Here we go! FINAFLEX 550 XD IS BACK! I will be running THREE BOTTLES of 550 XD BLACK. This will be a 45 day blitz to the best physique possible before summer (followed by PCT). This is a FINAFLEX SPONSORED thread. A huge thanks to ScottyDoc and Dream Weaver for being awesome Finaflex Reps, and of course thanks to the gentlemen and women at Finaflex who make this possible! I will LOG nutrition, supplement timing, training, and bi-weekly progress pictures so please stick around and throw me your comments and criticism (constructive please).

Supplementation is as follows:

Finaflex 550 XD Black- 4 capsules daily (2 upon waking and 2 with post-workout meal)

Finaflex Revolution PCT Black- 1 capsule (before bed)

AI Sports Nutrition RecoverPro- 4 scoops (sipped throughout the day mixed into 1 gallon of H2O)

MGN Multi-Vitamin His- 3 capsules (upon waking)

MGN American ISO Whey Protein- As Needed for optimum Macro-Nutrient Ratios

Nutrition:

I will be following the Lean Gains Protocol. My calories will fall between 1500-1800 on “burn days” and 2200-2500 on “lift days” I will be aiming for 50% protein/25% carbs/25% fat on “burn days” and 50% protein/30% carbs/20% fat on “lift days” I am very carb sensitive, and as a result will appear puffy from excessive consumption. Fast break will be at 1300hrs and the feeding window will close at 2100hrs.

Current Stats:

I am currently around 19.6% body fat according to the Accu-Measure 3000 caliper. My weight is currently 215lbs. My aim is a body recomp protocol, shredding as much body fat as possible while keeping or gaining lean mass. I recently moved, and had a massive overhaul to take on with the new house. Unfortunately my training and nutrition suffered as a consequence. I am bound and determined to now overhaul myself with this awesome supplement and of course hard work!

Training:

I will be using “MrKleen’s Iron Warrior/Kleen Machine” Protocol which involves form failure and strip set failure M/W/F with cardio and abs TUE/THUR/SAT.

Im glad to have you along brotha!! Honestly my body has a strange way of utilizing calories. I have been using LG coming up on a year now, I have had to do a lot of trial and error to get my body to respond the way I want. I may even have to tinker a bit during this LOG we'll just have to see how it goes!

Story of my life ... I've been bodybuilding for 6 years now and I'm always changing something up to see what works beat ... Good luck

Day 1

Took my first dose of 550-XD at 0645hrs along with 3 multi-v caps. I haven't used any supplements of this caliber in a good while, and I could definitely feel some unwanted effects...at least effects that have not been normal over the past few months or so. I definitely felt cranky as all get out and by the time my last class rolled around I had zero tolerance for BS from my fourth block turds...I mean students. I sipped on my gallon of H2O/RecoverPro throughout the day, and hit my workout at about 1540. Training went well...I am just really getting back into the game here and assessing my strength. I took dose two of 550-XD around 1700 hrs along with my largest meal of the day. I will take one cap of PCT Black before bed. All said I am glad to be back in the game and already I feel confident that this LOG will be a great success.

2 working sets (60 second rest between working sets) followed by 2 drops set until form failure directly following second set (no rest between drop sets). Aiming for 6-8 reps. I was pouring sweat by the end. The lunges really got my heart rate elevated. I did a 10 minute warm up on the treadmill, and also a ten minute cool down (walking 3.2 mph)

I agree your calorie count does seem a little low. But if you are looking to cut weight it might be ok. All depends also how active you are during the day and your cardio plan.

Best of luck and I will be following this. Today was the 1st day of week 3 for me on 550. Slowly getting strength gains but not noticing any size gains. Seems I am cutting a very small % of body fat though.

I increased my pills to 5 a day for this week as I was doing 4 for the 1st two weeks. Can't wait to follow you on the journey

He suggests that we bump build days up to a respectable 3,000 calories and burn days to around 2,000 calories. I will keep macro-nutrirnts the same. Just know that this scares the hell out of me, but lets see how it works. With my Meso/Endo body type I will have potential for large gains in mass lets hope I can keep it lean!

Since we're making updates here...I slept like crap last night (not from supplementation) my HVAC unit wont produce cold air so my house is about 80 degrees...not ideal for sleeping. On the other hand I feel really good today no crankiness perhaps yesterday was just an off day. Sorness is minimal from yesterdays lift (so far) I will hit some moderate paced elliptical today and some abs.

I think that is perfect as far as calories. For someone with more muscle and 215ish pounds, 2300 calories was just not enough IMO!

