ok guys, i'll be doing a cycle of epistane starting tomorrow God willing. i already got it all planned out so i don't need any advice. however, you can chime in if you like if you have a suggestions/constructive critisism.

i will be posting my cycle. i'm going to try to write what i take everyday but forgive me if i don't have enough time to post a day's log entry. i'm a busy mofo. i will also be posting my meals for everyday as well as my training and any experiences i'm having that may be related to my cycle.

for those of you that don't know, epistane is an over-the-counter product so it is 100% legal. it is marketed as a pro-hormone but infact, it is actually AAS!

here's my cycle.

i will be pulsing Epistane. the reason i'm pulsing is because this is my first cycle and i don't want to be experiencing some of the side effects that come with taking it every day, i don't have the money to be spending on liver support and all that, and i don't want to spend money on an expensive post cycle thearapy. don't worry, i've done my research and this is a pretty safe way to go about doing it.

so for those of you that don't know what pulsing is, it's basically taking the compound 3-4 times a week or every other day at a slightly higher dose instead of taking it every day. it takes twice as long to gain this way. there are several benefits to cycleing this way. one, is, since i'm going to be taking 30mg of epistane 3 times a week, i'm not giving it enough time to shut me down (I'll still be shut down a little but nothing compared to an ED cycle). so in other words, by cycleing this way, i will have verry little shutdown. also, my liver is going to be a lot more relaxed than if i were taking 20mg everyday for 3 weeks. if i did a streight cycle of epi by taking it every day, i would have to run liver support while one, and for post cycle, i'd have to run an anti-estrogen, testoserone booster, cortizol blocker, and i really don't have the money for all that. with pulsing, since you get very little shutdown, i'm really only going to run Post Cycle Support by Anabolic Innovations for my PCT. it's got the hawthornberry extract in there for your blood pressure, test-booster/estrogen blocker already in there and plus it does things to bring your libido back to normal (horney goat weed). by doing a streight cycle for example, if someone gained 12lbs in 3 weeks, by pulsing, you'd gain 10lbs in 8 weeks or so theoretically. so since i'm pulsing this oral, i'm able to take it for more than twice as long. slower gains like these are more likely to be kept than the faster gains anyway. so i might end up keeping about 8lbs of lean mass in the end. let's see.

so this is my cycle

this week

Tuesday - 10mg Epi before workout
Thursday - 20mg (10mg before workout, 10mg after)
Saturday - 30mg (20mg before workout, 10mg after)

and then i'll just stay at 30mg for a week and a half or so and if i feel the need, i'll bump it up to 40mg.

so it's just gonna be 3 times a week. that's it. for 8 weeks. i'll probably have some Epi left over from doing this way. that way, i can run 2 cycles with one bottle. MAYBE. i won't be doing another cycle for a while after this one. i wanna give my body some time to recover.

for PCT 8 weeks from now,

Post Cycle Support
2 caps in AM, 2 caps in the PM for 5 weeks

does anybody think i should run it for longer? we'll see.


nutrition:

i'm currently cutting but i'm going to be switching to a bulk phaze just for the cycle and durring post cycle thearapy and then, God willing, i'll go back to cutting. i'm 10% bodyfat right now and shouldn't gain much fat while on Epistane so i figured i might as well go all out. i WILL be eating as clean as i can though.

i want to be having

4500 calories daily
around 380g of carbohydrates
about 255g of protein
and about 80g of fat

right now i'm 5'4, 171lbs at 10% bodyfat

i hopefully will be doing low intensity cardio twice a week for 30 min.

and this is my split right now

Monday - off
Tuesday - Shoulders/Traps/Abbs
Wednesday - Bicep/Triceps
Thursday - Legs/Calves
Friday - Off
Saturday - Chest
Sunday - Back/Calves

the first pic is me at 176lbs at my heaviest but bloated. i think i was around 15% bodyfat.

the second one is another recent one as well at 10% but the flash took away almost all defenition.

the others are a little older.
 
