I'm on the 6 caps a day plan, so would taking it with breakfast still be a bad idea?
Taking a really fatty meal will grealy slow down the absorption of nutrients.
When you wake up, you haven't had anything to eat for a long assed time, and have been funtioning off stored energy in the body; hence, you are in a catabolic state. First thing in the morning is a crucial time to take in carbs and protein and get the body back into an anabolic state. Taking with a big load of fats, absorption can be lowered.
It is because of this, that we do not recommend taking 3-AD with your first meal or your post workout nutrition. It is not the end of the world, but it is the AX recommendation for getting the most mileage from your bottle of 3-AD.
Is 20g of fat high enough to consider it an inhibitor of other nutrients?
So basically, taking the 6 dose route is more encumbering then its worth and the 4 cap route is more reasonable, is sort of the vibe I'm picking up. Because the spread of the dosing time would either HAVE to be one early morning, or the last pretty late at night, where the high fats may be more detrimental... hmmm... decisions, decisions. Maybe an 8 week run on 4 caps would be better then my intended 30 days on 6.
Not inhibit, but slow down/delay. It takes a long time for fatty meals to break down in the stomach.
Gotcha...
Has 3-AD with MassFX and Hyperx2 been addressed already? Good idea or overing doing idea?
What do you mean, good idea to stack them all together? If that's the question, I'd leave out HX2 and save it for your PCT. Dosing MassFX with 3-AD is a good prospect, and one that I'll be doing shortly.
Sinner had said before that taking MFX with fats will help absorption, but I think that taking 3-AD with the fats is more important for absorption. Typically, when we recommend MFX dosing protocols, they revolve around workout time - i.e., dosing 4 caps/day, taking 2 pre-w/o and the other 2 as singlg-cap doses spread throughout the day. With or without meals is up to you and your stomach, IMO. I think that the two recommendations here - the food-oriented 3-AD dosing vs. the w/o time dosing of MFX - can get a bit complicated. But each of us is different, and we all understand that nobody wants to set their alarm clock to go off every 2 hours just to get their pills in at the right time. If it works for you and it follows as much of our recommendations, then go for it!![]()
Dosing 3-AD, I think was said, does not matter when you take it in relation to workout; it only matters that it is spread about 8hrs apart between doses. I am currently on and don't notice a difference whether I take it an hour pre-workout or 5hrs pre-workout. You could probably take it an hour before workout it you really wanted, but it is highly recommended that you do not dose 3-AD before your second meal as it needs a lot of fat to absorb well and high fat is not good for breaking fast. I am following this advice and am extremely satisfied so far; I am 12 days in and up 7lbs.
Up seven pounds already, thats awesome!
Thanks, but unfortunately it dropped back to +4 from the start. Must have been water retention.
is this alright...eating breakfast, going to the gym 1-1.5 hrs later then having my postworkout shake then taking 3AD with my meal 30 mins after my shake??
