Classy and competition ready!

Shoulder day:

I tanned 15 min before I went to train with Atomic Meltdown. This is the first time I have used it and went straight to train. I noticed that I was sweating alot more this workout.. I did not get out of the bed hot so I can only assume it was the transdermal properties and a few of the other actives? Either way I seemed to get in a solid 45 min of cardio with this day.

We started out warming up with 15 benches with only the bar as soon as I racked the bar i left my hands on it and did 15 leg lifts for abs. We did 4 sets of this with no pauses.

We then did laying down dumbell presses for 15 and then got up and did 20 bench step ups. 4 sets as always.

Then I did 10 different presses straight into 6 laying flye type things got up and did 20 side to side lunges using a bench to step up on. How many, you guessed it 4 sets;)

We did walkouts and pullovers laying on the bench with a dumbell over the head and dropped it after 15 reps rolled onto the floor and assumed the push-up stance..woohoo..10 push-ups..right back up and started all over for 4 sets.

We did a few other things and man was I tired. I can only assume that the Var is what is giving me these wicked pumps. The 15 walkouts at the end was almost too much. The girl I trained with did 1 walkout and promptly bit it into the floor..ouch! She got a pass to skip it..but she gets to make it up on Thursday!! Glad it was not me:::shudder::


With that said, I am now officially a wuss :(
 
I forgot to mention my favorite thing she had us do. We did the plate drag. We had a 10lb plat and we had to get in push up stance with the plate under our toes and walk on our hands dragging the plate across 1/2 the gym. Then get up and grab the plate and do lunges back. We did this 4 times.

For some reason on the plate drags I had a hard time breathing. I think it was because you had to hold your body ridgid to drag the plate. It really wore me out to do these.
 
I have not been able to find a link. Basically you bend over and touch the floor and walk your hands out to a push up position. Then you walk your hands back in towards your feet to a partial standing position.
 
I hope someone does because thats just one of many thing she has me do that i feel like a total idiot doing;)

As an aside, Matt asked me to test his androgen theory he posted about in the RPN section. So I took what was asked of me about a half hour ago. We shall see what happens in time. Hope to god it does not make me sick during todays back workout!
 
Oh yeah, today whilest showering..I noticed a new muscle , not sure if its the top of an 8 pack or random muscle above my abs. But it appears that the leg lifts using the bench press bar is pulling in muscle across the top of my 6 pack!!
 
diaphragm? (no, not those diaphragm's. I'd hope the guys in this thread are cool enough to be spongeworthy).

I dominated back day. It was a good day. I was able to do everything she asked of me! We even got under the squat rack bar and did reverse pull ups. Which was suprisingly easy considering I've never done them before. We did more of the laying leg lifts supersetted with hyper extensions x 15 and Low rows at 90lbs x 10 for :) 4 sets.

We did single armed rows with cables at 40 lbs an arm x 10 per arm supersetted with pulldowns wide grip at 60lbs x 15 for 4 sets. Then we did double grip rows at 80 x 15 and did a goofy standing pulldown with one leg on the bench and the other on the ground, super wide reverse grip at 60lbs x 15 for 4 sets.

We did other fun things as well. But back day is usually easy for me so I enjoyed it. She even complemented me on the way my body was turning out!!! It was a good day:)
 
Today is arm day and the final day of a week long hell. I think it will also be a cardio day. Then we are going out tonight..lol Stress is high so it will be nice to unwind.
 
Added some taurine in because I've had a wicked back pump for 2 weeks in my lower left side..sick of it. Also added in thyrotabs for now. Arms at 3:45!!
 
Yeah we do the just like pictured. Although sometimes at the end she has us do a pushup before we walk our hands back in.

Arm day was easy yesterday. It was a busy class so she pushed us all to finish faster so the cardio aspect of it was better. I went at the same time as this big powerlifter guy. So he fueled the competitive streak in me. We had to do bench dips with our feet up on the other guys bench so we faced each other while we did them. We had to do 20 of them for 4 sets...I enjoyed the competition ;) We also got to do plate drags to finish. I did much better on these this time. We did alot of curls and tricep pushdowns..all in all it was a good workout.

