What Are The Benefits Of Fish Oil?

4-6g per day:

-Good for joints (lubrication)
-Good for aches (anti inflammatory)
-Supports fat loss
-Enhances mood (yes.)

Maybe if our western culture ate more fish, we'd be healthier. Hell, I live in New England and I don't even like to eat fish. But fish oil is great for you.

If I could afford more fish I would eat it - it's real expensive in Australia - up to $50/kg.

I try and eat tinned tuna once or twice a week with brown rice.

Damn - I'm going to have to buy it online next time. I bought mine at walgreens...BOGO $10 150 caps. (300caps total). I guess thats not tooo bad for a local store.

fish oil has been proven to reduce and in some cases eliminate cancer. it was a small study (20 people). its also needed for healthy brain function.

sounds like you take liquid...gnc has a 'triple strength' where a 1g cap yields 900mg omega 3. pricey convinence!

yeah 12 caps - quantity over quality - I have been buy locally in Australia - going to have to looking into NP to see what they've got with my next order

Read this thread about Charles Poliquin's megadosing regime. It contains a lot of great information.
