Day 13

Well...another day on the road, driving about five hours. I am looking forward to a weekend of just being home and dead on my schedule. I did pretty well this weekend, and I am looking forward to getting back into the gym. Hopefully I can get in a lift tomorrow...after our damn open house which last until 7:30 ughhh, its going to be a long day. I will be getting some new ink on Tuesday, I am hoping I dont get to beat up under the needles so I can keep on training. Dosed 2 Epi-V at 0600hr and 1545hr and 1 PCT Black pre-bedtime.

Nutriton: We finally made it to Sam's club...putting in another 45 minute drive after the five we already drove, but it was worth it. Progress is evident so I will continue on with this protocol adding in extra calories to meet my nutritional needs. The steaks (Sirloin Tip) below are about 16oz. each...got 4 of them for $15 you just cant go wrong!

image-2021216845.jpg

Training: I wanted to go to the gym so bad, but it closes at five and we had to get groceries...sacrifices were made. I am feeling and looking a lot better. I will have pictures up tomorrow.

Day 14

It was one long A$$ day! Had open hose at my school today so I was there from 0645hr until 1915hr, then straight to the gym. Thankfully the Epi-V kept me going and motivated. Nutrition was spot on, and I finally got some training in after a long weekend of "resting". I took pictures tonight, but they are very washed out so I am going to try to get some with natural light...which has been hard to do since we are so damn busy. I wont even bother posting the ones I took they just look really flat, and honestly Im just to damn tired to mess with the camera (piece o crap). Dosed 2 Epi-V at 0600hr and 1545hr and 1 PCT Black pre-bedtime.

Nutrition: I went longer than I wanted today without food, but I managed to get in some decent calories. "Meal of the Day" Cajun Talpia with mixed vegetables and Avocado along with a "paleo pesto" (almonds, cilantro, garlic, olive oil, and spices)...Fuggin Awesome!

image-2475875600.jpg

Close Grip Bench: 3 sets 135lb x 10 (perfect)

Day 15

Major DOMS in my arms...feels great! Nutrition was on point. I traded training for getting tattooed today. I will most likely skip tomorrow too so I can heal up a bit, but nutrition and supplementation will stay the same. Weight is at 213lb from 218 and BF% is down 2%. Haven't sat down to do the math, but It looks like I have torched some lean mass...so I have to up the calories. I feel good and look much leaner. Arms are way more vascular and abs are becoming visible. I am adding in some Controlled Labs Orange Triad Multi-Vs for an extra boost. I began leangains (IF) so I will be incorporating that with my paleo food choices. I am on a roll with this LOG everything feels good I feel unstoppable!

The newest addition to the sleeve...Thanks Ray Alexander at Blue Flame Tattoo in Raleigh NC. www.blueflametattoo.com

I am exhausted. No training again because I had to work the gate at school for the volleyball game. Nutrition was on point, but it's been hard to get a lot of calories in the past few days. Tomorrow will be better I'll actually have time to train.

Day 17

Yet another day without training. I spent 4 hours in the car dealership last night test driving, dealing and doing all the paper work for my new car. The good thing is I am still making progress. I am hoping to get in a lift today...fingers crossed. Nutrition is good, but calories are still low. I have been working on getting in some extra food, but my schedule has been so damn hectic this week that this whole LOG has been put on the back burner. Next week should be much easier, as far as I know I dont have any obligations to contend with.

Greeny... Hey I was talking to MrKleen earlier this week and he like all of us, struggles with his diet without proper motivation. I think it is time for another competition, what do you think? Nothing more than who can get the leanest, not who makes the biggest change, not who has the best symmetry or shape, but who via pictures is voted as being the leanest, is this something that would interest you, motivate you? I am totally game, I have decided to skip Halloween this year due to a promise to Morry to enter in the "Tough Mudder" it is in North Carolina this year and it is on October 27th, Hey... you live in NC, would you be interested in joining our team??? We could finally meet in person and compete as team mates, it is a team effort, helping one another through the 24 different ostacles along an 11mile trail run, I've been training like crazy and I will not lie, this is totally different than what I am accustomed to and my body is screaming, my joints are sore, my muscles are sore, **** is killing me, but the fat is melting away at a rate I don't think I've ever seen before with my perfect diet, high rep 5 day a week a different muscle per day lifting and minimum of 5hrs/wk of intense cardio (not fat-burning) training! So I guess that is two questions, LoL, hit me up bro, would be awesome either way!!!

