Moderate Strength + Incredibly Short Arms = Big Lifts

I kinda felt like I was losing my form a little bit today,though, so I wouldn't be surprised if I'm not putting up as many reps next week.

Just thought I'd give you guys the low-down on my routine (since I never did yet) so you know all that I'm doing.

I usually do my main workouts in the mornings. I'm weird, and will sometimes do cardio for fun (if you can buy that).

Monday: Legs
Tuesday: Shoulders
Wednesday: Cardio (usually HIIT)
Thursday: Back
Friday: Morning: Chest Evening: Cardio (usually a shorter duration of HIIT)
Saturday: Cardio (Random)
Sunday: Cardio (usually a distance run)

For my Friday Evening workout, I did what we shall call "thesinner's I hate my life workout". This consists of jumping rope for 2-4 minutes, doing 10 squat thrusts (blurpees), and repeating for 10-12 cycles and doing a cool down with jumping jacks. If you're ever down on the way your life is going, do this workout. When you're done, life won't seem so bad.....I mean at least your not doing that workout anymore.

Cadrio Today: Today for cardio, I ran 20 sets of bleachers followed by a 2 mile jog.

Measurements after week 1:
Left Arm (Relaxed)
Straight: 13.5"
bent 90: 15.0"
Chest:
Across Nipples: 42.25"

Left Calf: 15.25"

Left Thigh:
Mid Thigh: 22.5"
Upper Thigh: 24

Stomach (across navel): 31.5"

Shoulders: 50"

Measurement Summary: Chest, Calf, and Upper Thigh are up. Stomach is down 1/2 inch. At 1 cap/day I really can't complain. Will start up with 2 caps/day starting on Monday. Also note that all measurements are taken upon awakening Saturday Morning.



Zit Story: So I have a decent-sized mole just above my right eyebrow (like Cindy Crawford big). Anyhow, it looked a little larger than usual, and it had that painful, bloated pressure feeling you get from a really deep zit. So I went to the mirror to see what was up. I couldn't really see a pimple, but I put both fingertips around it to pinch anyhow. No sooner had I pinched, than a big-pussy blackhead shot out and sprayed across my bathroom mirror. It was one of those ones that you could actually hear "pop".

It was too cold and I was too unmotivated to run this morning, so I just jumped some rope indoors.

Workin
Well my shaker was not fully dry, and I wanted to put my pre-workout crap in there (BCAA's, CEE, Whey, and Oat flour) before going to bed. Before I had noticed there was still some condensation left at the bottom of the shaker, I threw in the CEE.

That's when I noticed the bottom of the shaker was wet. Since i didn't want to put the oat flour in a wet container (in which case it would've just stuck to the bottom), I threw the shaker in the microwave for a minute. This usually works great if you want to dry out your shaker in a quick pinch, and I would've figured CEE would be inert. About 30 seconds in, I noticed smoke building up inside the microwave. I opened it up, and the shaker was smoking, with burn marks on the bottom.

My theory is that CEE + water + intense heat = Creatine and Ethanol. Impress your friends, catch creatine on fire!

Seems my strength is up from last week. I didn't put up any more weight than last week, but was able to perform more reps with said weights. I've also noticed an increase in pimples on my upper back, or as I like to call it, "backne". I usually don't get them on my back, usually my face (which is more ideal because then I can pop them and tell you guys stories about it).

I'm popping egg-smelling pills on a daily basis, hoping I can say that to you. My breast tissue is VERY mild, so it's been hard for me to say if it's going down, since 50% gone looks the same as 0% gone, but I think we're gettin' there. :think:

I gave myself the ol' "Am I lactating?" test this morning. Last month: Yes. This morning: No. I think that's pretty good news. Mmowry gains credability, and just for kicks, some more reps (except, I gotta give points to others first).

Well see tomorrow. I only take my weight measurements on lifting days (which is too often anyhow in my opinion) because I will have a different weight than on cardio days, due to the fact that I don't eat a pre-workout meal on cardio days.

So BrassMonkey, not only did I keep my 1 lbs, but put on another 1.5lbs.



So far, still no sides. The acne on my back is actually starting to clear up. No real zits on my face. I keep waiting and hoping, but there's nothing yet to make dsade sick while he's eating his breakfast :(.

All in all, I wouldn't say the sudden weight drop is nothing major, I've been known to flucuate as much as 3lbs in 24 hours. Strength is up significantly in basically all my lifts. I feel like I'm getting bigger (if that makes any sense). Measurements come tomorrow, I don't think we'll be disappointed.

For my Friday evening cardio, the rec center is closed early due to spring bring so I 6 sets of jumping rope for 5-6 minutes followed by going down for 10 squat thrusts. BTW, I will be working out at a different location and using a different scale next week, due to spring break.


I found a new stretchmark. In the crook between my anterior delt and bicep, it's about 3/4" by 1/4". It's freaking huge! This has got me more than excited to see tomorrow morning's measurements.

BF down (did I mention I've more than doubled my carb intake since being on this?), LBM up, size up, strength up: all this almost makes my **** wanna go up.

AMAZING! to say the least. If it weren't for the fact that I was getting frostbite, I would've run 5 miles without a problem. Now that you've mentioned it, I ran that 4 miles in ~35 minutes, which is record timing for a guy like me.

I don't remember if I did or not, so here goes anyhow.

Here's a typical lifting day:
5:45am: 3/4 cup oat flour + 1 scoop ATW Whey protein
6:30am: 10 BCAA's during workout
7:30am: 10g Creatine Mono + 2 TBS Dextrose + 1 Scoop ATW Protein
8:30am: 1 Chicken Breast, Broccoli, & either 2/3 cup brown rice or 3/4 cup oatmeal
10:45 6 eggwhites, 2 oz turkey breast, 1/2 cup oatmeal
1:30 1 1/2 cans of tuna w/ spicy mustard
3:30 2 Tilapia Filets, Spinach, & either brown rice or oatmeal
7:00 1 1/2 cans of Tuna
9:15 1-2 cups of Cottage cheese mixed with cocoa and splenda for taste



Non-lifting days are pretty much the same, except for no pre-workout.

I think this'll be my next cycle. We're about the same size...how convenient ;o) AP+HAVOC......I like it. I'm looking into Epistane too.

Really? Strange (I'm new to both, just started reading a mere hour ago). I was reading in another post that some dude was asking if people ran Epistane or Havoc...I must have misinterpreted the question (I assumed he was implying they were different).
