X-Factor or X-Factor Advanced?

Thanks for that. I thought that considering both were being discussed within the context of this thread that someone could give me a concise answer. However, I could always search through countless threads that degenerate into tangents of a juvenile, nut-hugging nature. I have appreciated your feedback greatly in the past. Not so much this time.

Who is this directed at?

Coop of all people. Everyone will probably tear me a new one now considering I challenged God.

Noone will but understand that Coop is a busy man who does his best to provide input despite not being obliged to :D

Tin Gorilla, if you are confused regarding which version to use, these are my personal thoughts:

X-Factor original is your go to if you have no pre existing joint issues.

X-Factor Advanced is your go to if you are concerned about potential joint pain.

The best stackers, with both versions are: glycerol monostearate (for emulsification purposes), a carnititine source such as LCLT (can be found in our Peak Beta+) to reduce platelet aggregation, and test boosters.

I know fish oil was brought up earlier, but I usually strive for 9 grams of fish oil (around 5-6 grams of EPA/DHA using Orange Triad). Is this too much to take in the evening if I train fasted at 5-6am?

That is a lot, I wouldn't even bother taking ArA at that point.

Absolutely, taking 9g of fish oil will hinder your X-Factor results. Taking 1 or 2g, however, will not.

For what it's worth, I just finished two bottles of XFA. I gained at least 3lbs of LBM. I went up 7lbs on the scales but I assume some of that is water/glycogen. I'm just as lean as I was when I started XFA (possibly leaner). I worked out 4 times per week and dosed 1.5g (6 caps) pre-workout only on lifting days.

I also experienced about a 10-12% strength gains on most lifts. Strength gains were understandably higher on compound lifts vs isolation lifts.

Next time I use ArA, I will use OG version, but XFA works like a charm.

Stellar feedback!

Why the that much?

Tried an experiment for the past few days if mega dosing aids in weight loss or any other pronounced health benefits. Kiefer also suggests an upward of 10 grams to boost anabolism, but he's a bit of a nut.

I've ran arachidonic acid in the past with ABE. This time around I'm much leaner and in control of my diet, so I think I'll just run a bottle or two pre workout year round with a 4 to 5 week off period.

Another great thread guys, much appreciated!!

Always happy to help. You'll be very pleased with either version, no other natural products can compare.

This probably sounds dumb, but because of the strength gains associated with ArA would one not dose on a de-load week if only utilizing it pre workout?

I would still use during your deload week, rather than interupt your cycle for a week.

Hmm... okay.

I don't do the traditional 50 day workout cycle. Instead I just supplement 2 bottles (the equivalent of 25-30 workouts), then take a month and repeat. I'm just in the beginning of this cycle, but I guess it won't hurt.

A longer cycle will surely be more effective, try a 50 workout cycle. The cumulative results with dosing ArA make the gains really build upon themselves... I'd say you're ending your cycle just as it's really getting good. If you've been enjoying it thus far, you'll really like it when you use a 50 workout cycle as suggested.

Will do then.

To derail the convo a bit, has anyone tried using vegetable glycerin rather than GMS as an emulsifier?

I havent heard of anybody trying that. From a quick google search, it doesnt seem to be as popular for emulsifying oils as GMS is. I'd stick w GMS.

That's because GMS is easier to handle being it's a dry powder. Glycerin is liquid which is a pain in the butt. They both work the same though.

I have it on my laptop, so I'll edit this post when I get home, but there were some threads about 10 years back here on users trying out liquid glycerol. It basically works the same. The only thing that was never resolved was whether liquid glycerol had an affect on insulin levels because it was so sweet. We obviously know now that GMS does not affect insulin.

AH, ok. So that could be the difference apart from liquid vs. dry powder.
