What's up with Yohimbe/Yohimbine?

I've been searching for a new PWO and noticing some people stating they want to avoid this.
Are there some sides from it I'm not aware of?

Some people can tolerate it and some can not.
Imo, alpha yohimbine is much better.
 
I believe a lot of people pass on it, but have never tried it. I also think you build a tolerance to any negative side effects the more you use it. Start with a half serving and assess your tolerance. The first time I tried a product with it I throw up (full serving) now I have used 2 different products with it at the same time, No Problem !! It's a great supplement, don't pass on it because you "Heard Some Bad Stuff".
 
Yohimbine HCL, if you use alone, or in a pre, make sure to use it away from food, away from insulin, to get the best effects from it.

Agreed with this. Just start at lower dosage and build your way up and you should be fine.
 
As a standalone Yohimbine HCL start with 2.5mg and work your way up to .2mg/kg. This is best used in a fasted state when insulin is not present. This is to help with stubborn fat and as a fat loss agent.

when added in a pre-workout is a powerful stimulant that offers an extra edge to the stim kick, and a bit of fat loss benefits as well. Specifically, yohimbine is effective for blocking fat storage and suppressing appetite

Possible Sides:
- Shivers
- Raise in Bodytemp
- Cold Sweats
- Shaking

If you feel any of the above slowly ramp up your dosage and see if they continue, if they do then I would try Alpha-Yohimbine (Rauwolscine), which may give less sides.

I used it to help lose a tonne of fat a couple of years ago. Would take it first thing in an empty stomach with a 200mg caffeine pill. Then walk very briskly to work ( just under 3 miles). I could handle 20mgs. I would get the sides but strangely enjoy them, always like to feel something working... Within reason.

I'm about to start a bulking cycle (eating 3500+ cals/day) so if this is a legit part of Yohimbine than maybe I better avoid it.

(Side note... I've also read DMAA inhibits appetite. Been taking that as part of my pwo for years and never really noticed any appetite change).

For some reason I get worse sides from Alpha Yohimbine then the standard.

there is a huge difference in quality from one brand to another when it comes to ycl and A-Y.

it could be the quality of the A-Y is higher than YCL?
 
Yeah I agree. There is Alpha Y where I literally did not feel anything at like 5 caps @ 3mg and others where 3mg were already pretty nice. Same for Yohimbe/Yohimbine.

I had the worst sweats and cold fever stuff going on with 8% standardized Yohimbe Bark from India. Could almost not handle it. Good Times :D

Apparantly there is a lot of Y out there is is very under dosed, or not Y at all.
 
Yohimbe is a mild MAOI and you can't mix MAOIs with anything without ****ty side effects. I steer clear of that **** but a lot of people like it so
 
It's claimed that EAA destroy the fat burning properties of Yohimbine.
So approx, how long to wait to take Yohimbine after you have take dose of EAA's on empty stomach?

Btw, while I can only speak for myself, 3mg of Yohimbine HCL has me humping like a machine. The endurance and energy make for a morning of both of us being sore.
 
Random thoughts without quoting a lot of the things in the thread.

The Solution gave a good list of possible sides from Yohimbine that some people feel.
(I myself have flu like symptoms from Yohimbine and feel like Alpha Yohimbine is much better).

I agree with the Solution that 2.5 mg. is the way to start out on Yohimbine HCI for people wanting to try it.
That's why SNS makes its Yohimbine 2.5 product (100 caps/2.5 mg. per capsule).

SNS makes Yohimbine 2.5 and also makes an Alpha Yohimbine product (90 caps/1.5 mg. per capsule).

Something to consider is that unfortunately some brands have used high dose Yohimbine instead of real Alpha Yohimbine in products because real Alpha Yohimbine is a very expensive raw material. (This really sucks for people like me that feel terrible after taking regular Y).

I've noticed that.
Have used both AY and Y for years and feel the difference very easy.
Imo AY is the best of the two but as you said, it's not easy to get your hands on the real AY, especially in the EU.
I've recognized three legit brands of AY.
SNS, Olympus Labs and Analyzed Supplements Target A2(not around anymore)
Pure Labs have taken the name "Target A2" for their AY product, but it's not even close as potent as the old Target A2.
I've recently purchased a bottle of 11-hydroxy-Yohimbine.
It will be interesting to see how it works.

same, I actually get better erections from ycl than Viagra and even though some might find it hard to believe-I get less sides from ycl than Viagra...I only get 9 Viagra every 3 months, so I use a splitter and often use a 1/4 of a Viagra[25mg]along with 3 grams of ycl--boom baby!!!
