which did you like best?

Is it fun or more hassle than what its worth? (to you)

How was New Zealand?

I'm assuming this is directed towards me?

It depends on the assignment. My most recent was Sweden and that was fun because we have significant downtime due to the client having issues at their manufacturing facility. And I always enjoy seeing a place, trying new food, and seeing different cultures. But sometimes it can be a drag because you don't get to see anything. New Zealand was pretty cool, I was only there for a short bit when I lived in Australia. We took vacations to Tasmania, the Great Barrier Reef, and New Zealand. Cool places, but I was younger so I'd love to go back and check things out now that I can appreciate them more.

From the USA,

Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, Austria, Lichtenstein, Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China (only Shenzhen, though). Also traveled through Luxembourg and Holland, didn't stay though.

Hong Kong is definitely the most interesting of all those, Switzerland was the most beautiful. I'd strongly recommend visiting Asia if you're looking for a place to go, I enjoyed Asia much more than Europe, and it is WAY cheaper. Awesome food for dirt cheap price... Although I had to be careful outside of Hong Kong because the regulations are not so good. I plan to return next Summer and go further into Mainland China, maybe visit Taiwan as well.

which did you like best?

Thats a tough one because each one has its own things I like about it. And I'm the adaptable type that can learn to like just about anywhere.

Probably England since I stayed there longest. But oustide of that, I LOVE Austria! Especially Vienna!!

I'd have to say I DIS-liked Italy the most, Venice to be exact. You can't sit in any of the public squares without an armed guard telling you to move, you gotta pay to use any bathroom, the place smells like mildew... plus it was my 10th day of a 15 day Europe trip and I'd only slept in hostels and on trains so I was grumpy/dirty/tired. Rotenburg, Germany was awesome though!

yeah Venice was expensive. As I went down the road, the closer I got to St Marks (piazzo san marco) the more expensive a bottle of water became.

Its almost like it costs you money to walk there. And the only way to get some places is gondola.

But I was grateful they had an American Express office there, after I fought my way through the pigeons!

I pretty much just drank alcohol in Europe since it was about $2-3 cheaper then a soda or water (no one drinks water in Europe) Woo-hoo Jagermeister!

I went to Chicago once...:ntome:
