DangerDave said:Yeah pct is the part that decides what you keep. For me the hard part is going from being so Alpha for 16 weeks and being able to lift 2 a days or lifting 5+ days straight to doing 3 day splits and lifting lighter.
Because test is low and cortisol is high in pct you don't want to break your muscles down in the gym. If you do then your body doesn't have the right hormones to repair them and catabolism is increased. You have to lift on that fine line of exercising the muscles but not breaking them down. You need to work em to push nutrients and keep them fed though.
There is so much that goes into pct. I have had great ones and also failed miserably and lost a lot of gains. Its different person to person but some stuff is universal. Use a SERM, test booster, Estrogen control and maybe something to help cortisol levels. A solid lifting plan and diet is key too. Can't be the same workout as you did on cycle.
Thanks bro for all the good info! I have clomid, and arimidex. Not sure of a good test booster, and also I was gunna start taking arimidex week 4 of my cycle. But not showing any signs of gyno yet. It can decrease estrogen, stimulate LH and FSH and slightly elevate IGF-1 levels. Now side effects of high estrogen go beyond gyno. They can include water retention, loss of libido (so can to low of estrogen), gyno, progesterone sides (more seen with compounds like deca or Tren) and emotional mood swings.
I personally HATE water retention and bloat. I cant stand it and it gives a false sense of gains. Me being the shallow prick I am.. I get upset when I loss alot of weight if I am not cutting and its depressing. So i dont like water retention because it goes away fast. Now with that said... some water retention and bloat is ok. If you dry yourself out too much while trying to gain or recomp you will dry your joints and risk having serious joint pain. It all comes back to finding your sweet spot. Here is how I found mine...
1. dose Adex at 1mg ED for 7 days or until you feel it in your joints (they will feel dry).
2. drop the dose to .5mg EOD for 7 days. If your joint are fine after a few days that is your sweet spot. If not read on
3. If after step 2 you still feel like your joints are dry drop to .25mg EOD and see how your joints feel after a few days.
Remember you cant use arimidex and nolva at the same time. Use exemestane in PCT because it is a suicidal Aromatase Inhibitor and you cant get estrogen rebound from it.
Thanks Dave, I have noticed I'm very dry rite now and my joints are killing me. I can get the exemestane too so I need to run it in pct with my clomid. How would I run that I think I can get 25 mg and 12.5 mg. Hope u don't mind me asking so many ?s lol also I've wondered why ppl talk down on running decca in ur first few cycles cause I wanted to run it in my 2nd. With that said I still havnt seen what the test is gunna do this time so I might b happy with running this cycle again but more like u with higher doses of test e and longer period. But not sure why decca so bad, I've seen ppl make awesome gains from it and it lubes the joints just thought I would throw that out there cause u have more than enough knowledge lol thanks for ur time bro

Deca is frowned upon in first cycles because of sides. the sides arent bad but lets say for a first cycle you run test and deca at a resonable dose. You get sides of gyno. How do you know what from? Do you want to take an AI and a dopamine antagonist at the same time? If that stops it how do you know what compound caused it? If you dont know what compound caused it then in future cycles you might run into it again. I know after this cycle that my sweet spot for Test E is around 750mg, Dbol at 40mg and Winny at 40mg. I know exactly how my body reacts to both and what sides to expect both good and bad. Now I can start bringing in more compounds into future cycles. If new sides I have not experienced pop up I can attribute it to the new compounds and treat them from that angle instead of a shotgun blast approach. Its frowned upon because of inexperience of the user with the compounds not because of the actual compounds. Test sides are usually from aromatization and deca sides are progesterone related. Both manifest almost the same and can trick you but are treated differently. Armidex will control estrogen but will not stop lactation from your nipples. while Caber (a dopamine antagonist) will stop the progestrone sides (lactation) but not aromatization.
Now that I know what to expect from the compounds I ran my next cycle I will try Test, Tren and maybe Masterone with a anadrol kicker to see how all of the compounds treat me. Over the next 2 years I will try just about everything by running 8-12 week cycles and then I will start building a 5-8 year plan of how I will run compounds to start competing in fitness and bodybuilding. All of it is long term goals but I am doing my due dilegence in learning now instead of failing in a contest prep because I got impatient.

I took second in the strongman... and I was the littlest guy lol. I'm stoked about how I did but I payed the price. A few days after I couldn't move my arm and I had some serious shoulder pain. I had to go to the ER. apparently I seperated a muscle in my shoulder from the tissue that holds it together or some crazy sh*t. I took some time off from hitting upper body for a week and did cardio and leg workouts.
Came back and started hitting upper body again. The shoulder is kinda sore but nothing major and the Doctors gave me the ok to start lifting again.
I am gunna post my workout progress and stuff this weekend. I am taking care of the last of the "thing" that has been going on and I am back to the usual schedule stuff.
