Stak and M-Stak Log

For those of us not that familiar with Animal products, it makes it alot easier if you post up the supplement facts on the first page, or just link it. I know we can all find it on our own, but I feel it makes a good start to a log.

Anyways I'm up to speed now. How long do your routines usually take you, about 60 mins?

Good point... Sorry, about that... Workouts take between 60-90 min... Depending on how long I have to wait for equipment... (The drawbacks of a small Bally's...) And, great to have ya along!!!

Thanks for reminding me... The 120 on the rope hammer curls was a PR... I'd only been able to hit 100 for reps, previously...:head:

Stairs are a pain in the a$$ (Literally) today... A-Rep and Yohead have dropped greatly on my popularity chart... (J/K) SUTAS is the word for the day, as is Golum... But, I'm sure loving my progress!!! I'm starting to notice the effects of the Stak, a bit more, vs. post contest rebound...

I do Leg Extension, then Squats, then Leg Press, then the Hack. If I was to try the 100's, should I do LE, Hack, Press, then Squat so I can finish out my quads witht he 100's?

Thanks!!! That sounds like a pretty good idea... The reason I have it in the order that I do, is the first batch of leg extensions it to get my joints and muscles warmed up, and then go into what would be my heaviest portion of the session, while I'm still fresh...

Yeah I trained exactly that way for the last 9 months. Just started to do the LE's heavy before squats. Will be going back to a light set-heavy set scheme later.

Looking forward to, but not looking forward to trying those. It may become a dropset 100 first time around.

Anyways, keep those lifts strong.

Dropsets are great, as well... It took me a while to get to the 100's for LE's and calf raises, then I realized it was just a mindset you had to get into...:thumbsup:

Sadly, I did not get any gym time in, due to my wife's illness... I had to take her to the hospital on friday, and after an overnight stay, LOTS of I.V. fluids, and compazine... She is on the mend... But I pulled double duty on the Puppy Power Walks, as I had to walk Mozart (Her rottweiller...) as well as Igor (My black lab....)... But, tonight will be cest and tri's...

You know as well as others that sometimes unexpected rest is good rest, and will allow you to hit it that much harder later.

As HG said, sometimes the wife needs to come first. Glad to hear shes doing ok.

Some Early Thoughts On Stak...

I've noticed some increase in size, and the weights have gone up... I'm pretty much to the point where I'll be able to tell whether or not it was "post contest rebound" or not... I'm definitely loving the results I'm getting so far!!!:bb3:
 
Day 17...

Yesterday was an active rest day... Aside from the usual 2 sessions of Puppy Power Walking, I wound up re-arranging the wood pile, and splitting a few more logs... Winter is getting closer and closer, and I want to be ready... Plus I kind of like being outdoors, swinging an axe... *L*
Tonight, though, is legs!!!

Not sure what to mix up for me. It's a serious concern. I think it may just end up being high rep leg ex and leg curls with some calf raises? Not sure what else I can do right now? Squatting and stuff is out for now :(