Well I'm finally feeling pretty good. So I'm going to try to add in Cold Fusion pre workouts. I may have to add this in earlier then before I go because her workouts tend to bother my stomach .

I'm adding in the DCP/Levi stack on a consistent basis starting today. Diet has been off for a few days and its catching up. I'll be taking Lean Extreme for cortisol not sure how I want to do this. Maybe on high stress days or cardsio days only.

I'm also going to try to tan at least every other day. I need to get my life in order so that I can mantain diet at least until the Olympia. Napalm is going in as well or some other topical. I want to cover all angles.

Today is leg day so I highly doubt cardio will be today. Luckily her leg day is incredibly cardio intensive.

Well I survived leg day, barely!

We started out on 6 standing rear kick type things;) using 45 lbs. We then did weighted dumbell lunges from one end of the gym and back again for 4 sets, this was a superset.

Then we did quarter extensions using a pad on the leg extension machine at 55lbs x 15 supersetted with weighted single leg dips 10 per leg for 4 sets.

Then we did full leg extensions for 15 reps supersetted with pop squats for 15 and 4 sets...then on to 30 jumping jack lunges supersetted with pump lunges down the length of the gym..was losing heart control by now:( We finished with 4 sets of 15 for calves...We did other things but can't write it all.. By the timei was done I was out of breath feeling slightly sick and my legs were seriously shaking. I'm getting pumps in the muscles that tie into the top of my knees. Today seemed hard on my lower back and by the pain I feel I'm not sure if I will be walking tomorrow:ntome:
 
LOL well I woke up stiff but not too sore. So I should be good. Which is a good thing because at least one of her workouts in the next 3 days will include some leg work. Thats one of the things that I noticed we do compound exercises that use muscles we worked the day before. I hit failure so much faster doing things with her!! but the cuts are amazing in such a short time. And she never lets you quit or drop out before your set is over.
 
Worked out a little stiffness doing 4 sets of 30 mountain climbers..woohoo football linebacker here I come.

We did an awesome shoulder workout. I could not even lift my arms to get my water off the weight rack when I was done. She was in drill sergeant mode so she pushed hard and with no rest.

It was all pronated lifts to eye level and hard to finish stuff.. I'm glad its done. Nothing exciting to report.
 
I tried a small amount on Monday. It went okay. I still have to try it on a differnt workout though. I think I'm going to start Friday. I'll be out of the gym for 2 days for the kids spring break.

Lol well maybe only 1. The trainer wants me to do a 9am Sunday make-up class. Depends how my Sat goes, I hate getting up early on weekends.
 
Icariin is generall safe for women.

Unfortunately, however, the effects on PDE-5 inhibition is less pronounced in women, for reasons I am yet to understand. :lol: :ewww:
 
Ok I'm back from my trip. We missed training today so she wants me to come in and do a 2 hr session Sunday morning. I think I'm going to try to hit it. We ate horribly so I picked up some fat..that will be my punishment:(
 
Very rough. I'm more concerned however with cortisol levels shooting up after 45 mins. I don't want to tear down muscle in effort to make up days missed. I might hit the gym myself tomorrow ad hit weights and some cardio. Then hit her training Sunday.
 
Yeah she is an awesome trainer. You love her when its over but she drives you hard while you train.

I hit the gym today to make up for arm day. Did the workout myself so it will hold me over until next weekend. I'm still considering the back to back with her tomorrow. But even if I don't get up that early we are going to the gym. So I will do back tomorrow. I did barbell skullcrushers today so that felt good. She does not do the barbell ones so it felt nice to tear them up again.

Weight pretty much held the same so I either lost muscle and gained fat over the three days or its my imagination:)
 
I'm going to hit the Cold fusion tomorrow. I can't bring myself to take much of anything on leg day as it seems to push me on the puke train faster.

I need to try it though. I'm losing my drive. I'm not quitting because I want it. But her level of pain and intensity everyday is getting hard. I know it will pay off though. I need to get diet dialed in better, my appetite is off the hook.

Tonight is leg day.. I've also started the Atomic Meltdown on a regular basis in the tanning bed. I figure some color will make me feel better. But man I'm lethargic, I feel like sleeping all day :(
