UPDATE:

Legs today. SLDL 205x5, 205x6, 205x5 (same weight as last week but a few more reps.

My hamstrings were burning at the end of this workout, so that is good!

Diet has been anything but stellar today. Had a business meeting and the only choice was the boxed lunch they brought in. :( I had tunasalad, though, so i kept the protein somewhat high and then some beefjerky on the drive home.

those are some killer SLDLs bro !! my hamms get destryoed from my 1 set i do my legs are still totalyl in pain from my squats the other day everything is really sore when i sit down otherwise i dont feel any pain or discomfort just act of sitting down im like o hi legs

IMO SLDL's aren't really an exercise where you're focussing as much on the weight. Keeping a strict form with a slow, controlled motion to focus the strain on your hams is the only way to do for building hamstrings.
 
So Mace how are you doing stat wise with this. Leaning out, building muscle?? I can't wait to see the new you at the Arnold.

a little bit of both, right now........

I will post updates on sundays, pic updates each month.

The main goal is to build and then cut around january or so in prep for the arnold.
 
i'm kinda playing it by ear........
i'm thinking next week, but i may wait another week.

I am doing good right now, with no supps, so i feel like i am re-enforcing the idea that things can be done WITHOUT them and then once i have EVERYTHING down pat (diet and trianing) then hit up the supps to give me that added "edge"

UPDATE:

Back/Tri's today.

My back and traps are very sore right now. That is good. I always wonder if i could push harder or not immediately after my workout. When i get sore within 5 hours or so of my workout, i know i hit it good.

seated cable rows: 200x8, 200x5, 200x5
skull crushers: 55x4, 55x4, 45x4 (my form was suffering, so i lowered the weight. I was flaring one of my elbows and i like to keep them in.)

Diet has been good today so far. only 2 more meals to go.

I think i am gonna start adding some pre-workout stims in again. I need that extra edge in the morning.
 
UPDATE:

I played soccer with the kids yesterday at the end of practice.......boy was I winded!

OFFDAY today. Spent the day at home with the youngest one. Diet was good, no cheats.

metabolic cardio day tomorrow and metabolic upperbody on Sunday!

SUPPLEMENT(S) UPDATE:
After discussing with Heath and thesinner, I will be adding Beta-Alanine in the form of IntraXcell and then followed by Incarnate. I will also add Controlled Labs WhiteFlood for the energy and additional BA thats in it. SesaGlow is on its way and I will also add some CLA and Sesamin in.

ahhhh coolio didnt know dat, ive been doing cardio on and off and sweat like a mofo all day long anyway even cut out lots of carbs and i dont seem to be getting leaner its driving me nuts. not using any fat burners or stuff like it sometimes i have green tea pills before meals

figure out how many cals you are consuming.......you may not be cutting ENOUGH out, and/or do cardio MORE often........

12 inch Double stacked Roast Beef sandwich from SubWay on Wheat bread with lettuce, tomato, black olives, onions, banana peppers, pickles, mustard and light mayo. MMMMMMMMMM! :food: 6 inches pre-workout and 6 inches post.

Some reason of why not much change is you are gaining lean mass now! No change is BF% or weight can be due to a lot of Variables but from what i am hearing and seeing from you its due to slight increase in LBM!! Which is what we are shooting for!
KEEP IT UP BIG DOG!!!

HIT THAT METABOLIC HARD TODAY! THEN REST TOMORROW!!

finished the metabolic training for today. It was INTENSE. did more sit-ups even though they are sore, figure, might as well demolish them!

rest tomorrow. Diet has been great today and the BROWNS WON! :woohoo:

Today is second day of BA dosing. I get that warm-prickly sensation all over. It kinda freaks me out. I start a fish oil, CLA, Sesamin stack as soon as i get my sesamin (SesaGlow). I have a new White Flood on order for increased energy and BA consumption.
 
Other than the warm feeling how is the beta alanine working for you? Does it make you feel sick at all whilke you workout?

no i haven't notced that at all. i don't think it is fueling hte workouts or notice any additinal benefits yet. But, they say it takes a week to two to really set-in.

I didn't really notice it "working" either, and I took it for a few months straight. I've been off it for a couple weeks now, and I def. notice it "not-working". :sad: That's my seal of approval for BA right there.
 
BA to me seems a lot like creatine - how i'm never really sure if it's helping or not. but the research backing it looks good.

i never got any tingly feelings either. maybe once when i tippled my dose i felt a little something.

I was the same on Cordyceps5 from MST. I didn't notice while I took it, but damn, cardio changed completely once I stopped
 
carnosine works as a buffering agent against Lactic acid.

You know that burning sensation you get when your doing a lot of reps? That's caused by an acidic proton accumulation from lactic acid buildup, which locally decreases your pH levels.

Carnosine will essentially "eat" the protons, leaving the lactate anions to do their "thang". Believe it or not, the lactate ion is important in muscular metabolism, and the big reason lactic acid gets such a bad wrap is because of its acidity.

BA supplementing is going good and i have also added the fish oil and CLA in. Sesamin is still on its way.

I have also looked into Swell and Blast per BJ's suggestion.

Yeh man, I absolutely am in love with the Swell/Blast combo.

The energy/explosiveness/endurance all just feels so incredibly clean...its nice.
 
UPDATES:

Wednesday was an OFF DAY.
Yesterday was legs. I also got sick after working out. I had changed up my workout cocktail (added poseidon, taurine, and 2 scoops WMS) I am thinking it was because of these changes. Stayed home most of the day.

It seems to be lately that everytime it is leg day, we decide to play soccer against the kids. :frustrate So i can barely walk today. it was 3 adults against 10 eight year olds playing full field soccer.

Today was chest/shoulders/Bis.
workout was killer. I use this adjective quite a bit, but there really isn't much more of a better way to describe them. I am in the zone and hitting the weights hard. This whole week has been TUT. My Biceps were so pumped, that i could barely wash my hair after my workout! :head:

straight bar curl: 90x4(10sec rest)x4(10sec rest)x4. two sets like this immediately followed by hammer curls with 3 sec eccentric movement.

Diet has been great. although, i broke down and have added a certain "supplement" into my arsenal and had to add additional carbs in as it forces the glycogen into the muscles. I am only doing 3 weeks of it at 20mg to get a good jump on the game. I am planning a killer stack for my cut in jan/feb!
