Staying Powerful in PCT with Formutech's Volatile

Maybe I'll be the first ever guinea to log their results with 2 at once! I build tolerance to stims quick, and I'm neck deep in a high tolerance/dependence phase since this is PCT so not worried. And if stuff hits the fan a big load of carbs shuts almost anything down for me, thankfully. Once I drank 6 shots of straight espresso at once. The barista was like...are you sure you want 2 larges? That's 6 shots... I just grinned and gave him the money. 600mg of caff later, you couldn't get me to shut up to save my life lol.

Tonight banged out 27 min on the treadmill, slight incline. HIIT, made 8 sprint pulls & cleared 2 miles in just under 23 minutes including a 5 min warmup walk, followed by a 4 min cooldown. 1min 20 sec - 2min walking rests between 'sets'.

Haven't done cardio in 2 months, and never been able to complete a HIIT session for longer than 15 min. I am strongly inclined to believe the Volatile made a serious difference in my endurance (longterm & per sprint), which is a really pleasant surprise. Normally pre's suck with cardio for me, and I suck at cardio, but I was just really in the zone. Put on some old Common and made myself keep coming back round after round :yup:
I take 1 scoop of volatile to do cardio. I just enjoy the feeling I get from it once I am done. My legs getting an excellent pump and good Vascularity from it. We are working on a high stim PWO currently. It is just such a different product because you loose the Pump effect and it goes on the Stim feeling to blow through a workout out. I also do not want a crash product which is truly the sticking point to an excellent stim IMO!

I think you'll be pleasantly surprise by how good volatile goes with cardio.
I love a scoop before cardio. It gives a nice calm pick me up. It's one of the only Pre's I can before cardio. The rest make my heart pound until I get dizzy lol.

If you make a high stim pre, you will be keeping Volatile still right?

Awesome just checking. Sometimes the "majority" of the people want to be stimmed out of their minds lol. I however enjoy nice smooooooth energy.

to be honest, the popularity that Volatile has had has been almost universal between high and low stim people. The nice thing about low stim products is that you can always add a boost to it if you REALLY want to. But when you find a pre that gives you that laser focus and great endurance without the stroke, it's like magic.

I'm guessing Orange to go with Endurance. Hmmm and I'll say Arnold Palmer Tea/Lemonade

I'm always available to taste test lol. My wife cracks up when I get unmarked baggies in the mail.

I vote more flavors please! I unfortunately have several tubs of pre's in the warchest currently, but I'd love to pick up a tub of Volatile when the next flavor is released (I know I like the Berry a lot, so high hopes for what's in the works). This is a really great, versatile pre. I can't say how pleased I've been with it so far, way beyond normal. It's not the one time use that blows you away, it's how it always feels right & not overdone - you don't get sick of it. Not a 'one-night freak in the sheets' type of gal; we're talking bring her home to mom & make-her-a-housewife material here.

1 scoop was great with cardio, and I swear it gave me more bang & more endurance with that HIIT yesterday. Gonna down 2 scoops now -it's heavy bench tonight!

Well I was drained all day at work yesterday (long & productive day), so wasn't really shocked when I hit the flatbench & still felt wiped out. It was a deep-down, my body just needed more rest & is weary feeling. So despite that, I really grinded through this workout & was sweating like wild by the end. The dips were done between sets of chins & HS rows to help fight fatigue from the low rest intervals. I was weak last night, but I put in a lot of effort & was a great experience.

Bb Flatbench 135x8, 185x5, 245x5, 5, 4, 3, 3
Standing Bb Military Press 135 x10 x5 sets
Chin-ups BW x10, 10, 8, 8
Dips BW x15 x5 sets
HS Wide-grip Pronated Row 115/side x15 x5 sets

Upper body was looking jacked, and weight was down to 203.4 yesterday. Last night was the DD for some friends, so pounded a burrito with all the side carbs/chips while they killed some margaritas before hauling people out for a small bar crawl, where I hit the biggest order of beef nachos I've ever had (shredded cheese, not liquid either). This morning 205.6 lol; I love glycogen pumps!

