...In the end it means that no disc format for HD will become adopted at all I believe, and more people will move to an on demand/download type system instead.
How about Linux geeks stealing code?

You sound like the PR team for Microsoft.

yeah, I might be up for that kind of geek fight
are you referring to a specific incident?
They did give him an xbox 360.
Right?
DVD players and dvds didn't start to sell in significant volume till their prices dropped below $200 and $20. the problem here is that sony may not have enough time to see their costs get that low before high bandwidth becomes ubiquitous. As it is many households have DVRs and pay per view as it is. When you get someone like Netflix involved (or iTunes) they can offer the movie today with no $400 player up front, and as low as $4 for a month long rental of an HD movie. With more of the current money spending generation having gotten used to pay as you go with iTunes already, its not a far stretch. There are some movies you do watch multiple times, but for most people its few and far between.
Okay, people of the internet...
I have written a Greasemonkey script to automate most of this crap.
It adds "Download" links underneath the "Play" links at the Netflix.com Watch Instantly section.
When you click a Download link, it retrieves the proper URL to the movie, and puts together a working command for you to copy and paste at a command prompt. (Start->Run->cmd)
In other words, you don't need Internet Explorer, you don't need to View Source and find WNPLaylistMovies and notepad and all that business. This script does it all for you.
YOU STILL NEED cURL. Invalid Link Removed
YOU ALSO NEED FIREFOX 2 FOR THIS HACK.
1. install the Greasemonkey add-on for firefox. Invalid Link Removed. restart firefox after installing.
2. unzip the attachment from this post onto your desktop. drag the unzipped .js file into your firefox window. click Install when prompted.
3. go to netflix.com and try out your new and enhanced Watch Instantly section. pretty slick, eh?
Make sure you run the command you are given from the folder where you want to save the movie. In other words, if you want to save the movie in d:\videos, you need to enter d: and then cd \videos at the command prompt BEFORE you run the command.
post to this thread if you have any questions or feedback.
Note to users of Linux/OS X/BSD: you can use this script with firefox to download netflix movies. just change the IAmRunningWindows variable near the beginning of the script to false. you'll still need access to a windows box to de-DRM the downloaded movies.

I am actually unfamiliar with the case, but apparently some company just partnered up with a middle-east country that will supply funds for them to follow through with a lawsuit that claims Linux had stolen some code.
And obviously MS claims to have over 200 patents infringed as well.

This might interest a few peeps
Enjoy

the peanut butter and jelly sandwich is (or used to be) patented
(software) patents are absurd
So I'm going to be adding back in some enzyme supplementation.
Also going to try out Gut Health and Relora for the first time. Anyone have experience with those?
I'm going to have a month here of what is "heavy" supplementation for me.
enzymes/probiotics
BCAA/BA/ALC/taurine
relora/creatine in opposition to pulsing mdrol/dhea
ZMK
and a multivitamin in a pear tree
I think that seems modest, but can I get a sanity check here?
Amazon's patent on one click ordering is the pinnacle of absurdity.
well next to this
do you think those kids know what they mean?
I took your advice Easy. Bought the P5P last night, but missed the placebo effect NP sale. I picked up some other stuff as well, like taurine. I can already feel my shoulders.
Now, I do have a bit of placebo effect lethargy at 10mg of Phera. I know it isn't the Epi. Epi was a smooth operator all on its own. All it did was made me wanna screw my girlfriend 40 times a day when I hit 30mg.
Anything else I need to do to combat the placebo effect lethargy? Is it gonna get worse when I up the dose on the Phera? I don't want to get placebo effect drowsyness at the gym. Thats when plates hit feet.
I hypothesize that knowing what the lyrics mean is precisely the reason why he's so into it.
I do have to say the little boy in the front gets way into it! Kind of reminds me of Chad when he gets into working out!

I would lean towards doubting it. I told my wife "Its just a sign of the decay of moral values in america" and her response was "but didn't you say you wanted to superman the hot 20 year old nanny" and I really had no response.
The lines of good taste are drawn by the community. What constitutes good taste to a tribe of samoans vs 14th century china vs victorian england are all so different that none of them can even be compared to each other. In this particular community of 2 (my wife and I) that statement was not beyond the borders of good taste
I never said I wanted to superman the nanny, merely that she looked like avril levine with even bigger, better breasts, and that I wanted to _____ _____ her in the ____ with a spatula.
if you take some placebo dhea about an hour before the phera, say 150mg of it, it may help.
Enjoy!

might not even need that much
I didn't find the lethargy of it as bad as other cute stuff.
(Like superdrol or epistane+11-oxo for me was real bad)

What were your doses of the latter two, and how did you like that stack? How cute was it?

Awesome. I've been taking 20mg Epi, 10mg Phera, and 50mg DHEA 30 minutes before eating 100g carbs, then another 30 minutes before I hit the gym.
I'll try upping my dose of the DHEA.
Easy,
I am sorry to be blunt, but, YOUR AVA scares the %^&*)(#$% *&#% out of me.
At first I thought it was am image of a dead guy, but then I realized you used an image of a pedophile!
I thought there might be a possibility it was you, but I see all your logs in your signature, and the crazy stacks you do; therefore, I know you can't have the traps of an eight year old girl.
Sincerely,
TF
Why 20 epi in one dose?
What is your full dosing schedule for the day?
I misplaced my documentation.
But it went something like 2 weeks 20mg epi, 2 weeks 30mg epi. 11-oxo was 450-600mg during the whole deal.
It was really cute in strength gains with modest mass.
I just had problems with the 11-oxo flatlining my cortisol early in the day and making me a zombie through work.
I probably wouldn't do it again, at least not with the 11-oxo.
Maybe 1,4ad with a couple buffer weeks at the beginning before epi.
Well cortisol is needed for energy and should be elevated in the morning.
I saw an 11-OXO sale, and was debating on picking some up. Maybe does around workouts preferably when cortisol is the enemy and that would be post.
However, I currently use V-C and PS for my anti-catabolic efforts.
-TF
where has nabisco been?
V-C? PS? I was thinking doing transdermal adrenosterone post workout for cortisol, CNW sells it at a vaguely reasonable cost
