Yeah, for a veggie they have a lot of sugar, but overall glycemic load is incredibly low; you would have to eat a TON of carrots to have a negative impact on your blood sugar. The benefits that the carotenoids and other phytonutrients provide far outweigh the drawback of ingesting the scant amound of sugar in carrots.
If you're still concerned about it though, consume the carrot shake "thing" along with 16-20g of healthy fat. That will drastically reduce glycemic index (even though it's already really low to begin with) and afford better absorbtion of the carrot's vitamin K and the other fat-soluble vitamins in that shake.
