I think his traps make him appear bigger than he really is.

Yeah I agree, his traps seem bigger in contrast.

I think his old partner, Snoop's biceps make him look bigger too. He's definitely on AAS as this body isn't attainable naturally:

Ahahaa, too funny dude.
If anybody went to that concert & wasn't a smoker going in, I bet they were buzzed on the flip side, all that secondhand smoke from what everyone else was doing!

Each ticket comes with a complementary doob

btw, I know people were throwing around the Gerard Butler 'before' pic, but there's no proof that he wasn't on sauce in that pic either.

The only thing that the pic shows was that he was slightly fatter.

Especially with that astounding personality too, it's a true mystery to all of us. Life's no fair, just not fair...

Geez, this thread lives on..

Had to pop my head back in here and throw these 2 cents worth out: I just saw Butler in "P.S. I Love You" with my wife, and it is quite obvious that whatever he was doing for 300, he was not doing any longer, cuz he was very, ah, reduced-looking. Very average looking.

That's what I was saying in the beginning. In that movie ps I love u, he was very feeble looking.

I didn't like the movie either.

No kidding, you didn't like a movie called PS I love you? ;)

And yes, for the last time, he was totally on the sauce.

THIS THREAD WILL LIVE FOREVER!!!!

I would not mind the 300 training regimen.
those guys were seriously ripped.
If I was that cut, I'd walk into my office shirtless. lolz

Also keep in mind that those actors have to pack on that muscle and get cut in a matter of weeks so how many natural people do you know that can do that?

:welcome:

It was already stated that in Gerard Butler's case it was 20 weeks. Not sure how much 'muscle he packed on', but he certainly cut fat.

The pic above shows that he dosen't 'maintain' whatsoever.

Hollywood does 'yo-yo' dieting/muscle gains.

No kidding. Orlando Bloom added ~15lbs for his role in Pirates. Afterwards, he dropped it all and is back down to ~155lbs because he didn't like to carry the extra mass.

Now if he had to 'put it back on', similar to Christian Bale a'la Machinist -> Batman, it would come back at a much faster rate, unless you dispute muscle memory too...

Exactly, he magically lost 30 lb LBM after the movie was over...

We all know how it gets magically lost. It would stick if it was natural.

No, it sticks if you continue to train.

Look what happened to Arnold...

Hell, I think Mullet dropped some dramatic weight after his accident.

I have a hard time believing that a 38 yr old man who does not live a fitness lifestyle can naturally shed a lot of fat in 20 weeks and simultaneously put back on substantial muscle solely from muscle memory.

On top of promoting his movie, and whatever else hollywood stars do.
