I recently took a sample of this pre workout and the effects were very strange...

at first it was fine, felt normal, after about 30-45 minutes into my workout I start getting this very euphoric, almost "high" feeling, kinda light headed like, calm and sorta relaxed...not exactly the feeling I want while working out but it was alright...

i'm wondering what chemicals gave me this response? I'm just curious, i'm also wondering if any other preworkout stims include these chemicals because I have never before encounter these effects and I've tried a LOT of preworkout stims
 
Amp and StimX v1 both did that to me. I love that feeling.

I think it's the geranium that gives that feeling.
 
There's some chemicals in StimX that block inhibitory neurotransmitters and enzymes. If you look at the ingredients list on the label, its one of those funky sounding extracts near the bottom. Not sure if they're what causes the "trip". It's probably from a combination of things.

I don't think there's many (if any) products out there quite like stimX. It's a very unique blend, as I'm sure you've noticed. It's also not really a pre-workout stim, as everyone calls it. It's designed to be a fatburner and "pick-me-up" stimulant. You can use it pre-workout, but it's active life and potent nature go beyond the realms of a pre-workout.

I've gotten this sensation before as well. If you only take 1 cap at a time, until a tolerance is established, you will not run into the problem anymore.

That's a good point. 2-amino-4-methylhexane is very amphetamine-like. In fact, when Amp was first brought to the market, the Washington post made allogations that PA was selling meth.

Man - that first bottle of Amp I had was pure GOLD!

Loved that stuff. Felt great and was able to sleep.
First StimX bottle - felt great and no sleep.

Amp was pre-WO - StimX obviously not (as you mentioned).

That's where I liked Amp. I could take it as I leave work at 5pm and still get to bed at 10pm.

(Now - subsequent bottles of Amp sucked major balls. But that's another story...)

When is StimX v3 coming out, Sin??

You say it like it's a bad thing. :) It's designed to be versatile like that. A stimulating energy booster with good nootropic and mood enhancing effects combined with appetite suppression. Try taking it 1.5-2hrs before the w/o next time, then you get over that initial wave of euphoria and the focus sets in better.
 
Right...what he said! Same experience a few weeks ago. Popped 2 pre and was jazzed for a little bit, then lost it. The rest of the evening was pleasant, though! I like Stim X best in the morning - 2 with a cup of coffee. ;)
 
Technically, it's already out! ;) Aren't we on V3 already? Perhaps there was a v1.1 or something...

V3 (or 4, whatever) sounds g-o-o-d... :D :D :D
 
Yeah it sure would be nice to have it soon. Most cuts start after the first of the year, I would think it would be the perfect time to release it. I know I'd claim a few bottles!
 
I would imagine this to come out at an opportune time of the year (i.e. January or early spring at the latest). No sense putting a product on the shelves only to collect dust for a few months before being sold. That doesn't tend to do a good job in justifying the costs of production. Not saying this is what's gonna happen, but typically the time you would expect a product like this to come out.
