Back in the gym today after a brief time away due to work and a few family type obligations. My wife and I will be going to the gym tonight for some upper body stuff and I completed some quad training with a co-worker this morning. Nice routine he picked up from a local bodybuilder he knows. It was all about volume today.

    Pre Supps:
    Hemavol/Unleashed/BCAASAA/Taurine/CreaTrona

    Post Supps:
    Iso-Ology

    Training:
5 mins incline warmup on treadmill

    Leg Extensions
    115x15x1
    115x25x2

    Squats
    115x15x1
    95x30x2

Leg Press Machine (I do not recall the weight we used)
    25x2

    Single Leg Extensions
    40x25x1
    50x25x1

That workout today sucked! All those damn reps burned like crazy and I was stretching constantly in between sets. My arms and shoulders were getting tired holding the bar in place for song long while having to complete all those squats. When I got home I put some ice on my left knee that likes to have an attitude from time to time just as a precaution. Looking forward to the upper body stuff tonight with my woman. Should be good times!

All the measurements were taken cold and we got our body fat using our digital scale. I know its not accurate but as long as it reads a number that is consistent for us then we'll know if there is progress. I'm a little concerned we didn't do our measurements correctly so in the next week or so I will have it checked by someone else.

It was terrible. First it feels easy because the weight is so light then all the burning starts and there is plenty more reps to go. The training felt like punishment.

This is going to be a wack post. I went to the gym with my co-worker again this morning to do back and I should have posted about it earlier because now I cannot remember hardly anything detailed about it. There was some pull downs going on, rows, to many damn pull ups (I remember that garbage), one arm pull downs... yaddah yaddah. The training was quality though so I can't complain that work wasn't done.

Then tonight my wife and I went to the gym later this time to attempt getting in after the just got off work crowd. The traffic in there was better but still not good enough. We began on an adjustable bench doing curls, shoulder press and incline chest press circuits but we had to move. To many doodz walking in front of us grabbing dumbbells and I was just getting irritated. We moved over to cables and got more bicep work in with good ol fashion pushups. After that was done we moved to another set of cables for cable crossovers. I love those! Finished up the evening doing shoulder press and chest press using machines and various cables. All the muscle groups we wanted to target got done even though it was an all over the place training night.

Update on the supps I'm using. Switched over to FinaFlex's new Multi and I ditched taking iForce's Fish Oil. Nothing wrong with it, just don't feel like taking more pills and spending any more money on it. I'm going to take a few weeks off PX Black and T-2 for now also. Today is my second day/night using PCT Revolution and I'll use it for the next 4 weeks. Hopefully I get some gains from it. G8 and BCAA/SAA before bed on days I feel like I need it still prove to be effective. I'm only using that on those hard training days when I have time to get a full 8 hrs. Iso-Ology is my stomach's protein of choice. Drop half a frozen banana in there and tastiness happens.

    Great update.

Cycling off of the thyroid boosting type supps is a good practice just like testosterone boosters. The body will eventually get used to other then natural stimulation of the gland and could stay working at a reduced level. Good choice.

The Rev PCT should be a perfect fit here during this time. Stacking with Pure Test would be ideal but alone it will still produce a change in body comp from lowering estrogen and simultaneously raising testosterone.

Yes it was dry rubbed, we don't eat much fried chicken around here. Fried chicken and cornbread does sound so good right about now though.

That would work. Take the Rev PCT before bed on an empty stomach. I take daa upon waking but if you experience stomach problems like some do with bulk daa then split the dose half in the morning half in the afternoon.

Just me all alone this afternoon/morning for some hamstrings and chest work. This time of the day is so much better than going at night. I could actually move around in the place and use whatever I wanted.

    Pre Supps:
    Hemavol/Unleashed/CreaTrona/DAA

    No Post/Intra Supps

    Training:

    Stiff Leg Deads
    95x10 warmup
    115x10
    135x10
    155x8

    Lying Leg Curls
    80x12
    95x12
    110x6

    Alternating Lying Leg Curls
    40xFailx3 = Failure reps 8-11

    Leg Press/ Feet Positioned High
4,6 and 8 plates to Failure so 3 sets

    Standing Cable Chest Raise
    22.5xFailx6 = Failure reps 14-6

    Standing Cable Chest Fly
    12.5xFailx4 = Failure reps 12-5

Finished up with 3 sets of Burpee Pull-Ups/ 12 reps

Burpee pull-ups always end up with a few people starring at me. Nobody ever does them there so I guess I'm the odd man out. Now its time to kill this sandwich, take my vitamins and get ready for work!

yes - without knowing that he is in a very strict portion of contest prep, and is trying to be very aggressive to pull out all stops and get ahead of the game...this quote, and that meal, seems a little odd and easily taken out of context

but then, that is why this is YOUR thread noosh, not his to post what he plans on having for a carb-up tonight....
and why it is bad form to talk about yourself in almost every single thread you choose to post in

carry on good sir - I am glad to see you are still on your mission, much respect for your commitment and dedication - not that I had any doubts, simply credit given where credit due

Thanks for the compliment Snagz, its very appreciated to have encouragement. Some of the things I've seen people have to eat on AM has been a lesson for me. Scary stuff happening on many plates across the world!

Yeah some people have no creative side. With a little bit of thought there are tons of healthy options, but, in our society today as a whole the easiest road is the one most traveled even with people such as ourselfs in the fitness world.

