Yhcl vs AY

If you can tolerate both which is better? I know you must dose YCHL pretty high, how bout AY?
 
Are we talking about Yohimbine hydrochloride vs. alpha yohimbine...

I've seen ppl dose yohimbine hcl at 10-100mg a day, personally I was doing 10mg 3x day and I also did 25mg pre workout only fasted in the morning. I don't think I tried too much more then that.

I have not used the alpha yohimbine but I see it's reccomended dose is only like 1.5mg or something like that
 
Yes I have used up to 25mg yhcl pre fasted workout. Wondering if AY at 1.5-3mg is as effective at abdominal fat loss.
 
I don't honestly believe anything can target specific areas for fat loss, but it's my understanding that 1.5mg is about=to roughly 25-30mg hcl in terms of overall fat loss. It also seems to bring on the other benefits at that dose. Again I'm basing this off the research I've done and not real world experience. My only experience is with the straight yohimbine they use to sell back in the day and the yohimbine hcl. I don't even know what the difference between those is.

Honestly I'd just start taking 1.5 fasted in the morning, give it a week or 2 and bump it up to 3mg and go for there.

Limited experience on the topic sorry. I'm interested to see results tho. I've always liked yohimbine.

Alpha Y is supposed to be more selective, so fewer side effects. I think that’s probably the biggest difference. I think supposed to be able to use a smaller dose, but that’s been talked about already.
 
I take AY twice per week before long bouts of fasted cardio, with caffeine and a low dose of nootropic. Today I bumped it up from 2mg to 3mg. The first few doses of 2mg felt like plenty, and my fight or flight response is already too active, but after a few weeks I got used to the feeling. Blood pressure spiked the first couple times but after I started taking hawthorne berry it has stayed within healthy range. 3mg is as high as I think I'll go. Overall I'm a fan, sides are now minimal and it seems to effectively trigger more fat usage for energy based on my timed experiments with ketone test strips. Whether or not it can target stubborn fat, I have no idea. SNS AY capsules it at 1.5mg so that's a good start. Don't have any experience with Y hcl but the above advice seems good.

it is not, there is zero data showing this

it is yohimbine hcl or nothing, also they do not cause fat loss, yohimbine hcl is an α2-adrenoceptor antagonist. It increases blood flow, which in turn helps mobilize the fatty acids from "stubborn areas" which are stubborn because they are in an area that receives poor blood flow. i.e. if you are not already really lean and trying to get super lean it doesn't do much nor is it necessary

It was my understanding that our adrenal glands produce catecholamins in response to stress, which in turns binds to the beta receptors, the fat cells mobilize, and then and fat burning occurs. But unlike the beta receptors, when they bind to alpha-2 receptors in the fat cells, the cells don’t mobilize, inhibiting fat burning.

So theoretically because of its role as an alpha-2 antagonist, by blocking alpha-2 receptors, it should create a better environment for burning and losing fat.

Damn I've forgotten about amp citrate. I used to love that stuff.

Not sure, no matter what I take or if I take nothing im always drenched doing cardio. For cardio I'm usually either doing rounds on a heavy bag or sparring, sometimes wrestling. Very rarely do I do low intensity cardio

1.5 mg. to 3 mg. is widely regarded as the effective dose for real Alpha Yohimbine.

Alpha Yohimbine has the potential to help with abdominal fat loss. There are some people that will say that no ingredients target fat loss in specific areas - but its not that the ingredient is saying woohoo, I'm going to burn fat right there and point at someone's abs - its that the ingredient is generally more effective for burning a specific type of fat, in this case, the type that happens to be stored by most people in the abdominal region.

If you tolerate it you should be fine to stick to Y-hcl. It should be cheaper (I haven't checked recently though apologies if not) and much easier to get your hands on.

Alpha Y shouldn't be more effective, it usually just should be less likely to produce side effects for many.

Regular Yohimbine HCI is cheaper mg. per mg. but can wind up being more expensive for people that find that they have to take higher dosages because even though cheaper mg. per mg. some people take so many mg. of it.

I love the energy from Alpha Yohimbine but I can't take regular Yohimbine at all.

I don't think that they've ever been studied head to head for a direct comparison.

Alpha Yohimbine is a great option for people that can't take regular Yohimbine HCI and gives a much cleaner energy feeling to most people.

For fat loss, I think the main benefit of Alpha Yohimbine over Yohimbine HCI is that people that can't take the HCI form may be able to use it and that it's much stronger mg. for mg. than the HCI form.