You already have some hefty wheels, there...so I am definitely intrigued to follow along.

How safe is it to assume that it really won't shut down or that it'll be a slower / safer one? Cause this would really interest me as I'm in the same position as you - very low on cash - so not having to buy SERM and all the others would be great.

I'd like to see some input on sides - if any - to maybe try this one myself as well.

well, it IS safer than running a normal cycle. but nothing is guarenteed. i didn't say it will not shut you down cuz it def. will. you just won't be nearly as shut down as if you ran a normal cycle. for example, since you take it for one day and then next day you don't, you don't really give you balls enough time to shrink really.

when you get a chance, search for the thread titled, "how to pulse orals". it's very informative. it is true that you experience less side effects when pulsing but that doesn't mean you're not going to expereince any.

good workout. i can definalty notice something different. although i don't know what.

strength is down cuz i've been off creatine for a while and it's finally starting to wear off.

the reason why my weights are so low is that i wait very little time between sets. also, i pre-exhausted my delts with the side laterals. i get better size when they're already fatigued.

great workout

one thing i noticed today is that women were 10x more attrative than usual. i doubt it's the epi cuz i only took 10mg.

also, i think i MIGHT feel that overall sense of well being or the "on gear" feeling. but not sure. all i know is i felt good today. a little tired toward the end of the shift but that is usually normal.

same thing as yesterday. very short rest times so weights weren't high. got a rediculous pump.

strangly, i still feel like i'm "on" even though i only took 10mg yesterday. not sure if it's related but i got pissed off today cuz my workout partner was taking too long on his set so i told him to get the **** off the machine and let me work in cuz i was cooling down. the mofo takes so long just to sit on the ****ing machine. anyway, hopefully this isn't roid rage cuz this isn't like me.
i know i sound like a total n00b since in only took 10mg yesterday. but i think maybe since i'm a small dude, it's stronger for me.

and i also thing i'm more agressive in the gym. not only did my vascularity improve and my pumps are rediculous, but...i'm a crazy mofo.

those dumbbell curl drop sets weren't easy but i was like tom platz on those. i LOVED the pain!

also, i'm becoming selfish. i didn't give a **** about my friend's workout today. i just wanted to get MY workout done.

did anybody experience ANY of this with their first dose?

tomorrow God willing is 20mg epistane and a crazy leg workout.
 
I'm thinking it's the excitement causing a placebo effect. It could be the 10mg, but I doubt it. When you get that "on" feeling i'm sure it's going to be very difficult for you to deal with your partner's lack of dedication IMO.

I had this problem with Superdrol a long time ago. I didn't want him to help me with my last reps and he thought he was helping, but things settled down after a while.

Here's something you might want to consider dood for keeping costs down on the grub:
Buy chicken on sale ($2/lb for skinless/boneless chicken breasts)....bulk purchase that $hit (25lbs?). I like to grill out at least 5lbs at a time. Bulk cooking! I also make a TON of brown rice on the stove or whole grain pasta (2 boxes at a time). Lasts a while and it's CHEAP! Now, just buy a bunch of bags of frozen veggies.

Maybe get Costco or Sam's Club card? IDK, sometimes I question the value of those places. I am not a current member as I seem to have great luck buying at regular stores when food is on sale. :) Good luck on Epi bro.

BTW, I felt my 1st 10mg of Epi....more vasculated just walking around. On 30mg....(day 2), it was def. noticeable.

crazy workout. intensity was up. i had no mercy on my hamstrings today. i burned them like i never have before. if i did what i'm doing now to my hamstrings a couple weeks ago, i wouldn've thrown up for sure. but since i've been doing a lot of drop sets, i'm in really good shape right now.

nothing has changed as far as how i feel that's related to epistane. i felt kinda moody today. everything annoyed me and when i was using the vacuum at work, the extension chord kept getting tangled up and unplugging the damn thing so i threw the hose. not sure if it's related to my cycle but i'm usually an angry person like that. felt really lethargic today before work. but i think that could be related to my suicide leg workout. oh trust me dude, it was insanityx10.

tomorrow is no work and no workout, no epistane. complete rest day God willing. so it's just eating.

hopefully, on saturday, i'll bump it up to 30mg before my chest day!

