So should I postpone my cycle? I could do xfactor instead, even get in that combo logging opportunity. Of course it means no fish oil megadosing :D

I do like the idea of ballooning up fast and adding strength fast with revolt tho

How long have you been trying to change your physique through manipulation of diet and exercise so far?

I'd say to have at least 2 years experience with finding what works for you in both cutting and bulking routines. That's also a good time to really learn how to be patient with your exercises and concentrate on getting the right technique for the ones that matter. I think after about 2 years, everything gets to be second nature and the cycles should be much more effective once incorporated.

I know it took me that long to learn how to do things properly.

I've only been really serious for about 9 months. I'm having good results, I'd just like to kickstart it and make a jump to the "next level". This last few weeks was my first bulk in my life :)

Yeah, it sounded like you were making excellent progress, and actually still are these last few weeks. I can't recommend "enhancing" if it's the case that you're still making big changes to your physique through diet and exercise manipulation. I say do at least one more "cut" and "bulk" phase without any enhancement.
 
Yeah, i was starting to think that if I can get such good results from what I am doing, why fudge with hormones yet? I can save them for when I am at 8% bf @ 220 and having a hard time going up :D I guess the one thing is that I feel like I am working with light weights, could use a boost in strength

at 200lbs and 15% bf, I had a lean mass of 170. right now at 215, assuming same bf (which it seems like from vascularity, definition, etc), I'm at around 182 for lean mass. so If I can drop back down to 198 (my recent low) without loosing muscle, I should hit under 10% bf

Yes, that sounds right, but you're still assuming your current bodyfat %. Do you have some way to measure it for sure? You can get calipers pretty cheaply.

Also, some anabolics would definitely help increase your muscular strength pretty rapidly, but are you prepared to suffer some of the difficulties that will put on your joints/ligaments/tendons?

I've got calipers, I come up in the same range as i was in at 198, around 14-16%. I'm going to do a bodpod as well actually, but not till Oct 22nd

The tendons question was a piece of why I've gone with Revolt (max lmg / x-mass) as a compound as from all I can tell the wetter compounds bother people less with that, and in general people say recovery is also better with it than most other anabolics.

I'm definitely teetering at this point, I guess I can see where I land over the next 4 weeks. An Xfactor + drive cycle would be quite nice :)

If I recall this is pretty much the first time you have hit teh weigths correct?

Like Wil said about 8000 posts ago. It is also about tendon strength. Nothing will hault your gains faster than an injury.

first time in 20 years yeah. I guess I should go for the xfactor combo logging opportunities then, hopefully get x-factor + drive :D and save hormones for another year.
 
So all of you in xj's clubhouse concur that I should wait rather than jump into hormones yet?

Hmmm...being in the same age group :D I have to say that hormonal "supps" are best suited for guys "our" age not the 20 year olds that seem to be the ones popping M1T like tic tacs. However, I agree that you should exhaust your alternatives. With that said, I wanna run Furazadrol and Epi!
