i got a really bad caffeine withdrawn about 3 months or so.. I have been taking Animal cuts which has a 200mg of caffien.. i have been taking 2-3 serving a day.. if do take the 3rd doage, i dont take the caff pill..

Animal cuts is good for 21 days.. How can i avoid this PAINFUL withdrawn. taper?

personally I'd just quit cold turkey. The withdrawal symptoms with caffeine aren't anything advil can't take care of.

agree with rugger here, it shouldnt be too severe. nothing to be overly concerned with

Maybe some Reset AD would help? It would at least alleviate the adrenal burnout you most likely have from overconsumption of caffeine.

Have you tried very low doses of caffeine?

Incidence of caffeine withdrawal. Blind experimental studies in healthy normal caffeine consumers who abstain for „ 24 hours indicate that the incidence of withdrawal headache is about 50%. When all withdrawal symptoms are considered, the incidence of caffeine withdrawal is higher. In a population-based random digit dial telephone survey study, 40 to 70% of individuals who tried to quit caffeine use reported experiencing withdrawal symptoms.

Many caffeine consumers may be unaware of their physical dependence on caffeine because their frequent habitual consumption precludes a period of sustained abstinence (e.g. 2 days). Furthermore, relatively low doses of caffeine (e.g. as little as 25 mg) can partially suppress withdrawal symptoms. Thus, some people may report never experiencing withdrawal because they unknowingly consumed small amounts of caffeine on days they thought they had been caffeine free. Finally, caffeine withdrawal symptoms (e.g., headache, nausea, muscle aches) may be misattributed to other causes or ailments (e.g., viral infection).

Maybe you could try dosing 25-50mg of caffeine per day for a week or two, and cut back further from there?

Caffiene has rated close to heroin in terms of debilitating withdrawal symptoms . Taper off slowly is my advice.

get the caffeine pills in the store, and slowly lower the dose, cut the pills in 1/2, etc. one cup of coffe has 80mg of caffeine. you might try 4 cups one day, then 3 1/2, etc until you get down to 1/2 a cup.

i agree with rugger though - that kind of withdrawal (2-3 weeks) and you are taking in WAY more caffeine than you think - either through coffee, tea, supps, or soda. my withdrawal lasted 4 1/2 weeks, and i was on 80 cups of coffee a day for just over a decade.

you must get your coffee from a different source than I. same rules apply though. take 2 cups for a week, then 1 1/2 cups for a week, etc. wean yourself off. cold turkey was a nightmare for me. sweating every day for just over a month with the AC stuck at 68 degrees - my body couldn't figure out how to process water intake. nasty stuff.

It's not really that simple, no. The sudden drop in adrenal output has a direct impact on acetylcholine and other neurotransmitter outputs. Caffeine really is a drug and you really can have withdrawal issues from it.

I've been drinking 2 cups of coffee/day since age 9 and have stopped cold turkey twice with hideous results. If you are just a short term user..then withdrawal symptoms won't last as long but it is still very addictive even in the short term.

I used to drink about 3 pots of coffee or 2 liters of diet mountain dew a day. Don't ask why, I don't know either. I liked it I guess. I had to stop because of heart problems so I just stopped. I had a headache for like 2 days, and honestly it wasn't even that bad.

It's kind of funny to read all you guys who im sure are all much harder than me getting worked up over a little headache, just stop taking it and deal with the consequences, they will be over sooner that way

tyrosine in place of caffeine trust me . it also restores adrenals.

You my man are very smart.

In addition, for tyrosine to be effective on functions involving the CNS, tyrosine should be ingested on an empty stomach, especially without BCAAs or glucose.

Furthermore, data indicates a dose of 50-150mg per kg (1kg = 2.2lb) of body weight per day.

Thanks start out with it at .5 grams with caff then that helps the transition to coming off.

or just come off starting with a gram in the morning. One gram gets me alert and may cause trouble sleeping at night, for my own chemistry. It might effect you different. I use it only on days I'm lagging or rundown.

There was a guy on here I forget his name he used to take three grams a day. :jaw:
