My favorite band(outside metallica) since i can remember has always been the doors. I grew up listening to classic rock through my father.......Led Zeppelin, the doors, molly hatchet, black sabbath, and cream were often played around the house.

I was actually graced to see the doors play in New Haven, CT in 2004.....yes the whole band minus jim. What a freakin' experience it was. Even more-so that jim was arrested there in 1969 in the very same place. Doors fans, tell your tales and post your favorite vids!

When I was really young I can remember my dad locking himself in his room with Riders on the Storm blasting and odd smelling smoke coming down the stairs lol.
Always have been one of my favorite bands too.

lol too bad there isnt much love for the door around here on AM T1 what happened to your musical taste??!! lol jk man Everyoneknows here Metallica's only good song was Enter the sandman and the doors suck lmfao :toofunny:
 
Ah yes the doors, Jim Morrison was one out there guy that wrote good songs. Trauma and I spent a good 3 years straight listening to nothing but the doors.:) My fav songs are riders on the storm, strange days, L.A woman.

About time you showed up!! Yes sir, those were the days. "Waiting for the Sun" and "Roadhouse Blues" are some of my favs.......remember, our house was the roadhouse back in the day bro haha!!

The Doors are def. one of my favorite bands, dunno if they are my favorite since I like so many types of music and it's hard to make comparisons

For some reason everyone calls me a stoner when I mention I like the Doors too lol
