To any cutters out there,I'm sorry for this.....I have a big chunk of beef fajita meat thawed for tomorrow,two huge sirloins marinating right now,these will be put out on the counter several hours before I cook them to help with flavor and tenderizing,also a bunch of lean 93/7 hamburger,this will be cooked with jalapenos mixed into the meat.All will be grilled.......Jesus christ!I'm going to have trouble sleeping tonight!

Well the fajitas come from the mexican market,steaks and pork usually come from albertsons,sometimes kroger.Depends who has the better deals,and the rest comes from wal mart.Wal marts steaks have all those preservatives in them cause they don't get cut fresh.They're cut and then shipped.Actually they do cut some fresh now,but it's way too expensive.Any time a place has an actual meat market,thats the better choice for the meat.Then get it on sale,which is usually the weekends and stuff thats fixing to go bad.Just divide it up and freeze it.My freezer is almost always full of meat.

sweet, i think tomorrow i'll go grocery shopping. i spend way too much $ eating out everyday. wal mart's meat here at least, fvckin sucks. it's usually weird colors n shyt, lol. i hate wal mart with every muscle fiber in my body. looks like safeway will get over $150 of my money tomorrow :)

yeah and thats why they have preservatives in them so they stay red longer.Usually when you get meat from supermarkets thats on sale,it will have some dark spots too.Totally worth it if you aske me!Not wal marts preservatified sh!t that actually cost more than the fresh,almost bad stuff from real markets:lol:Wal mart is great for everything else though!Pain in the @$$ shopping,but everythings cheaper.I usualy stop off at albertsons on the way home from wal mart with everything but steaks realy.

And oh yeah,eating out kills ya!!!It's crazy how much you can save when you stop.It's usually a minimum $5 for me.The longer you go without fast food and all,the easier it gets.Last time I had fast food I thought this is nowhere near as good as I remeber it.Now when I get my late night cravings,I just can't let myself do it.Had one last night but said fvck it!Made 6 egg whites with 2 whole eggs instead...

Bp is doing all right.Mid-high 130's/low-mid 70's seems to be average.My BP used to be 140's/70's naturally,so not bad for having 40 mgs of havoc every day!I seen 163/80 once in the past!!!I have heard of way higher:fool2:Wo's repeat themselves tomorrow b!tches!!!
 
Id say lighten the weight up.

DB presses are usually done in the 20-30rp range.

I didn't read that anywhere.I know deads and sq's are done differently,but I never read for db presses to be 20-30 rp.I have only read it being suggested for older people to do 25-30rp instead of 11-15 due to joint issues.Either way I'm after strength as much as I'm after size right now.
 
I searched at IM and some do suggest 20-30 while some suggest 15-20.The ones who suggested 20-30 made it sound like thats how it is supposed to be.Some who suggest 15-20 said for joint issues.I feel changing reps with DC from time to time is a good way to add variety.Like I said,I'm after strength just as much as I'm after size right now.Alot of things for DC aren't written in stone I have noticed,and sometimes certain changes are simply for safety reasons...
 
I do tend to change rep schemes around as well.. It is definitely an individual thing for the most part.. For me, i like to work higher in the rep ranges then work myself down. I have gained a good deal of strength this way.

The thing is, you are likely going to top out quick starting out that low. You got 8 on the first set at 80, the jump to 90 may be too large.

You will make good strength gains in the 20-30 range, as long as you are constantly progressing.

IMO if you get up into the 25-30 range, and keep adding weight every time you hit that movement, till you bring it down to 15rp range you will have gained a good deal of strength in the process.

Well my gym's only pair of 85 db's are uneven in weight.They are wrapped in some thick rubber much like a tire,and one db is missing that rubber on both ends.It's about a third of the size of the other,so their will def be a weight difference their.It will be day 16 of havoc tomorrow.Hopefully it kicks in and I get 11 rp with the 90's.If not,then I'll use the same db's next time.I slowed some of the negatives down more than normal with the 80's cause I felt I underjudged the weight a hair.The best strength gains come from low reps,so it's fine if I get less than 11 IMO.I don't care if I can't get one on my last set of the rp set realy.I'll improve from there.

exactly, don't lighten the weight bro. fvck that shyt. you're doing DC, i'm not sure if imprezi is aware of how it is to be done. 20 reps is too many for DC. 15 MAX. any more than that, and you need to increase the weight. you have no joint issues, so keep hittin it hard and heavy! kill the iron tomorrow! :bruce2:

Everythings going quite well as of right now.I was getting some back pumps and mild headaches here and there at first,but I don't get any as of lately.I wont be surprised if back pumps come and go during hard days at work though.Should see on Tues.I guess we're starting a big job then.BP is no worse than it has been naturaly before I started doing something about it.Tomorows wo,and all afterwards will be repeats!I'm excited about this.I'm hoping the havoc has kicked in.Mass tabs took damn near three weeks for me.....Tomorrow is day 16.

being 230 do u think its wise for me to start at 20 or 30?
i was gonna probably do a 3 weeker or 4 max

I'll weigh tomorrow morning and update.I don't think too much so far,I do see a difference in the mirror though.I almost look slightly pumped....I just don't feel much bigger.IDK I'll see tomorrow morning.Not only with the scale,but in the gym as well.At 230 I'd definately start with atleast 20.If doing a four weeker,maybe even 30.I have seen some go to 60 and even 70.That being said,my plan right now is to go to 60 and make it 6 weeks.Maybe do 50 for 10 days or so,then 60 for the final 10 or so.Thats not written in stone,just an idea I would like to do.

