breakbeat, 80's, trivium, senses fail

Trivium - good one man!

Cant go wrong with Pantera, Slipknot, Korn, and Slayer. After blaring heavy metal in your ears for hours at a time.. nothing else compares. I just gotta upgrade to harder stuff!

Yup harder stuff ftw!

Roy Orbison, Sinhead O Conner, and Snow.

On a serious note, As I Lay Dying, Parkway Drive, Slayer, Lamb if God, Bleeding Through, Emmure, and lately Above This has done the job. Heavy music = heavy weights. Giddyup

I like blackmill too not as hard as nectar or glitch but chill... Not for lifting mind u

Blackmill would be my post workout music. Norah Jones frequents that role

I listen to anything that helps me tune out what the gym pumps out over the speakers. Usually it's dub step or metal, but I often listen to Texas country or oldies as well. I listen to just about everything except the new crap that's out now a days.

Meshuggah one of the most fun mosh pits I have ever been in.

You guys have brought up some great memories for me. I'm 40, so I definitely dig all the 80's metal. Maiden, Priest, any Metallica from Justice for all & before that.. Motorhead, Skid Row, G&R, LA Guns, Pantera, RATT, Ozzy, (and definitely Black Label Society).. Some of the newer stuff I dig is Killswitch - my curse; that dude's got some pipes.. STP, & Velvet Revolver, Mudvayne & Hellyeah. I got my parents hooked on Hellyeah a couple years back! My mom is 70 & dad is 66 & they friggin rock out to them & BLS!!

for cardio, it's all techno & 80's new wave. Depeche Mode, New Order, The Smiths/Morrissey, Erasure, Ferry Corsten, DJ DLG, Tiesto, Warp Brothers.. Damn, I could go on all day..

Im a metalcore junkie all around if you like heavy, heres some metalcores, mostly are new albums.

Parkway Drive - All Albums
August Burns Red - All Albums
Memphis May Fire
Miss May I - At heart
Stick To your Guns - Diamond
For all those sleeping - Outspoken
The Plot in You
The Devil Wears Prada - Zombie Ep & Dead Throne
WhiteChapel - WhiteChapel (Deathcore)
Within The Ruins
Texas in july - One Reality
LifeRuiner
I The Breather - Truth an Purpose
For Today - very versy, (christian band) - Album = Breaker & immortal
Casino Madrid - Robots (techno, heavy metal)
Adestria - Chapters
We Came as Romans - understanding what we've grown to be
Volumes - Via
Upon a Burning Body - Red White green
The Acacia Strain - All albums
The Ghost inside - Get what you give

All come with some sort of deep vocals, heavy rifts, brutal breakdowns.
