Chiming in with my experience..

My initial impression after waking up from it for the first time was
damn.

Most vivid detailed dreams I've ever had.

Dream Example:
In one part of the dream i was disarming a bomb. I can remember the colors of the wires, the details of what chemicals and the trigger as well as the number on the timer.

in another part.. I was repairing a cellphone for my girlfried for some reason.. and I can remember the smallest details like the kind of torx screws and the parts on the circuit board.

Waking up... not the least bit groggy. got clear headed in less than a minute although so relaxed I was tempted to go back to sleep and start dreaming again.

its strange because I almost never remember my dreams.

It feels like better sleep then I've had via Ambien, Lunesta, Benzos, Melatonin, Seroquel, Valerian root, etc.

all of those leave me groggy, unmotivated, or brain foggy/congnitively impaired as hell in the morning.

I'm having similar vivid dream experiences.