Speaking of that, time to go get some volume squat & abs...& maybe bis; Volatile will do that to you ;)

Think I'm gonna get bloods in about 6wks. I'm really not worried about anything, I just hope cholesterol is normal by then. Scares me to wonder if it isn't, what I'll do.... I have orders now for whenev I want but since it's not even the end of wk 4 off I don't see any point in checking numbers.

So today was really good for me at the gym - talked to the chick whose tire I changed last week and she's coming by at 7 to go out for dinner. Should be good times ;)

Bb Backsquat 135x10, 225x5, 315x5, 345x3, 370x3, 390x3, 405x1, *did 2 walkouts with 545 & then 595 here*, 405x1 again
Traditional Speedpulls 139x12, 229x3, 319x3x8 sets
Supported Hanging Leg Raises BWx17, 13, 12, 8

595 lbs feels like a lot....the whole bar bows pretty good and it's tough to stay stable under it, especially if you try to step fore or aft. But it made that last 405 feel a lot more manageable :yup:

2nd day with no Clomid, feel great. Exemestane eod 25mg, .5 ed on prami still - goin to ldopa tho nxt week I think instead. Between Glycobol & Volatile I'm looking swoll all the time it seems, really wish I wasn't so close to the bottom... I think there's only one or two more workouts :(

Exactly. Really more of a strongman thing, as the yolk carry is one of their events, basically revolving around getting under a weight rack, doing a super high partial squat to lift it off the ground, and carrying it for time or distance. The weights are always massive, much more than they'd be squatting. But a walkout can be used as a Post-Activation-Potentiation thing (PAP) - basically lift something reaaaally heavy for you and the next thing you do after a rest will feel much lighter/manageable.

She was really awesome - actually really did buy me dinner (awesome pizza place around here) & we really hit it off. She asked, so I told her about the gear, & she was very cool about it - it's rampant in MMA, so she gets that it just comes with the territory (although she's still natty & 6-0). We have a ton in common, and she was over til nearly 5 in the morning. 5'5'', mexican & italian, stocky & all hips n ass, lots of ink, some piercings, and hair shorter than mine. Not exactly the norm for me, but there'll def b a 2nd date I think. Can't wait to shred it; you can tell she's a freak.

I'm sorry Formutech for the threadjack, but some things you gotta share ;) No lift today, may do a spot of cardio later but gonna save my remaining Volatile for lifting!

Today was what I consider an offday - just went in to do bicep & ab work, in and out within an hour. Great workout, I was able to hit them hard with no big lifts beforehand to drain me. But I realized I only have one workout left of Volatile, so I saved it for tomorrow. Just ran 5g creatine mono, 1g bulk agmatine, 3g cit mal & some starbucks coffee - by the last set of biceps, my veins seemed bigger than I'd EVER seen them (even on msten) but the pump faded almost immediately.

That's something I've come to love about Volatile - not only is the pump blend great, it's lasting. Kind of a letdown with my homeblend today after getting used to the lingering swell. This was actually really great for me to see how Volatile stacks up against a basic ag/cit mal/creatine combo. Formutech's blend is just plain better.

Well, today was speed bench, & I decided to do some heavy pushpress after the speedwork & then chest n' tris. What a great workout, my last 2 scoops well spent. Here's a pic so you can hopefully see how dang full my chest was after this routine, as well as where my bf is at since playing with my carbs & cals these last 4 wks in pct. Sitting at 202 dry in the morning, down 15 lbs since peak weight of cycle. Obviously some intramuscular glycogen & water weight lost coming off cycle, but as my muscles still seem bigger & full & strength is still the same (except squat) I'm inclined to believe I've lost a good 10lbs of fat or more without noticeably losing any muscle mass.

0520132058.jpg

Speedbench 135x11, 205x3x8 sets
Pushpress 95x5, 135x5, 185x5, 195x4, 205x3 (PR's, especially considering this was after speedbench!)
Incline Db Press 75s x12, 9, 9
Incline Hexpress 50s x10, 11, 11
Dips BWx15, 10, 12, 11
Cable Crossovers from 3/5 Way Up Pulley 30/side x13, 35x8, x8 ds to 20x12 ds to Bottom Pulley 15x14

This workout marks the end of my log of Formutech's Volatile Preworkout, & as I'm about 4wks thru PCT already & recovery has been great I see no reason to further log my PCT separately after this. I'm bigger, leaner, & stronger than 3 months ago (considerably), I found a new preworkout I love, & got a second date with Miss MMA coming this thursday evening for a late movie at her place. Life is good :)

Final Review

0520131843.jpg

Honestly can say I'm sorry to see her go :(

Formutech's Volatile - Berry Eruption flavor

Taste: 9/10
Sweet, but not too sweet, and always smooth the whole way thru, I mixed 2 scoops routinely with 18-20oz cold water & loved it every time.