Chest today with my friend and previous personal trainer. We never get the opportunity to train together due to scheduling conflicts. Nice change today and always good to spend time with a friend.

    Pre Supps:
    Hemavol\Unleashed\Taurine\Crea Trona\BCAASAA

    Post Supps:
    IsoPure RTD

    Training:
    Incline BB Bench Press
    135x12x1
    155x10x1
    185x6x1 (Personal Record) WooHoo!!!

    Seated Incline Dumbbell Fly
    35x10x1
    45x10x1
55x8x1 Hit Failure Here (Another Personal Record)

    Decline BB Bench Press
    185x10x1
    185x8x1
185x6x1 Hit Failure and my friend forced 3 more assisted reps out of me

    Tricep Pull Downs
    40x12x3

    Standing Incline Cable Chest Pull
    22.5x10x3
    22.5,17.5,15.5,12.5 Drop Set to Failure

Very nice chest work today and some personal best marks made the day very satisfying. I could have gone heavier on some of those but form is always important and staying safe for injuries always keeps me from getting carried away. Over the past few years of living a healthier lifestyle and lifting I have been told many times not to get crazy with how much weight I'm pulling or pushing. Never felt like I have anything to prove in the gym, probably never will either.

Came home after seeing a movie with my wife to grill up some steaks and noticed the damn package was open! Could not brave to cook it and wake up tomorrow headed off to the emergency room so that was money tossed right into the garbage. Nothing worse than having your mind made up for some grilled steak and having to settle on a sandwich! Boooooooooo

Woke up late this morning due to the clouds fooling me into thinking I woke up earlier than I normally do. Without light creeping into my room I figured it was still around 5am. Looked over at the clock and it was 9am! Those clouds and that G8 had me sleeping for about 9 hrs last night. Can't say I didn't get enough rest. I'm not eating open steak folks! I don't plan to be on CNN.com dead from some kinda back woods beef contamination. Training was on the lighter side today. I stayed home and get some stuff done in the garage gym.

Only Supps today came from BCAA\SAA, sipping along the way.

    20x3 ball slams to warmup

    Squats / SS Walking Lunges
    95x12 / 50x12
    145x10x3 / 50x12

    Curls
    25x12x6

2.5 mile jog in the rain sprinkles was a nice change today. It was still in the 90's and I was sweating but the breeze and cool rain drops felt oh so good. Had a good time out there running today except for the legs being a little tight from the training. This G8 and BCAA/SAA before bed on more strenuous training days is where its at! Waking up feeling rested and never having that beat up feeling. Probably won't have time to train tomorrow with a log work day coming up so Thursday would be back day if all goes well.

The lady and I made it back into the gym today. 6pm on a Saturday, much more space to move around. I guess people don't work out on the weekends. We targeted back with a little bit of chest.

    Pre Supps:
    Hemavol\Unleashed\Taurine\Crea Trona\BCAA

    Post Supps:
    None

    Training:

    Rear Delt Cable Flye
    3x10

    Wide Grip Lat Pull Down
    2x10
Drop Set To Failure - est 16-18 reps

    Dumbbell Row
    3x10

    High Cable Chest Fly
    3x10

    Seated Row
    3x10

    One Arm Lat Pulldown
    3x10

    Seated Incline Dumbbell Press
    2x10
1x10 only my wife did this last set. I was to tired

We finished up with a jog on the treadmill and went to get food. The lady did very well tonight. She has gotten much stronger than she was a couple months ago and she also doesn't seem to mind lifting heavy anymore. I noticed she likes to increase the weight and she also will rep until failure about half the time now also. Tomorrow is her typical Sunday soccer game and I'll probably be training tomorrow night alone after work.

I'll get her back on here. Every since we got this new puppy in the house that is all she does with her free time. This little guy follows her all over the house, into the restroom, into the closet, he took my spot in the bed and he'll probably be eating my dinner soon. Thanks for reading our log. It helps keep the motivation going and all the advice everyone gives is crazy appreciated.

Training tonight was very nice. I was able to join 2 others at Golds and we definitely motivated each other to push through a solid session. We decided on a leg night and a little chest towards the end.

    Pre Supps:
    Hemavol\Ignite 2\BCAA\Taurine\CreaTrona

    Post Supps:
    None

    Lying Hamstring Curls
    80x10x2
    40x10x1 Alternating Legs

    BB Squats
    95x30x1
    95x25x1

    Leg Press
    6 Plates x 10
    8 Plates x 10
Drop Set 8,6,4,2 Plates to Failure

    Leg Extensions
    70x30
    70x25

Dumbbell Bench w/Neutral Grip / Dumbbell Bench Press SS
    45x10x1/45x10x1
    55x10x2/55x10x2

    Standing Cable Pull
    17.5x10x2
    22.5x10x3
    Drop Set 22.5,17.5,12.5x7.5 to Failure

8x3 Body Weight Chin Ups w/ Burpee

Our legs felt like wet noodles while we worked on chest and it was plenty of laughs tonight. There was some wobbles and lots of stretching going on. I'm going to go in the kitchen right after I click the submit button to shake up some G8 and BCAA/SAA to ensure I get a decent night sleep to recover. There was no time to cook a cool dinner tonight so I ended up eating some turkey deli meat and little slices of 2% cheddar rolled up in between slices. Not so sure on the health benefits of a grape but I ate a handful just cause they tasted good. Off to bed folks!
