Scissus RX for Osteoporosis?

Is it possible to be used by 68 year old lady for her osteoporosis? is it effective?

Could possibly the best thing ever for bone related degeneration and if my mom or loved one needed it, I would give it to her but ask the doctor first..

Def ask the doc but it has been doing wonders for my Aunt with the same condition. Her doc is actually amazed at the improvement. My sister, who is twelve years older than me, has been struggling with Arthritis and after convincing her to try Cissus is also amazed at the reduction in pain and mobility after only five or six weeks.

It really is an amazing supplement and I am not just pimping our product. I don't care if you use another brand (although I am quite biased toward the quality and sterone balance of our extract) as long as someone is reaping the benefits to improve the quality of their life.

It is most definitely effective for degradative bone disease, as the most legitimate research on Cissus Q., is conducted on osteoblasts (bone forming/remodelling cells); moreover, Cissus' main MOA is the induction of phytoestrogenic steroidal response which mitigates the increased capacity of these osteoblasts. In simpler terms, Cissus increases bone-tissue specific estrogenic activity which plays a primary role in the formation and maintenance of bone. This would be especially beneficial with osteoporosis, a condition characterized by porous bone structure and a lack of calcium.

In clinical trials, via phytoestrogenic activity, and the deliverance of beta carotene, calcium, and other necessary minerals, Cissus was shown to increase bone healing, and improve bone quality!

The only problem is the doctor's have no idea about what Cissus I. I once printed off a study and showed it to my GP about some herbs I took, and left it with her and afterwards she called me back and I had an interesting discussion about herbs. I actually got her to order from NutraPlanet

It's a interesting idea, I'm on Week 6 of giving it to my dad for his old joints/sore ligaments. Still no effect but the first 3-4 weeks he was only taking 2/day, so I'm hoping 4/day will improve the results.
