kiss live #1 was much better than live #2, imo. went way downhill after 'made for lovin you'.

saw a magazine cover at krogers 'top 100 songs of the rolling stones'....geez, can you believe they are still touring?

Actually, I am incorrect. It was the KISS Alive II tour and it was 3 nights @ MSG in 1977

I cannot recall the warm-up band. It would have made me 12 1/2yo :)

i saw them in 74 before they became well known. it would have made me 16.

festival seating [a row of bleachers at the back]which meant everyone just walked around trying to get as close to speakers as possible...$6 at convention center.

thebigt am I trying hard to tell but one question is that one you on the left?:)

hell i can't make up my mind, lol....the right does things i totally disagree with, then they turn around and take a stand i agree with. the left is getting more stupid everyday on social issues, and i am absolutely not in favor of obamacare...but i support unions, and i think we HAVE to help those who really need help.

i travelled the world in the mid 70's to mid 80's and lived in the phillipines for close to 6 years, the one thing i saw that struck me the most was the safety net we as americans have, i.e. social security, disability, medicare, unemployment that many in poor and struggling countries didn't have......as a american i would really hate for that safety net to be taken away because the fat cats are too greedy to make some sacrifices!!!

hope that answers your question, lol.

:toofunny: I Love thebigt!!

BigT, you ever looked into the Libertarian Party?

absolutely....lot of good idea's, but don't know how practical they would be.

but it is nice that at least they are offering new idea's!!!

That's what I like most. A third party with new ideas. They see both points of view but understand the values of freedom, liberty and happiness still reign supreme.

I'm of the opinion that no one has the right to dictate any part of my life. Its my body, my life...

what makes it particulrly bad is when the law makers are either paid off or really stupid...in indiana there is a law that says i must wear a seat belt in my car or truck, but someone on a motorcycle doesn't have to wear a helmet--it someone has an explanation i want to hear it!!!

lol...another law that just got passed is pretty silly, imo...you can't smoke within 8 feet of a building entrance....what are they going to do, have a cop with a tape measure....

it is my opinion that no new law should be written until they are capable of enforcing existing laws, if a law is unenforceable either amend it or get rid of it!!! this is why pot is being decriminalised, the powers that be finally understand they can't enforce it.

Personally I believe in 6 principles that I learned from the late John wooden. (Not personally, but through his books I read before I had my own kids)

1. Never lie
2. Never cheat
3. Never steal

4. Don't whine
5. Don't make excuses
6. Don't complain.

6 very simple concepts I try to instill into my children. Very basic ideas that children can understand and should lead to a morally and productive member of society.

Kansas is the same way. Strict seatbelt laws and no helmet law.. Total hypocrisy.

Hell, pot aside, what about Hemp? The strongest natural fiber there is is illegal.. Partially because Dupont spends money to lobby against it. And am back to the same drum I always beat.

The corporate take over of our country.

Lol... Kansas speed limit is higher than California. I was like wtf?!

If you've ever been through Kansas it makes perfect logical sense why it would be higher. Even if you haven't it makes sense.

I've been through it twice and it doesn't make sense. Flat land?

About 1/10 of the amount of cars, buildings, geographical variations, etc. going 100mph for 100 miles is possible especially if you're driving at night.

Driving through flat land feels like forever!
