Most of those fights were pretty bunk. And of course they give silva a f*cking tomato can to fight for this first 205... Dana White always uses these free shows just for hype for the winners next fight. Silva won the damn thing before the contracts were signed.

That kick at the end made watching all 3 hours worth it. Did you see that guy Brodie's jaw clench up after getting his proverbial teeth knocked out... that fool has brain damage for sure. I'm surprised we didn't see any standing hammerfists last night. :toofunny:

Threw Leg Press in... Never used the machine before - seriously anyway. Definitely messed around on one a couple years ago.

By the way BS - saw the pullup grips you were talking about. Of the 4 or 5 stations in the gym for pullups, only one has the close together grips for palms away grips. Did 2 reps just to get a feel for it for my next back day.

I felt like a freakin monster today. I really wanted to push the envelope on legs... My thighs were completely blown up after the leg press, which is why I skipped leg extensions - figured I was good for quad work - and I'm trying to rotate some exercises in and out. Also saw some nice definition on my calves for the first time during my leg press sets. Right leg is a bit more cut up and vascular - I suspect from all those years of exploding off that leg to kick fools.

I think the huge increase in carbs is making me a bit bloated and retaining some water. I woke up at 181 this morning after starting at 174. Any way to control the water weight while on cycle?

Hdrol is actually really dry. Strange that you're retaining water, but your theory could be right.

I'd say the easiest way to control it would be to cut back carbs, maybe replace them with more protein. If you want to just take something, there are always water pills. SAN makes a good one called Shredded. It'll have you pissing like a racehorse.

Alright - yeah, its just an aesthetic thing... no big deal. Just wasn't planning on that much retention. 7 pounds is almost a gallon of water.

Damn near, you only got 1.34 lbs to go, whos to say its water??? Are you looking smoothed out??? Cuz you been on the heavies eating everyfvcking thing diet, right?????

Actually, I'm not that smoothed out, and my chest and shoulders feel swole as sh*t. But yes, I've been eating like a monster. My stomach is still defined... just a little "full" feeling...

Just left the bathroom, I think we can take 1.5 pounds off as definitely NOT being water weight.

As much as I hate to... I think I need to leave snatch and press out of my workout. It's one of my favorite exercises, but it doesn't agree with me. Maybe I need a lesson on form to see if thats causing the injury.

You trying to be a powerlifter?... uneccisary move IMO. Wears out the body fast and is very prone to injury.

It's an explosive move... Any kind of lift like that does wonders for punch mechanics and functional power... I can work around it though. I think it's out of my repitoire for good.

It is funny!I had the song stuck in my head at work,and all I could picture were his hands in the air with that big smile at "I will dance for you."They could of cut it in half,but I just end it when I'm done laughing.Give me some shrooms,and put it on repeat for the whole trip though!
 
I have heard cleans are great for the whole upper back.....I never do them though.That doesn't prove anything,just saying....

Yea, I am sure they put on a ton of strength and muscle... it's just one of those lifts that if you screw up you are gonna regret it.

Plus he's doing the press which turns it into a military press at top to finish.He trains for different reasons though.....I would just make sure your shoulders are recovering TL's,if you do them on another day than shoulders.

Thanks bro... Snatch and press is always a shoulder day exercise... but I'm going to retire them for awhile... Do them once every two weeks or so... I'll rotate in Kettleballs or something.
 
Damn... so tonight was supposed to be my day off after my Doom worthy leg night last night... and I decided to use the night to buy an in-window air conditioner for my large room to replace the rolling one I have. They are much better at cooling off rooms.

So I get to Home Depot and buy one that is bigger than I need (12,000 BTU)... it weights 110 pounds. Throw it in a cab, then carry it up my 5 flights of stairs... There's still crack sweat all over the stairs I'm sure...

I get it up stairs, razor open the box, and I see that it looks like a fu*king car hit the *****... I mean dented beyond use. So I call and ask what to do... they are like bring it in... Of course I'm too stubborn to wait until tomorrow, cause its a gym day (duh)... So I take the thing without the box and carry it 6 blocks to the place. When I get there I'm dripping with sweat, and there's blood all over my hands and arms from small cuts. I exchange the thing, carry it back to a cab, up 5 flights of stairs, and take 90 minutes to install it into my window.

So now I'm icy cold. :thumbsup: Luckily I dosed my H-drol before, but I haven't eaten in 4 or 5 hours, and I'm dehydrated. But I still way 179! :lol: I'm going to slam a small whey shake after that.

TIME TO EAT :food: AND DRINK AND WASH MY BALLS. What a freakin day off...