I do want to say that I'm recently off an IGF-1 run, and the true effects of IGF manifest themselves after the actual run itself (it's a peptide taken for its long-term results, unlike a PH/DS). Just wanted to throw that out there as to not mislead. But I will say that the pump I felt at day 2 (30mg) is the same when I'm not in the gym...ie, forearms are swoled up and vasculated just sitting at my desk. :)

also i see in 2days u bumped it up to 20mg .. how long you planning on staying on 20mg ? and will 30mg be the max ?

i actually ordered my epi online.

i bumped it up to 30mg today and plan on staying at that for AT LEAST a week if not longer. the max will be 40mg i think. unless i really see no changes. then i'll just bump it to 50mg but i don't think i'll have to do that. hope not cuz then i might consider buying liver support.

it does suck that i lost 5lbs. even if just water, water helps lubricate my joints and keeps me a little stronger.
 
ok, today i took 30mg of epistane.

i did chest but it sucked. my strength is down a little probably due to my loss of water (IDK). but i couldn't really get a good pump either.

so far, these are DEFINATE side effects i've been experiencing.

overall sense of well-being
Libido boost
Lethargy (today it was bad)
increased agression towards weights
sleeping like a baby everynight
slight loss of appetite
Rage

about the rage, here's what happened today.

i came to the gym and people were already starting to piss me off. i was in one of those moods where everything annoys the **** out of me.

anyway, i went in to do some flat bench press.

on one of my lighter sets toward the end, the people next to me were being so loud that i couldn't concentrate and i hit the barbell to the things stickin' out where you rack it. this completely ruined a greatly anticipated set of mine and then i couldn't get the weight up.

my friend (who was one of the loud dudes), can rushing to help me out. and i told him thanks buddy. but soon after, i felt this huge rush of anger that i've never felt before. i blew up and kicked the bench so hard that now i have a bruise on my foot. i felt like yelling the F word really loud.

i took a walk around my whole gym, then came back and racked all my weights and moved on to the next machine. this old lady was staring at me for literally 5 minutes streight and she should thank God that eventually she looked away cuz i was about to blow up on her too.

so, so far, i've been expereincing these side effects and no gains yet.

i can't wait until the gains kick in because i'm not liking the lethargy or the rage. the lethargy makes me not want to work out and i can't sit and watch a movie cause i'll fall asleep. and i've been getting 8 hours of sleep every night.

if this keeps up, i might just abort the mission lol. cuz like underconstruction said, he didn't really get very good gains from pulsing the dbol. i seriously doubt i'm gonna get real good gains with this pulse.

but for now, i'll keep taking it. my next dose is tuesday at 30mg again.

anybody have any advice on how to deal with all of this?

cool .. how's ure hunger on epi ?and are you consuming 1-2gallons a day atleast ?

i would just be patient .. gains should come .. i have read some great reviews on epi .. i cant wait to try it out myself .. you can however stack trena or xtreme tren for xtra gains.:bb3:

i have a SLIGHT loss of appetite when on epistane so far. nothing major. i can still get all my macros in. it's just a little harder. i have to force it.

yeah, i'm consuming about 1 1/2 gallons of water a day.

thanks. i will be patient. it's just psychologically hard dealing with these side effects and actually having slight negative progress. and i'm eating more than i was before the cycle.

we'll see.

this is all really embarassing but hey, i'm a gear n00b and i'm not gonna sit here and act like i'm some sort of guru.
 
good luck on your cycle of epistane. I have seen decent results, nothing mind boggling. But i havent been 100 % dedicated, had a lot of distractions (work, divorce, etc.) that have kept me out of the gym some days.

As far as your concerns about gains- I didnt feel much until i got to 30-40 mg.
