It's been 5 years since . . .

I joined AM. I initially thought I'd just be here to gather information but I never thought it would turn into a 5 year addiction :D

I came here to ask about glutamine and I've come a long way in my training because of AM. I initially tried BB.com & Fitness Board (RIP) and it was cool for a while but people started calling you gay for useless things so I tried this site and never looked back.

The people here make all the difference and I even got some helpful job interview tips. I just wanted to start a thread about what keeps you coming to AM so let it out.

Came to AM originally to stop by for some info and bounce, as with other boards. Just stayed here and decided to sign up.
The people are nice here, and the amount of info provided from members are good. Also, some members are quite comedic.

You cant beat the quality of information or the people.. People give respect here, which is something lacking at many other boards.. No flaming, name calling etc, just in jokes.. Good place to be.. And all the talk on cutting edge supplements is something I have never seen on any other forum period..

This board has had some great people. I was introduced from an ols school member Npursuit who we remain good freinds to the day. Even though I had been gone for awhile you all see where I came back to. Just had a real off year.

bump for IT

I ran a search for a review for a certain supplement and found AM. Hell, if you run a search for reviews for supplements, AM is the top place. That speaks volumes!

stumbled across AM myself one day, and have been on ever since. I never thought I'd spend this much time on an online forum.

I originally signed up here to contact Bobo with FLA. Just stuck around because of the atmosphere/wealth of info/quality information on new supplements and quality companies/owners.

I did a search on Google for specific supplements and that's how I came across AM. I must agree that it gets rather addicting. I have to spend a least a couple of hours on here each day.

Wanted to purchase from NP but was nervous of losing my money....how wrong I was :)

I came to AM and found out I'm not the most knowledgeable person in the world, so I had to join.

I was impressed to find how many people here really knew what they were talking about. Not like "other" forums.

Near 3 years myself. Came to find out more about ephedrine (knew some about ephedra - first post was on that).

I've cut back on my time on this board as of late - most folks in this thread probably haven't seen me post much (looking at the joint dates). I'm an admin on a Miami Hurricane board - football and recruiting season takes a lot of time for me.

IW - you and I were the only 49er fans on here.
You my boy.

I come back to help younger people just starting out with lifting and to pass back all that I've gained from the elders before me that have since moved on.
I don't get as involved with you guys that are looking for a bit of PCT help (for example).

Good to hear from the other vet and 49ers fanatic of AM :) I know we're boys, I'll drink to that :drunk:

We got a few more 49ers fanatics so we're not so outnumbered anymore but there were some threads where we had to defend our squad against 5+ posters, the good old days of AM :D

LOL I thought I was a guru because I'd periodically read MD, eventhough I spent more time looking at the models they used to feature, they had some hotties.

I could really tell that the way people described things here was different from other boards. Many were using studies and critical thinking skills in their posts. Avant Labs is the other board where I saw this happening.

I lucked out when I googled "beginner workout" and got an old AM thread. Ever since, it's been where I spend 90% of my free time. Greatest forum I've ever been to!

I am also approaching five years. When i found this board, I wasnt exactly sure I was going to live through my twenties. Finding caring people like B5150 helped me get a tighter reign on my life and me. Training has literally kept me alive. Training smarter has kept me training. :)

I may have came here looking for info on PH's or something, not sure. I may drift away from the board, but I always get drawn back for the annual college football discussions, oddly enough.

I just joined yesterday. This place is pretty cool.