Hey!!!What a pleasant surprise!The fun starts tomorrow cause I'm doing DC and it takes 2 weeks for wo's to repeat themselves.So from here on I will list last wo's reps and weights with the next wo.I feel thats more fun to see it that way so you can see the increases.I hope like hell to see some tomorrow!!!

I am not sure if YOUR aware of how its done.. lol I have been DC'ng for a couple years now, and understand exactly how its done.

It is about CONSTANT progression. If you start too heavy, you will likely stall out faster, and have to lighten the weight anyway.



Pantera101-Either way, if you feel like you can make progress by jumping to 90's by all means go for it. If it works for YOU, that is all that matters. I Was just giving you some advice from experience.. Sorry to clutter up ur log brotha!

I made the mistake of jumping way too high in weights the first time I blasted. I maxed out my weights, like 3-4 weeks in.

Certain exercises require different rest/pause total reps. It's not a 'bigger penis' competition. Some exercises (like the floor skullcrusher) should be done in a higher rep range due to safety reasons.


Another is seated front smith military press vs. behind the head seated military press.

I don't know how I'll do today with the 90's,but I def feel like I'll make progress with them.I would feel better going to 85's,but I'm not using my gyms uneven 85db's,and I don't want to stay at the 80's either.And don't worry man!You haven't cluttered anything.This is what this site's about!

It's day 16 and I started right around 162.I'm just under 168 this morning.So almost 6 lbs up.Midsection isn't as tight as it used to be,but abs are still visible.

you know the big fat rubber grips they have on DB? well his gym has a pair of 85's and 1 of them has a missing grip. the weight will be uneven due to that. fvckin cheap as$ gyms! :aargh:

Dam.. I got one of those bougie gyms that gets new DBs twice a year... Good with the bad. Sometimes I'd rather have uneven DB than 5000 homos.

Exactly,and it's missing the rubber on both ends of the DB.I swear it's about 70% of the size of the other.I know it's just rubber,but it's like a tire cause I have picked up small pieces off the floor that have a little weight to them and feel alot like a tire.Once LA fitness opens I'll be there!Cheaper memebership,and a nicer gym.It's a commercial gym so I bet it will replace broken sh!t pronto!!!I'll just have to make sure they allow deads and stuff like that.

Before I update todays wo,theirs this old man at my gym who is surprisingly strong and such a d!ck!!!!I have never seen someone throw and drop weights as he does though.Horrible form and I can't believe his body can take it cause he has to be atleast 60.He's one of those show offs that you can tell are just lifting heavy to impress others and rub it in your face and be like I'm better than you.He huffs and puffs,complains left and right about something.He just acts like he owns the place.I even heard a PT'r telling his client how much of an @$$ he is.I wish he I could tape him to show himm.Some of the things just can't be explained.
Plus on that Lee Haney video I watched today he was saying how he basically envies BB'rs that don't have the best genetics but have a hell of a heart and drive and succeed anyways.Good motivation right there!I couldn't quote all he said,but thats the jist of it......

Okay,it's day 16 and the havoc is in full swing now!!!

Wo's will be last wo,which was two weeks ago cause thats how DC works,then todays.
INC db's-80-8,4,3----->90-9,4,almost 1,couldn't quite lock it out but I count it cause it was just shy of lock out.
db mil press-55-8,4,3---->70-7,65-2,3.I had a hell of a time getting the 70's into position again,and when I did,I couldn't get 'em back up.So I grabbed 65's-2,3.On the second set that old man grabs the 70's from beside me which distracted the hell out of me and messed me up.This is what I mean by being a jerk.Then he stands infront of me and does the sloppiest hammer curls ever huffing and puffing the whole time.I was on the second rep and though what the hell!?Then my left arm started falling backwards!C0ck sucking bastard!!!!
Dips-50-8,4,3---->60-8,4,1.This is good cause I'm roughly 6lbs heavier now.
wide pullups-Bw-6,4,3---->5lber(LMAO!)-8,4,2.Again I'm roughly 6 lbs heavier,so very nice!(borat voice)
Rack deads fvckers!!!!!-315-7,405-4---->365-11,455-8!Damn thos felt good!I have these painfull rug burn type things just above my knees,but it felt so good.I may have been able to hit 9,but I didn't feel safe so I listened to that little voice.I mean the eigth one was hard as hell!Then when I quit I had a little pain in the side of my right knee......You ever see a guy snap his leg on deads?I have,on TV ofcourse.

I did a little abs and alittle cardio and felt great!Didn't want to leave!

Yeah I picked one 90lber up off the floor to put it on the rack beside the other,and I though this feels kinda light?Then as I got 'em into position the first time,it was way easier then I had thought it would be.I forgot to say this but I had a feeling it was kicking in cause last Sat I had to pick these augers up and put 'em into the bed of my truck by myself.It's those things you may have seen people digging holes with and they drag 'em.Well ours is an 8 horsepower engine with a roll cage which really came in handy when I forgot to tie it down one day and that b!tch went off the back of the trailer bouncing and rolling all over the road!Well it's heavy and awkward,2 people always load it and unload it.I have put it on the trailer beofore and it was easier putting it in my truck last time which is twice as high as the trailer.That was my first clue I forgot to mention...I mean I was getting myself phsyched up and everything for it,did it and though wow!That was pretty easy!As long as things keep going well I want to gradually increase to 60,and run it for 6 weeks.I'm loving it so far!

haha, i know what you mean with the auger's bro. those mofo's are heavy. i'm contemplating adding in epistane during the last part of my cycle to harden things up and gain more mass and strength :twisted: DrD said that if ANY ph would be the most synergistic with T, it would be Epi. it is still to this day my fav compound for sure.
