems you've really put it to good use. Making the most of every workout while rehabbing.
Hg
yeah this is a little off subject. Layne Norton had pec injury and is rehabbing it or its almost ready. He says bcaa's and hmb(I know hmb is a precursor to Lucine so i don't see how leucine just wouldn't work which i think it would instead of hmb , Layne Norton says hmb) prevent muscle wasting and he only lost 7 lbs of muscle(which if you look at seven lbs of beef in the store its still a lot) anyways that's not bad at all for not doing any lifting.
This has helped me retain muscle I think i would have lost.In fact i believed I have gained muscle from working the legs and starting back on upper body. Esp when i was doing one arm only training I gained a good five lbs on Intra-aid. It was the Bcaa's and beta alanine, which I also dosed my own supply of ba at like 4 -6 g's a day. Beta alanine works for me very well i must say. Credit to bcaa's as well.
Today
nautilus chest machine(basically no pressure on elbow) 80 lbs-30 x's
homon db press 20 lbs-25 x's
Did the Intra-aid with 35 ox of water mmmm. Today was my last day . I'm going to miss it and when i have the money, i'll buy a tub.
nautilus tri extension machine 30 lbs 100 lbs, 30 with one hand 7 x's joints, tendons, ligaments were popping too much had to quit.
Ive been icing stretching, warming up and using my wrap tightly.
Final review
taste : best i ever had.
ingredients: if you know anything you know these work just like any other ingredients. these have bcaa's and beta alanine and there main ingredients. the thing why i would buy it again is the taste. Taste is better than any other bcaa mix Ive ever tried.
Thanks for the opportunity Universal/Animal. I'll be using your products as I have since I got into bodybuilding. Great company you are(that's Yoda talk O well)
