Ha this is my 1st competition to dude. What weight class you doin?

Im not sure. I plan to weigh around 165-168 by the meet. I'm not expecting to win anything, I just want to compete.

I hear 155 is the hardest weight class, and I have heard 175 is easy. Hopefully I can make 170, if not 165.

I just needed to put some weight on this winter so I don't end up cutting down to 145 in the spring.

155 is the lowest I will ever go.

I would love to be a lean 185 by the end of the year. And if I end up being 5'10, thats what I plan to stay at throughout high school.
 
Nice goals man. I'm going to do the 135 weight class, aiming for 1st. You don't see much highschoolers that weigh as little as me lifting as much as me lol.

135 should be fairly easy yet still a challenge Good luck!

Lot's of wrestlers have an advantage because they know how to lift hard while losing weight. It's something I know I won't do. I need my food. lol

What are your numbers for the core lifts?
 
Umm.. right now since I'm recovering from the shoulder still my bench is low.

Bench-190
Squat-250-300 (havn't maxed yet)
Deadlift- I do 225 for 10 reps.. so probly in same range as squat

That's pretty good. I was putting the same numbers up when I was a freshmen. Your bench is a little higher. Good job bro.
 
Thanks man, before the injury I could probably max 205.. I was doing 185 for 5 reps and was thinking of trying 190 for 5 the next week then.. injury. Lol. Whats your lifts right now?

Man that blows. My knee injury happened the same way. I can run, squat, leg press, but when I bend down at ceartin angles or go to far or to heavy on squats, it hurts. I was squatting one day in the summer and put to much weight on and I went to far. Nasty stuff. But before that same fat guy tackled me in backyard football. That started it all.

Bench - 190lbs x 4, 205lbs x 1 (215lbs with spot)
Deadlift -385lbs x 3, 415lbs x 1
Squat - 265lbs x 4 (Haven't tired to max out)

Nice man those are some high numbers. My goals are

205-210 x1 bench (shouldn't be hard to get it back up again..)
300-315 x1 squat (that'll be the hard one to get)
315 x1 deadlift
 
Day 29

Ups- Workout was thru the roof, really intense, endurance increase. Especialy during practice.. sprints were almost nothing today!

Downs- Zits.

Same here with the squats. I only put up 275 3 times today. I still have 40lbs to go.
 
Day 30

Ups- Great workout, lot more weight on 1 arm tri pull downs! Sprints and jump rope was easy as hell today also.

Downs- Zits

Ups- OH MY GOD! That's all I can.. unbelievable back workout today, flexed in the mirror and all there was were ripples and all the good stuff like I've been wanting.. wish I had a camera to show all you!

Day 32

Ups- crazy ass workout! Did bi's and legs today, bi's were insane! I wish I could stay on X forever.. leg press was crazy today too, warm up was 180 for 20 reps and ended up my last set was 360 for 10 reps like it was nothing! Was gonna up the weight but the gym was closing in 5 min.. I've been agressive as hell in the gym and practice the past week or too also.

Downs- Zits

Oh also there was atleast 5 people staring at me (this is at World Gym) when I was working out today.. it was crazy. And I met Mr. Ohio and was talking to him for a little bit about biceps so that was great.

I want to buy X-factor so bad now becuase of your results. But with baseball coming up in a month and it basically not stopping until October, I dont need any added DOMS. Maybe next winter..

Glad my log made you want to try it, great product! But to the DOMS, their not that bad. I mean yeah their there, but if I can handle it during a wrestling practice then it shouldn't be a factor at all during baseball.

But yes, you deffinitly should give this a run when you find the right time!

Ups- Good workout, great chest pumps. Still pissed about my strength going down tho! It's coming back.. plus I just changed back to the 10 rep range instead of 5 so going to have to adjust to that also.

Downs- Zits.

dont get discouraged man. my lifts have gone down a bit too. keep looking towards the long-term! :dl:

Ups- Pretty good back workout, not as good as last weeks but still pretty damn good! Insane pump going. I'm just sitting here imagining how awesome it would be for a longer cycle haha.

Downs- Zits.

Ups- Insane workout, no school today so I decided to do a double workout. Great pumps, focus, agressiveness.

Ups- Oh my god dude, I thought my tri's were going to explode during my workout! The pump was really painful but I loved every second of it!

How are the DOMS?

Thanks bro. Yeah zits suck.. so do DOMS. My tri's are still sore as hell from thursday. Don't think I'll be able to walk the rest of the week either from my leg workout today haha. New record on leg press.

naw just baseball. I have some speed. just it doesnt last very long. lol

man i can only do like 90lbs 8 times but I stopped curling though for quite a while. I cant do nearly that much now. During baseball though I will be curling a lot since there isnt much else to do.

Depressed.. only a few days left :sad::frustrate

Ups- Now that I've started my cut I've leaned out considerably the past few days.. this stuff is amazing for whatever your goal is! Great workout today, very intense, endurance, strength and vascularity.

Downs- Zits are actualy going away..

Ups- Great workout, only down part is I hate my home gym with a passion.. it makes chest day a *****! Well good workout otherwise, endurance, leaned out even more, vascularity, everythings great.

Downs- Still a few zits poppin up.. and my joints have been bugging me lately.
