Xbox Live...

Bad Company was pretty badass. Great sounding game, one of the best hands down

you heard bout the demo? hitting xbox live on jan 25, 27 something like that,... heard bout it on g4 when flippin channels and came across that game show reviewing RE5..... said its supposed to be like 2 demo levels,.. .thats only a few days away.:fing02:

I don't know if its because my friend's girlfriend has a Japanese X-Box live account, but I've already demo'd RE5, quite awhile ago, around December I believe. Also, a game called Ninja Blade is quite unique. The RE5 two player co-op reminded me of L4D, but with more action options.

We're talking about Resident Evil 5 right?

There is a 'Boston Steamer Free-for-All Mode, though; play to the fifth level to get the Candid Candy Cane option. I refuse to ruin the surprise as to what it is, as it is the only exciting portion of the game.

just renewed my xbox live so happy :D

off topic but i just realized that new xboxs have HDMI but mine does not...WTF that single cable is so convenient i want to have HDMI on mine :(

yeah but like mullet said, its still only 720p. and the component cables get 720p. theyre also much cheaper.

haha i kno i just have an HDMI cable and tv and think i would definitely be cooler in real life if i could hook my xbox up with it. LOL

not really a big deal at all...i was looking at IGNs new line up for xbox games this year and i got slightly excited :)

Yes, I am trying to confirm that. I was under the impression the XBOX's hardware was incapable of rendering in 1080p. This being said, on the back of L4D, it claims it is capable of outputting in 1080p. More investigation needed!

The only thing that freaks me out in that game are the damn Tanks and strategically/detrimentally placed Witches.

and on expert on those fat bastards that spit on you become elite, special force snipers.
 
Demo for RE5 in a couple days? NICE! I will probably check that one out! Not sure why they would wait this long to put it out though, but oh well.

haha true true,....

lol pissed off some guys the other night on vs....... i stood in front of the witch as a boomer, and one of the guys shot me, covered his team in goo,..... he died b/c he shot the witch as well, and the rest of my team snagged the other guys all at once,..... all went down in like 10 secs,..... ahaha:dance:

As much as my friends and I murder that game on Co-Op, I've yet to play the Vs Mode.
 
question: has any body heard of people using a wireless usb adapter to connect their xbox? this is assuming it is a plug and play adapter.

microsoft sells an anttena I think it goes for about $100 on ebay... I have my xbox piggy backed off my labtop..work great.. I only did this because I only had enought money for either 2 games or something my labtop already had.. so i went with gears2 and left for dead.. :)

yeah thats what ive been doing with cross over cable i had laying around from when i use to FTP sh1t to my modded xbox1.

looks like ill be using this method for a while.
 
Microsoft wireless adapter for 360 for $89 at best buy. Ethernet is the best,...... but there is also supposed to be wireless plugins you can get on ebay that you plug into the wall,.... hook the ethernet from your router(if in another room)into it and it is wirelessly connected to a plugin in the same room as your xbox, which you then plug into that 360. sells for like 30-$40,.. and faster than reg. wireless router Microsoft sells,(comparable to Ethernet speed i think).. but i never looked it up,.. could get that.
 
from what I can gather if you upgrade your 360 software online you can get it to run 1080p... otherwise i believe its at 1080i... of course, you wont get squat out of it unless you're using HDMI cabling

I was shocked to learn that apparently the nintendo wii only produces a 480p resolution... man thats OLD SCHOOL ....

The update should technically only be available for the Elite-version though. Or, I should say, really only matters for the Elite version.
 
then doesnt really apply to me i got mine as soon as it came out here in oz...
o well i dont mind
quality is nice as it is
my brother plays it, if i get an urge to shoot things then its all cod4/cod5 on the pc
 
so whats up with a gears night? let get a huge team together and go and kick some online ass!!!!!!!!
