so i have a question on the suppliment facts, those who own the tub of xtend .. is this the right profile ..

Supplement Facts

Amount Per Serving % DV*
Calories 40
Calories From Fat 0
Total Fat 0 g 0%
Saturated Fat 0 g 0%
Cholesterol <0 mg 0%
Total Carbohydrates 0 g 0%
Dietary Fiber 0 g
Sugars 0 g
Protein 10 g 20%
L-Leucine 3.5 g
L-Isoleucine 1.75 g
L-Valine 1.75 g
L-Glutamine 2.5 g
Vitamin B6 10 mg
Citrulline Malate 1 g

10g of protein also ? i google'd and found this, but when i went to NP to buy it .. it only listed the Amino Acid's supplements. Just curious, because i have found some flaws(servings) on couple of the items listed on NP.. thanks for the help.

I believe they classify the BCAA, Glutamine, and the Citrulline portion of CM as protein.

3.5+1.75+1.75+2.5+0.5 = 10

It's 10g of total amino acids, but those amino acids are broken down into the simplest form (which is amino acid). If you have 10g of protein, then you have 10g of amino acids, because they're coagulated in such a way that forms the structure of protein molecules.

So wherever you got that is technically incorrect, because if you have 10g of protein, then you have 10g of amino acids, but if you have 10g of amino acids(and this is the case) you don't necessarily have 10g of protein.

My container only shows the portion above.

They are not required by law to list indirect calories (through amino acid impact, guconeogenesis, individual aminos, etc.). The sweeteners are all non-caloric.

L-Leucine 3.5 g
L-Isoleucine 1.75 g
L-Valine 1.75 g
L-Glutamine 2.5 g
Citrulline Malate 1 g

Like d-sade said, adding the amino acid numbers is probably where the "10g protein" comes from.

Protein 10 g
L-Leucine 4 g
L-Isoleucine 2 g
L-Valine 2 g
L-Glutamine 3 g
Citrulline Malate 1 g

In this label, there is the 10 g protein figure, but they rounded the amino acid values to the nearest gram.

Protein is 4 calories per gram, so one serving of Xtend should be about 40 cals.
