hey thanks for following pudz! your insight was definitely appreciated bro.

i do not have pre bloodwork to compare to, but at least this will give me an idea how well my PCT came to returning my body to homeostasis. if everything looks good, i'll go ahead and continue with my plan of a cut cycle this summer. if not, well then i will be really mad :rasp: lol
 
okay i'm on day 5 of post cycle. as of right now its consisting of ..

sustain alpha
drive

i'll be adding in igf hopefully next week when i can sterilize some acetic acid. i'm also thinking about adding in some diesel test hardcore just to cover my ass on the test boosting as i've heard nothing but rave reviews about this product. i've also got some cortisol supps on hand if i feel i need them.

so far my weight has stayed exactly the same as its been the whole last half of the cycle and i'm looking slightly leaner. my strength is also the same, if not a slight slight bit stronger than the past two weeks. i've really been eating alot of good food and will continue to to solidify my gains. i'll be damned if i lose anything from what i just went through! overall, i'm very very pleased with my first injectable cycle. i added approx. 15lbs in lbm that i feel i couldn't otherwise have added on an oral only cycle.

i don't really care about my strength gains and how much i lift as much as what i see in the mirror but some of my most impressive increases in my lifts were...

What are you thinking about for cort control? Lean Xtreme and X-Lean both have treated me right. I've been high dosing Vit. C and may do that instead during my PCT. I seem to respond well to cortisol blockers/control so it would be a good experiment.

5x5 routine gets knocked a lot, but damn if it won't make you stronger. I like the 'routine' of knowing my numbers to hit BEFORE I start.

yeah when i did an 8 (or maybe 10?) week hst program back before this i loved going into the gym knowing exactly what i was doing, what order, and what weights i was going to be using. it made me hit all of my numbers too.

I guess I am anal and like the 'known' vs the 'unknown'. I think it makes you push harder and not puss out on those days you just aren't feeling it.

15lb lbm is very very very good in my book. You probably could have waited longer to start cycling but hey, i think 90% of people who cycle do that anyway.

how do you do your power shrugs?

day 8 of post cycle and everything is basically the same so far. i'm not as full looking as i was on 500mg of test ew but that's a no-brainer as to why i'm not. i'm keeping my intensity and weights heavy but have lowered the volume considerably. hopefully my syringe filter and stuff will get here so i can make up some aa this week. although it really doesn't matter because i forgot to add ba water to my cart when i was buying the filter :frustrate:

Just use distilled water from the store. Provided your filter is 0.20micron, filter the vinegar and water together, they will be perfectly sterile.

sorry i was a little unclear. i had planned on doing that... 7.5 parts distilled water, 1 part white vinegar. then push through the .2 whatman filter into a sterile vial. but i don't have ba water to mix with the pre-loaded syringe before i pin at the gym. would i be ok to dillute it (preloaded igf) even further with a separate vial of (sterile) distilled water before i pin or should i just wait for ba water?

Yeah actually a vial of sterile-filtered distilled water would work nicely.
 
deadlifted 325 x 7 today for a new pr and bb curled 105 x 8 today for another pr. how am i getting stronger in post cycle?????
 
okay this is confusing me. i'm losing scale weight it seems, but i am getting stronger. i don't feel as full as i was while on, but i don't feel like i'm any smaller muscle wise. i also feel a little on the lean side. could this drop in weight be the bloat and maybe a little recomping i'm experiencing from the drive and my clean diet?? i'm eating very good, and alot right now. someone reassure me i'm not losing my lbm!!!!! i'm getting worried. i hate the scale

yeah but would water be coming off still? its been 4 weeks this thursday since my last injection.
 
If the strength is going up, whatever you are loosing sure isn't muscle, so it should leave you more defined instead. So a win win situation :D

it's not like i'm all of a sudden super strong when i get to the gym. it's more like a, "if i don't force myself to get this weight up i'm gonna die" mentality i'm using. it seems to be working!

i think it could work either way. Mentally if you can workout just as heavy (maybe not as hard) and keep the intensity up and still feel good. Then you can pretend your not in any kind of PCT and just keep making progress. If you worry you will loose I think. I am taking the first week of PCT off (not only becuase I have injuries and am sick) but because I believe that is when the hormones are most out of whack and why break your body down in the gym if the mechanisms to recover arent in place. I am going towards preservation this week. Lots of food, BCAAs, PCT drugs/supps, etc etc.. and rest.

Then I will begin training light (heavy if i wasnt Fvcking hurt@!) and see where it takes me.

very good advice as always brotha. i'm not even thinking about it anymore i decided. whats the point? i was feeling strong as hell again today in the gym (working sets with my previous pr's-still confusing me?) and thats all that matters. post cycle? what post cycle?? lol oh and i won't be weighing in anytime soon either. theres no point in that. whats it gonna do besides aid in my obsessive compulsive disorder i have with my scale :blink:

on a side note, i am setting up my post post cycle stack. probably gonna be diesel test hardcore, igf-1, creatine mono/beta alanine/cit malate/bcaa's mix, maybe ap (or p-slin), and possibly a cortisol supp although i feel i don't necessarily need one unless i think cortisol problems are arising. anything else you guys think would aid in keeping/making new gains (until my next cycle:twisted:)? i don't want to be on 10 different supps so i'd like to keep it fairly simple and efficient.
 
get something for cortisol imho. Bloodwork shows the rise of cortisol and that cant be good for gains. Id stay cautious.

i'm not on any cortisol support right now. all i have been using is drive, toremifene, and sustain alpha for post cycle so far.
 
well around the 3 week mark the cortisol will be higher than normal... I cant remember whose bloodwork it was, maybe supersoldier...

Gear suppresses cortisol though. It will start to rise in PCT.

High dose (2+g) of Vitamin C works pretty well.

A study done by Stone entitled "Effects of Vitamin C on Cortisol and the Testosterone: Cortisol Ratio" showed a decrease in cortisol levels in 17 junior elite weight lifters. This study also showed that the individuals taking Vitamin C (an extra gram a day) improved their testosterone:cortisol ratio by over 20%. This type of decrease in cortisol can lead to increased muscle and connective-tissue hypertrophy and enhanced recovery from training. Since Vitamin C also decreases your chances of suffering from a cold or flu infection by 30% (14) and may aid in collagen synthesis, it would be wise to take some extra vitamin C when involved in an intense weight-training program.

I agree! take some around workout times too! and before bed. (ok just take it all day.) I take about 2g and its much cheaper than other stuff. (relora would be cool to look into. many people claim its good...others say its junk)
 
remember that vit c is a water soluble and has less than a 2 hr halflife. so 1000mg tabs that aren't time released are a waste. Look for time release, or take smaller tabs a handful of times thru the day.