Especially if your workouts are intense, your calories expenditure will be great from that.

BTW, you look incredible for 19.6% BF, I think you might truly be leaner than that, but either way, I'm totally in for the transformation that we both know you can do, it's Game Time Baby!!!

Good to see ya brotha, I knew it would only a matter of time. I'm not sure how accurate the accumeasure calipers are, but I always use them to keep things consistant. I definitely have some extra skin chub as Jeff likes to put it but as you said...Game Time Baby!!!

The basics...on hands and knees back flat. Take a deep breath and then exhale. As you do so suck your abs up into your spine expelling as much air as possible which in turn will cause you to arch your back...like a cat vomiting I hold for five seconds and then release. It feels pretty awesome!!

Dang I just noticed which whey and vitamins your using. Interested to see how you like them as well. And on another note you sure have not lost much. I think you will get back to your old self in no time flat with this run.

Thanks bro, ya know I'm just really self conscious about my appearance, but I hope to smash my goals and go beyond the old green! I'm liking the MGN products btw especially the the Multis in capsule form...eliminates that funky vitamin taste (which is never a pleasure first thing in the am). Of course the ice cream sandwich is awesome!

Lololol @ packers!!! I literally thought the same thing Green! The ONLY exercise from that list i've heard of are DB side bends! XD

Yeah definitely a bit smooth and a little more belly hanging over my shorts than I'd like, but I'm glad you guys think the 19.6 seems high. I had trouble digesting that one myself. No matter I'll just keep chipping at the block.

You do make a solid video haha. I am already falling into a good groove here with the nutrition and training. Everything feels...right. Macros and calories are on point and I know that I respond well to Kleens iron warrior so from here on...yeah consistency will be key. I have my parents coming in this weekend and then again next weekend (divorce) so it will prove challenging, but nothing I can't handle...I'm actually looking forward to flexing my will power.

You do make a solid video haha. I am already falling into a good groove here with the nutrition and training. Everything feels...right. Macros and calories are on point and I know that I respond well to Kleens iron warrior so from here on...yeah consistency will be key. I have my parents coming in this weekend and then again next weekend (divorce) so it will prove challenging, but nothing I can't handle...I'm actually looking forward to flexing my will power.
Honestly... I would not try to flex too hard, sometimes that can cause you to fall off and do worse than just giving yourself one really awesome blow-out meal with your parents each weekend, but just keep it to one meal, but within that meal... don't hold back, anything goes, get all those cravings outta there, whatever you can pack in, in one sitting is free game, remember, your body can only absorb/store so much fat in one sitting. Besides, if you are anything like me... after a hard-core cheat, I am usually eager to go back to my diet so I can feel normal (not bloated) again!!!

BTW... the above ^^^ is my opinion, I'm sure not everyone will agree with me, but it has served me well in the past!

We were doing something called skip-loading a couple years back where you loaded 2000 grams of carbs in 24 hours, it worked but ... the humanity!!

Probably a good idea especially considering that my carbs are pretty low. I may need a good refeed once a week to pick my self back up. Yeah after a cheat I drive myself so mad with guilt that I tend to bounce straight back into the game. I hate the bloated feeling not to mention the flat look and my clothes not fitting the way I want.

Thats sounds INSANE, but at the same time pretty awesome. Were these anything goes carbs or clean carbs? I read the 4 hour body not too long ago, and that sounds very similar to one of the philosophies used during the protocol.

I must say that only 2.5 days in and my hunger has dramatically increased. I have become so accustom to my LG protocol that I didnt even think about eating until 1300hr now its all I can do to not tear up some food before the window opens...thank god for flavored branched chains.

High glycemic carbs for the most part, tons of sugars, need to keep the fat low though. Kids cereals become a main source...

Finally I have tried to read this bad boy and sub since yesterday. I get almost done reading it and start getting the database errors. Great read so far, hope thoe calories work well for you. I have a feeling they shouldn't be too bad at all. I have been running 1800-2800 recently and doing pretty well. We are about the same size right now. Oh yeah I just don't think you are just under 20% If so you hold it extremely extremely well.

Glad you got in despite the errors in the database. I usually do well with calories similar to what you use so I'm hoping this works out. As for holding that weight...yes I do mask my true fat self well lol. Its actually gotten me into trouble as many years ago I was extremely overweight and unhealthy as all hell, yet I appeared just to be big so to speak. Needless to say I came to the realization that if I continued on that path I would be ending my life prematurely. With all that said...Let's do work and return to glory!! Thanks again for popping in bro.