Day 18/19

I will group these two day together as they were equally lame in the sense of training and nutrition. The only good thing that came from this weekend is that I got in a well needed refueling (with non paleo foods). Training just plain ol' did not happen...and damn it...it felt good to do nothing.

Day 20

Back on the wagon today. Nutrition was spot on, and I got my A$$ in the gym for some lifting. I am still dosing the same 2 caps of Epi-V twice daily with 1 cap of PCT Black pre-bed. I have no negative sides to speak of what so ever. I have promised pictures, and I will try to get some in before this week ends. It is tough to get on the same page as my photographer (my girlfriend) as our schedules are so different.

Nutrition: I am now following a hybrid protocol of Intermittent Fasting with Paleo food choices. So far things seem to be working in my favor, even with my calories being lower than they probably should be. I will take BF% and Weight in the AM.

Training:

Incline DB Bench Press: 4 sets 55lb x 10

Flat DB Bench Press: 4 sets 55lb x 10

Cable Crossover: 7 sets 30lb x 10

Iso Push Up: 3 sets BW x 10 with 5 seconds hold

I would have definitely like to do more, but I had to meet the band for a jam session...trying to tighten things up before this weekends gig.

Day 21

Weight: 218 (same as day 1)

As of now it appears I have retained or built muscle while knocking off 4% body fat...in 21 Days. Nutrition is on point and I killed legs today. I am feeling pretty good overall.

Nutrition: Paleo/Intermittent Fasting Hybrid. I have been focusing on getting in more calories post-training following Lean Gains a bit closer than I have been in the past (during this LOG). Based on my weight vs bf% id say im on the right path.

Training:

Standing DB Calf Raise:
4 sets 65lb x 15
Leg Press Calf Raise: 4 sets 150lb x 15
Seated Calf Press: 7 sets 65lb x 20

Cable Leg Extension: 3 sets 130lb x 10
Squat: 3 sets 185lb x 10
Hip Ad: 3 sets 100lb x 15
Hip Ab: 3 sets 100lb x 15

Day 22

I must apologize...no pictures again. Everything seems to be on point. I am still battling the calorie deficit, trying to get them up a bit on lift days.
My legs are so damn sore its ridiculous LOL.

Nutrition: Paleo/LG Hyprid Calories still low, and I feel a bit puffy like I am holding some water...which makes no sense.

Training:

Pull Up: 3 sets 25lb x 8

Reverse Grip Lat Pull Down: 3 sets 100lb x 10

Cable T-Bar Row (improvised): 3 sets 150lb x 10

Reverse Grip Bent Over Row: 3 sets 135lb x 10

Standard Bent Over Row: 3 sets 135 x 10

Straight Leg Deads: 3 sets 135 x 10

Straight Arm Push Down: 7 sets 70lb x 10

This was an excellent training session. I feel like the strength was really up today, and I will continue to add weight as necessary.

Damn Dude, I am soooo sorry to hear that my Brother, if you ever need anyone to talk to my cell is 770-833-0252, call or text me anytime, I'm here for you.

Just want to share this with you, my ex-wife (mother of my daughter Ava) lost our first child around 8 or 9 weeks into her/our first pregnancy. It is way harder on the woman, both physically and especially emotionally. She was blaming herself, thinking she did something wrong or it was her fault etc. So my best advice to you my friend is to just be as patient, supporting and loving as possible, she really needs you right now!

Things are looking very good. Im am getting more vascular, muscles are hardening and of course fat is melting. I can now see the complete vein which spans from my wrist up my bicep and to my deltoid...always a good sign. I didn't get much done in terms of cardio this week, but the heavy weights felt good.

Nutrition:

Paleo/Lean Gains Hybrid. I am feeling pretty good I kicked in a cap of PX around 1000 all this week to curb stomp the hunger before I broke my fast. I have pretty much assimilated to the program now, but I may keep the PX in...cause I can!

Training:

DB Shoulder Press: 4 sets 55lb x 10

Prone Incline DB Front Raise: 4 sets 25lb x 10

Upright Row: 4 sets 115lb x 10

Machine Lateral Raise: 7 sets 50lb x 10 (30 second rest between)

Kettle Bell Lateral Swing: 4 sets 30lb x 10

Barbell Shrug: 4 sets 275lb x 10

DB Shrug: 4 sets 80lb x 10

Reverse Pec Deck: 7 sets 70lb x 10 (30 second rest between)
