bulk Bcaa

Hey I am a little confused about Nutraplanet's Bulk BCAA. I not sure if Im being stupid but I don't get How a 1/4 teasoon =400mg that would mean a teaspoon which is 5 grams would only equal 1600mg or 1.6 grams of bcaa. So I have a Kilo of this stuff and only getting 320 grams of bcaa out of 1000. When other brands are a full 1000grams of 1000grams. Somebody help me let me know if I'm right or just out of my mind.

Damn do I really get 625 teaspoons???? Damn I use alot.

I have not used the NP bulk in a few months b/c it was out. So it is not 200 teaspoons per kilo?

So is the mass different because one is pharmaceutical grade and the other not?

It isn't a best seller for nothing. We are selling 1000g of BCAA's. Read carefully, that's the mass. So the kilo is giving you exactly what the name says. The density is low, so it will have a larger volume. However the NOW version is only giving you 5x68 = 340g BCAA.

Doing the math, 1kg of NP's BCAA is 625 tsp, or 3.125L... someone can double check that.
 
Thanks for everybodys help I feel so ripped off I could have got a name brand name of BCAA for half that price if you look at how many grams you are actually getting. Oh, Steveoph there are only 200 teaspoons in a Kilo. A teaspoon is = to 5g a 1000 divided by 5 is 200 teaspoons so you getting 320g of actually BCAA that BullSh*t. Nutraplant should really tell you that or show you the label on the website because I assumed 1000g = 1000g like mostly ever other company minus of few even some other bulk companies tell you whats on the label such as supplement direct. and that like 500g for $20 bucks and its actually 250 grams of BCAAs
 
Perhaps I didn't explain myself clearly enough. You are not getting ripped off in any way. Get a digital scale and you will see a tsp is 1.6g. There will be (1000/1.6)= 625 in the container of 1000g BCAA's.

PS A brand-name BCAA and NP's bulk BCAA are identical. There can't even be any variations in substance, the only difference in this case is the density.
 
s 6.4g of BCAA = 4teaspoons?

i must be taking way underdosed then..

iv always thought 5g BCAA would be 1 teaspoon..

didnt know the nutraplanet BCAA was lighter in density.
 
One question:
You say 1 tsp=1.6g weightwise. But how much bcaa is in 1 level teaspoon??? Is this pure bcaa powder with NOTHING ELSE???
Please let me know cause i want to know how much tsp of the nutraplanet bulk bcaa powder do i need to get 10g of bcaa preworkout

im assuming 6 teaspoons..

im just going to use my xtend scoop. i can fit 2 metric teaspoons in there..

2 scoops = 4tsp = 6.4g

Correct, 1 level tsp. is approx 1.6g of pure BCAA. so 10/1.6 = 6.25 tsp roughly to get your 10g. It will never be perfectly level, the 400 mg per 1/4 tsp is rounded to the nearest 50 mg and so there is some variance once you get into larger doses. But like Hank said, more is better and at this price it's only pennies!
 
by the way, got another question and this one is regarding the bulk ecdysterone powder from nutraplanet. Im supposed to take 1 gram a day, does it contains a scoop or something or how is this one measured?? I want to take 1 gram divided into 4 even doses.

NO, there are 5ML to a teaspoon, i.e. a measurement of volume. 5g is a measurement of mass and will have a variable volume dependent upon density. It's called basic physical sciences. NP's bcaas are one of the best deals out there.