Mixability: 7/10
I assume it's the creatine, but there was always some white stuff left at the bottom that I'd have to swirl before my last drinks to make sure I got. This settling is intrinsic to almost any creatine-filled pre I've ever used, and it's not a big deal to me - it's just the nature of the beast. The rest of the solution blends really well & there is consistent enjoyable taste from the first oz to the last.

Focus: 8/10
I have had more focus at times from higher-stim pre's, but never such consistent drive without a high-stim product. Volatile gives good focus in the gym without being overbearing or mindless. Just smooth attention to the task at hand - moving iron.

Energy: 9/10
The only reason I can't give it a perfect score is because it's really not a huge kick in the ass even at 2 scoops & I know stim-junkies may be looking for more- if you're extraordinarily drained, you're gonna need more than 2 scoops of this stuff to stay awake. But you shouldn't be lifting when you're so weak anyway, which brings me to my point: Volatile's smooth energy was a great, no crash, no jitter, almost unnoticeable onset every time - you take it and kinda realize 30 min or so later you just feel really ready to do some work! After a long day wrenching (and often dieting), Volatile made me feel ready to kick ass & take names, without feeling cranked or propped up on stims.

Endurance: 8/10
Great stamina every time; never built up any kind of tolerance to the effects. I often lift very heavy for myself as a powerlifter, & it seems like, if anything, my rest times have decreased since before Volatile when I was on cycle! I've been able to lift with vigor from start all the way to finish.

Pump: 10/10
Best non-hormonal product I've ever used, and consistent. Had my veins swollen & muscles inflated after every workout. Works better than 2 scoops of Hemavol or 2g of bulk Agmatine mixed with 3g bulk Cit Mal, for sure. That's the highest praise I can give it, because those are the only 2 things that really can make a noted difference in appearance.

Value: 7/10
Considering I have to run 2 full scoops for my sweet spot & there's only 32 scoops/tub, that's only 16 muscle-bursting workouts. That's the same servings I'd need & get with a tub of Hemavol, but Volatile offers much more than just pump - there's the stim/endurance aspect as well, & it's only a few dollars more than Hemavol on NutraPlanet. This really isn't a great price/serving ratio in anyone's book, but I enjoyed it so much I'll be paying the full price to try Orange when it comes out anyway. If you want something enough, you'll pay the man what he asks. And this is a good value compared to Hemavol too, so that helps put it in perspective. Do you want something cheap, or something that works great?

Overall: 10/10
Truly, never have I had a preworkout product I enjoyed so thoroughly time & again that didn't get old or wasn't too harsh for some days. And it always delivered, with no variation or tolerance built over a month lifting prob 5 days/wk. Volatile was the right choice for every workout (whether it be bodybuilding, powerlifting, or cardio), every time. I'm really pleased, and this won't be the last time I use the stuff - come on, Orange flavor! Can't wait ;)

Big thanks to Formutech, Swanky, & the Brucester for letting me give an honest review of Volatile - you guys really have something here. And if you wanna send me a Formutech shirt to rep at the gym, you know I'd be happy to help spread the word :)

Great thorough review!! Check your mailbox in a few days!! Thanks again.

Gotta let the body recover at some point; you would be wise to listen if you think it's time. You've had a great run already for a good time on with great results.

That's how I feel. I feel like at this point I want to clean out and gain some strength and get all energized for next cycle whenever that may be:) probably just for peace of mind and organ lol

I have some ideas for you Haha. You should try the cruising on Clomid at like 10-25 ED and tell me how it feels. Or Nolva. I'm insanely curious about that.

you doing ME or what
You know it! Either gonna work up to 505 for 2-3 reps or a single at 515 or so if my injury bugs me. Singles don't stand near as much chance as aggravating my old back injury. Yeah buddy!
