I started them at the advice of Airborne42 to help with my lockout going heavier with deadlifts. I failed to lock out 420 over the weekend by no more than 3 inches. So I started rack pulls up to 450 and heavy forced bb shrugs to help me lock it out next time
Well he certainly knows his stuff!!

ZMA is money for good sleep. I tried Ergozzz, has melatonin in it as well, slept like a baby.
I wish that stuff wasn't so expensive though. It's only zinc, magnesium, and Vitamin B6. These aren't that expensive by themselves.

No offense, but for the most part, none of us will ever set any world PL'ing records - meaning the end goal is largely to just come in & be as strong as we can be. If you set a PR in a meet or improve from your previous total, you're a winner my man. Powerlifting is about competing against yourself, & only you know if you really won on the day of comp or not.

Bet you'll love it Swankster. What weight class you gonna shoot for? Raw or geared?

And Reggie, it's fairly common for orals to cause acid reflux - I got heartburn last 2 wks of Epi, & same on Methylsten :(

You're 100% correct, I'm not going into it even expecting to place. Just cool to have a future goal and to put myself out there against some other folks. I always compete against myself. I lift solo, every day. No one to motivate me for that last rep or that extra 5lbs but me and its served me well :)

The meet I'm looking at is untested. Not sure of the weight class I'm going to shoot for yet, need to do some calculations and research to see where I'll do best

I tried a couple samples of Focus XT, not bad, if you like lemonade flavored stuff. Personally I can't stand lemonade.

The Cotton Candy flavor is delicious!! Unfortunately my Ipod died 10 minutes into training today so had to finish up in complete silence!! Swanky you were right my shoulder was SAS today!! Made benching tough. Decided to go for reps rather than heavy weight. Kept my rest periods to under 30 seconds.

So I haven't put on any weight, was 179.5 this morning but definitely looking bigger or leaner I guess. Can't really keep much down for food. Strength is still good however so it's been a very interesting cycle

Never too late to start eating more, or throwing a few homemade mass shakes down each day, especially around the workout - you can get away with straight simple carbs around a workout on cycle usually.

Natty pb, honey, quick oats, protein, a fattier milk or (my preference) flavored/unflavored almond milk, bananas, berries (bananas are waaaay cheaper & the better gainer tho). Calories can be 600-1200 in one big drink with 50-60g protein no prob with all kinds of macro profiles if you pay attention to what you're using. I used to call em 'Big Boy' shakes lol. I use them on cycle if appetite isn't strong only, or I get big in the wrong way QUICK lol

If you stick with water, pb, oats, honey, bananas, & protein you can blend it in the morning & take it with you un-refrigerated anywhere, along with all kinds of nuts for more calories & fats if you want them. But drinking a couple homemade mass shakes is cheap & helps drive the total up each day. Or you can use pre-made mass powders, but usually these are expensive as heck/serving or lowwww quality nutrients - might as well blend icecream with a couple protein shakes or hit McD's each day; cheaper & waaay more enjoyable for same effect.

If you had tried that 510 straight up instead of the 500 before you'd have pulled it; no question. It's only a 2% increase, but pulling it after 500 is asking too much of your nervous system - if it's really at the threshold of your 1RM capability, no trained lifter can lift more or less their true 1RM and then immediately back it up with the same or higher number. If they pull 500, then pull 510 again after, their true 1RM is probably a good bit better. Id guess at least 530. It's extremely difficult for the body to truly pull out all the stops & go balls-to-the-wall, & if you do, you're gonna be done after.

Especially with the anabolics, go straight for it next time. Honestly in another wk on the drugs, might as well go for 515. You'll nail it - the programming & gear will take care of the rest if you just go all out.

Thanks brother!! Actually dropping weight but like I said before I feel like I look "bigger" if that's possible. My weight this morning was 175 when I took that pic which is actually down 4 pounds from when I started.

Got very little sleep last night and honestly was trying to make excuses all day as to why I should just skip training, however I decided to suck it up and see what I could do. Obviously the Androgenix is helping because I had one of my best training days to date. Going with drop super sets and tri sets. These are killers but I'm able to power through them each and every time. I really haven't noticed any sides to be honest, my joints feel good, although today my right wrist started hurting a little bit but that could be because of the number of sets I did with very little rest between. My liver must be good as I'm not turning yellow. Anger level is in check. Libido is great, the boys are normal and I have an extreme Alpha feeling!! Trained bis/tris today.

This was probably the hardest workout I've had but I really had no problems getting through it. It did however take around 1 hour and 45 mins which is 45 minutes longer than I normally like to train but I got an amazing sweat and pump, and literally couldn't lift my arms when I was done!!

No worries about how long you trained - when you're on gear, you're not catabolizing the same way as natty time if you train for long periods. That's why roids rock - in addition to being able to lift greater loads, synthesize more protein, & recover faster, you can also train MUCH longer. If you feel ready to lift when you're on, do it. And if you feel like you can keep training, grab another set. Now is the time. Off time is where you want to cap the sessions around an hour (due to declining test & peaking cortisol).

If you're explicitly training that day to nail that PR, def cut the volume down before. 135x10, all the other sets cut down to 5 reps, & only 3 reps on 405 & 1 on 455. Hit your PR, then do your work sets after the PR (maybe 3x5-8 at a good weight or pyramid back down if you prefer more volume still).

You are def looking more full, despite being leaner man. Guy at the local supp shop said he just came off pct off this stuff - said it made him feel like a monster in the gym, & he had run a 6 month test, sust, & primo cycle kicked and capped with a month of anadrol on either side shortly before it. Yikes.

Wow! Now that's a cycle!! Thanks man I will keep that in mind then and not worry about keeping my training to an hour. I've still got plenty of drive anyway, no sense wasting it!!
