BCAA's help

Hey all was just wondering when the best time to take BCAA's is?? I have heard during and I have heard Before and after your workout??? Thanks
 
All of the above. I mix about 30 grams of BCAAs into a gallon jug and just start sipping on my way to the gym and then all the way through my workout and continue after my workout.
 
I mix my bcaa's with hydrating drink and that is 50 grams of bcaa's with electrolytes. Awesome stuff.
 
BCAAs = the more the better, day or night.
 
Weren't you saying that you take BCAAs in the middle of the night if you wake up?

Yep...if I get up to pee, take a few swigs to stave off catabolism.
 
whats the point of bcaa over any other protein when taken at non workout times? if anything it seems that the equivalent weight of protein from other sources is better because it is not digested instantly. bcaa are also very insulinogenic.

i think the best thing to do is load up on bcaa around workouts and regular protein the rest of the time. casein in the middle of the night would be better than bcaa.

Well they would pass through the system quite rapidly. If it is not necessary, I would use a whey blend or casein because of their slower absorption.
