P-SLIN and AP has alternatives to Glucophage

I have been experimenting with replacing my rX glucophage with P-SLIN and AP. My question is which of the two would most likely resemble glucophage? Also, if PSlin is the better/stronger option, would multiple daily doses of that work well as opposed to the AP? Thanks guys, and Jacob, holler at me...

If you are looking for multiple servings per day, then Anabolic Pump would be the way to go. P-Slin is best used once per day, and preworkout.

Sorry for momentarily hijacking the thread, Max, but why is it that P-Slin should only be used once a day?? I don't understand the concept behind that.

Mostly its a strength thing, and carb intake thing :)

P-slin is strong enough that most people feel hypoglycemic if they take in under 60-80g of carbs with it, and recommendation is at least 100g. Takes a little work to stuff that much in oats down multiple times a day. plus its effect does seem to last for hours as it is, I know I could tell and get some of the "pump" from eating carbs again 6 hours later.

for one it's expensive, and from a metabolic standpoint it shuttles Mass amounts of carbohydrates. We need to shuttle the carbohydrates early or pre workout so the energy can be used.

I do not see a reason why to use Pslin at night, but if you are on "other" supplements and bulking and can afford to use 3 times a day, I say try it but Anabolic Pump is more suited for that scenario.

Both are better than glucophage from the stand point that it dose not need insulin to work so fat storage is not a concern.

Anabolic Pump/Pslin stack is the closest thing to using synthetic insulin without risk of death or getting bloated and gaining adipose tissue.

Both is the best scenario.

Hmmm okay this dude needs a REP at USP.

AP helps a lot when taking in low carbs. I mean in terms of fat loss. It seems to work a lot better after using it for a few weeks with extremely low carbs. A lot of people that feel they don't respond well to AP should try it like this first. Sorry to semi-hijack the thread but I thought I would add this information...

The use of this supplements can induce or prevent the appearing of diabetes?
Do you have studies to backup?

It surely helps reduce the negative symptoms of diabetes. Glucophase dose not prevent it helps manage it.

That particular claim was never made. Jacob was alluding to the properties of AP/P-Slin associated with increased glucose metabolism at the cellular level; in this sense, and not a preventative or curative sense, AP is the closest glucose shuttling mechanism to synthetic Insulin.

Relevant studies/info have been plastered all over the boards by Jacob, myself, regular members, and reps, thought I would gladly dig again if you wish.

If you lower glucose, you give your pancreas a break, which means that if you use it properly, the "sugar spikes" will be dimished to a minimum, which means it's healthier for your pancreas. Diabetes is often caused by poor diet and high intake of high GI carbs. I can only understand why this can only help.

i like to use both especially when eating crappy foods like pizza, fast food, etc......i am using p slin in the am and pre workout and AP 3 times at morning noon and night.....i am loving it:bb:

Not that I don't think these sups are effective, but replacing a doctor prescribed medication with an over-the-counter supplement is not wise in my opinion. You should talk to your doctor before going off any prescribed medicine.

He is not using it for medical purposes..

Yeah, I can too depending on the carbs. but trying to do all oats as USP recommends is painful :)

Tell me about it...
Im eating 550-600g carbs a day. Pretty much 80% oats, 1.5 cups at a time with a class of milk and maybe a little maple syrup...

Good lord, that's a lot of carbs. I wish I could pull that off.

Dude, eating that many carbs sucks ass!! Some days i just wanna give up...lol

thinking about it, i'm well over 400g so far today post lunch, but 250 of it is maltodextrin, and 50 is sugar.

Well it sounds like fun now, compared to my half cup of oats/day. :)

i just had 1.5 cups oats, 1 cup milk, 4oz chicken...goddamn im full...

I just had a slice of 9 grain bread, a cup of orzo with a few tablespoons of olive oil, 2 7oz cube steaks in mushroom soup sauce. I think I broke 4k calories for the day finally
