I cant' stand either the Yankees or Red Sox, there should be the option to choose neither or any other team but those two on the poll. I would gladly take the Devil Rays or Royals over those two. But I was laughing my ass off when the Yankees lost the series. No more Torre or A-Rod, :icon_lol:

Wow. Amazing. Ok lemme break it down. The Rockies will win in 6 games. This means they will win the series 4-2. Got it? Besides, they haven't lost a game in the playoffs and have won 21 of their last 22 games. They're smoking hot and their defense and pitching are outstanding. It should be a good series regardless.

They've also been sitting on their asses for a week doing nothing but getting cold.

Last time the Sox did this, everyone said "The Cardinals are unstoppable, yadda yadda, blah blah. Red SOx are tired after a 7 game series with the Yankees. Blah blah." Then the Sox went and smoked the Cardinals 4 games straight.


There's no telling what will happen.

And..... so are the sox, so what's your point? Do you honestly think the rockies have more depth in their starting rotation and bullpen than the sox? The red sox have argueably the best pitching staff in baseball....period. I give congrats to what the rockies have done to get to the world series, however they didn't even remotely play the caliber of teams the sox did in the playoffs and that's a fact..... look at the overall stats. The national league has long been owned by the american league and that won't change in this world series with the sox having home field advantage. Yes the rockies have a good team, but boston simply has more weapons and balance to their team that is simply too dynamic and will overtake the rockies in the end. It will be a good series, but sox in 5 games.....

Exactly.....i would rather play a seven game series and be in a groove than have a week off and get flat. That's exactly what happened to the cardinals in 2004 and they were convincingly sweept in 4 games as a result......

This is what I worry about. It doesn't help that they're traveling to Boston for the first two games of the series either. With Beckett no doubt starting game one.

Good points, but history doesn't mean sh!t. It's about who's hot now. Both teams are super hot right now so It could go either way in my opinion. It just seems that everyone is jumping on the Sox bandwagon (that or everyone here is a Sox fan). So I thought I'd jump on the Rockies bandwagon. And I love rooting for the underdog. Go Rockies!

I've been a sox fan since i could basically speak. They've broken my heart many times over the years, so don't be so quick to call anyone a "bandwagon" fan. Anyway, I look forward to the series....GO SOX!!!

I'm a Giants fan. I'm only rooting for the Rockies because they're the underdog and they have NEVER been to a WS before, I could go without seeing the Red Sox winning another WS, and I'm tired of the AL kicking the sh!t out of the NL. In the end though, I could give a sh!t less. I just want to see some good baseball and I think that we will.

Sh!t, I'd take A-Rod any day. 30 mil is worth it. And I guarantee, if he signed with the Red Sox, you Red Sox fans would love it! Don’t lie. The guy is an amazing ball player.

I agree he is a great ball player,but if he were to come to Boston, he 's got to stop sucking in the post-season.Its weird how he can do all that damage in the regular season,but come playoff time,it seems like he shuts down.
Post season numbers: 05: .133 avg. 0 HR,0 RBIs(yuck)
06: .071 avg. 0 HR 0 RBIs(yeah, thats not even 100)
07(a little better)1 HR,1 RBI .267 avg.

In the regular season he is money.
