AN Log opportunity: HERE!

So, I wake up at 7AM on a Sunday morning in hopes of the testers being chosen. Well, looks like I can pop my Leviathan Reloaded and hit that morning cardio before I hear who the lucky ones are !

Realistically, they must be picked today, right ? lol

Weight: 186
BF%: 10-12% approximately.
Injuries: L5S1 herniation
Supplements: Whey
Goals: Shed excess fat to get faster. Getting stronger and larger are secondary goals at the moment.
Current W/O Plan: 3 days split with legs on Sundays. Typically run about 20 miles a week between rugby and treadmill. Heavy physical activity 7 days a week.
Previous similar supplements: Hot-Rox (several years ago)

Diet: About 2200 calories, 50g fat, 150g carbs, 300g protein. Chicken/Flounder/Salmon, Yams, Oranges, Blueberries, Strawberries, Oatmeal, O3 Eggs, Turkey Sausage, Mixed Vegetables, Whey,

Lifts|All before injury:
Squat: 455
Deadlift: 515
Bench: 285
Chins: 20 at 210#

This is my first application for a log. Since the first of the year a lot has changed for me. Near the end of January I was floating around 210 pounds at probably 19 percent body fat. I was content with the direction I was heading; my squat, deadlift and bench PRs had never been higher. Everything changed on one afternoon. While deadlifting I herniated L5S1 and was out from all physical activity for two weeks.

Since then I've been to several specialists and all concluded the same thing: Stop deadlifting and squatting.

Well, the ban on squatting and DLing changed everything for me. As a rugby player these two lifts were my key to everything. Because of this injury, I had to switch up everything. My first priority was to make myself ready for the spring season, or at least as ready as I could be. To do that, I decided to switch positions (think from linebacker to cornerback). The position switch meant that I needed to change my goals also: from large and powerful to smaller/leaner and much quicker.

Since the second week of February, I've gone from 210 and 19% to 185 and probably 10%.

With my new goals and diet plan I've also replaced almost all leg work with extensive sprinting and running to help get me ready to run the ball instead of crack skulls.

While this probably isn't the typical application, meaning I don't have to lose loads of fat or shed the skinny-fat look, I feel that my situation would be beneficial to AN and readers to show the potency of these products to go from in shape to shredded. Being an athlete (not an 'asthetically motivated' gym rat) this would be a chance to show readers that AN products aren't just limited to gym rats but can also aid seriously in athletic performance and give an athlete that extra edge to add lean poundage while shedding speed killing fat; which is exactly what my goal is.

If it's any additional consolation, I'm a regular surfer (albiet not a huge poster) and have plenty of time to devote to updating a would be log with entries or even action shots. I'm very willing to repay AN for their donations with whatever they ask for. In this case, a very informative log. I can also be pretty entertaining, too.

I've been thrilled about the lack of applicants but I've been wanting to keep it to myself ..

ha. my ass has no money to spend on supps. i put it all into my cars and now im havin to crunch time with school to get enough for any (not that they are a necessity), but i do enjoy them. if i try them adn like them i have influence on the selling of them aka VS (my job)

yea you get free stuff from vitamin shop yous shouldnt even be considered to do a log :lol: and you have a couple of cars so that's even more reason not be conisdered!!:toofunny:

Haha, bro, my apologies, I initially saw 'Texans', not 'Texas' .. I went to the link provided in the e-mail i got regarding an update on this thread, and I didn't keep reading. Lol.

But yes, I feel ya bro, I saw that neighboorhood, and I read how they were HIS cars .. Due to not wanting to hate on a fortunate young man being raised in an upscale neighborhood - because this guy I've personally got nothing against AND he's working for his own money (at least some) - I won't say more. But normally, I'm hating on the preppy/rich, because I've seen some disgusting things in my life .. I'm just saying, I had some kids in my high school driving brand new Escalades as a Junior in high school.. THOSE I HATE ON, YES I DO !!!!!! Spoiled little *****es ! (see, I told ya I had to keep my mouth shut, because I always say too much, hahaha)

I'll run it,
my supplements include only the basics right now, fish oils, creatine, multi. etc. pretty bare minimum, im currently running a log of the 10/10 transformation, which is basically add 10 pounds of muscle, lose ten pounds of fat, i doubt this would have any effect on the supplements, if anything it would enhance the supplments due to the strict/consistent diet (pretty much been eatting the same stuff for the past 8 weeks everyday. little variation)

The past two weeks - since Monday, 3/10 - I have gone from a bodyweight of 240.8lbs down to 224.8 lbs this morning. 30 hours of carbohydrates per week, other than that, I'm doing carb-depletion; hence NO carbs. Doing cardio, RELIGIOUSLY twice per day four times a week, and one cardio session per day on the remaining three days of the week. Doing four full-body routines per week as well.

Even thought I've dropped 16 lbs., I've maintained my strength on all exercises, and even increased my strength on some (which tends to happen everytime I run the U.D. 2.0 somehow ;)).

I'm looking lean and mean, and it's only gonna get better as the weeks go by!!!

(Hope this could potentially have impressed you!)
