Yeahright's X-DREAM Log

DOSING #8

DOSAGE: Two capsules on an empty stomach at 9:30pm for both the wife and myself.

CONTEXT OF USE: Sleep.

EFFECT: Extremely vivid dreams for both of us. Refreshing but not necessarily deep sleep. Didn't wake-up feeling groggy or anything. Just good-solid rest.

great info yeahright, how does it compare to melatonin?

Well, I guess that would depend upon a lot of things. People take crazy doses of melatonin but the latest studies show that it is most effective (without side effects) at sub-milligram doses. When I take melatonin, I take .25 mg. It doesn't have any obvious relaxation effects but I sleep deeply and wake-up refreshed (no melatonin hangover).

I've been using X-DREAM mostly as a recreational relaxant and then enjoying the related sleep effects.

Comparing the two, I guess I would say that my sleep is "livelier" on X-DREAM than melatonin. What I'm saying is that I have more vivid dreams and remember them in the morning whereas I often don't remember dreaming at all on melatonin.

I've just ordered another X-DREAM bottle so I can continue to play around with different combinations.

On a related note: X-DREAM is not nearly as sedative as Neurobalance (at 1 tsp) for relaxation purposes. In my body at least, the Neurobalance hits me hard whereas I just seem to slide into a relaxed X-DREAM state. Both are great products but they aren't interchangeable IMO.

Yes, food does seem to delay onset, but not net effect.

DOSING #9

DOSAGE: Two capsules on an empty stomach at 6:00pm for both the wife and I.

CONTEXT OF USE: Relaxation

EFFECT: Took the capsules then made dinner. About an hour later I was laying on the couch listening to the wife talk about something when I felt really "high"....meaning spacey headed and not wanting to move off the couch. I said something about it and my wife said that she wasn't really feeling anything. I got up off the couch and gave her 100mg theanine. Two hours later she was sound asleep and I was lazily looking at Alienware laptop computers on the web (dreaming of how I would spend the technology stipend my employer is about to give me).

DOSING #10

DOSAGE: Two capsules on an empty stomach at 8:00pm for both the wife and I plus 1/4 tsp 84% kavalactone paste.

CONTEXT OF USE: Relaxation

EFFECT: Had a nice relaxed groove as we watched Children of Men. Great movie btw.

DOSING #11

DOSAGE: Three capsules (50% higher than recommended dosage) on an empty stomach at 8:00pm.

CONTEXT OF USE: Relaxation

EFFECT: Cruised into a nice sleep that was long and uninterrupted. Took me a couple minutes of listening to the clock radio before I mustered up the willpower to get out of bed int he morning but there was no hangover other than that.

DOSING #12

DOSAGE: One capsule (half recommended dosage) at 11:00pm.

CONTEXT OF USE: Sleep

EFFECT: Solid sleep with vivid dreams. No noticeable drowsiness but once I tried to sleep I went under quickly.

DOSING #13

DOSAGE: Three capsules (1.5 recommended dosage) at 9:00pm.

CONTEXT OF USE: Sleep

EFFECT: Slept for 11 hours. No hangover when I awoke. Vivid dreams.

Looks solid.

Yeah, have you used Lean Dreams and if so, how does it compare? So far for me, it's been one of the stronger herbal sleep supps yet, but if X-Dreams beats then I'm all over both of them.

I always seem to get insomnia in the fall for some reason.

I haven't tried Lean Dreams. As to the fall insomnia, perhaps its a reaction to the changing sunlight? Your body is kicking out some adrenaline to try and compensate...or other neurochemical disruption?

Bio, I think Lean Dreams has mel in it too so that makes sense, it should do well for seasonal insomnia specifically.

DOSING #14

DOSAGE: Two capsules at 10:00pm.

CONTEXT OF USE: Sleep

EFFECT: Solid night's sleep. This was the tail end of a vacation so I had some anxiety about returning to work. This helped calm the anxiety and put me to sleep.

DOSING #15

DOSAGE: Two capsules at 9:00pm.

CONTEXT OF USE: Sleep

EFFECT: Deep restful sleep with vivid dreams. This product seems to have a very consistent effect upon me.

OMG this thread came back to life!!!

I've been working a lot...and also not needing to take a sleep aid consistently....plus my experience with the product is pretty consistent...so it's kinda boring. :)

Lucky you. I built a tolerance to xdream fast.

Are you taking the 2-3 days off every now and then? Not taking it past ten days continously Met?

Good Log YR. I enjoyed reading this, nice format.

Much Love,

Neoborn

Just bought 2 more bottles. Stuff works for me.
Trying not to take it all the time.

Had an awesome dream the other night. Won tickets to the Vanhalen reunion tour at MSG, and they called me up on stage...
Ok, maybe it's not the type of dream some of you have described on this stuff, but was still fun. Just kept my sheets a little cleaner than yours...

DOSING #16

DOSAGE: Two capsules at 9:30pm.

CONTEXT OF USE: Sleep

EFFECT: Deep restful sleep with vivid dreams. I'd forgotten about the vivid dreams this product gives me.

OK, I kinda slacked off on this log but I just finished my bottle. My wife took them on-and-off as well.

In summary, this was a very solid product which provided consistent effects (deep sleep combined with vivid dreams). I spaced things out to avoid any potential tollerance issues and didn't experience any.

This product doesn't knock one over the head and put one to sleep. It lulls a person into gentle slumber. I will be buying more.

My friend has a broken back and spinal discs disintegrating. This equals him being in pain alot, which comes and goes, and also him getting very little sleep.

He also has sleeping meds to help him get some kind of sleep.

Well he tried X-Dream out and gave me this report:

My Friend
"I popped a couple about an hour before bed and noticed a very soothing / calming effect. It then allowed me to relax enough to go to sleep. I went to sleep and woke up to go to the washroom halfway through the night. I didn't have that stoned / drunk / groggy feeling I have with the Rx meds. I didn't have a hard time going back to sleep either. I dropped right back to sleep. They were great!"

My Wife
"I took one about an hour before bed and my eyelids got really heavy. I was alert but my eyelids got really heavy. I think dozed off"

Much Love,

Neoborn
