this morning's workoutwas nice, although it sounds pretty wussy, I hit 135lbs on barbell bench presses today for a working weight, which is a high for a loose barbell for me.
I enjoy it mostly because I know it will be good for me.
I can verify that choline powder smells like butt
not sure what butt tastes like, but(t) choline tastes pretty bad
tastes similar to acetyl l-carnitine
both are tolerable if you dilute them enough

I hate taking a week off. I enjoy lifting, but I enjoy the camaraderie even more.

It is not about the weight you use.
I know I get peeved when I can't hit a certain weight, but is all about resistance and stimulating muscle fibers.
So, don't worry about the weight. Focus on the form and contraction.
I believe in HS our coach wanted us to do our BWx10.
And double our BW for squats.

I knew I was going to need it for my next workout, but looks like I am going back to plan B, because I got my testee bottle yesterdee...
I am settled now on changing workout routines every 4-8 weeks(but a 12 week routine that incorporates its own variances in the 12 weeks is fine like PRRS or some of the others), and taking 1 week off every 12. it seems very workable

Keep in mind that BB Benching is a lot about technique as well.

Yeah it looks better too. Throwing up 100lb dbs than benching a two plates. Now if I could 315, it would be a different story...
I guess thats a piece of why I want to do a cycle, is I'm close to working out with weights i'd feel good about. Its silly, but really bodybuilding is more about our self images than anything I think. But i'm feeling better about form now for sure.

After my six year break, I was weak as fcuk, and it was quite discouraging not being able to lift the weights I once did, or even come close....
Hang in there, the weight will come up. If not, then either you are not creating enough stimuli or not recovering properly.
In HS these were box squats so about parallel.
