What are some good rock songs for powerlifting I want something that gets me in the zone I trying to put a playlist together I need help

All that remains : "two weeks"
Pantera: "walk"
Perfect Circle: "counting bodies to the rhythm of the war drum"
Hollywood undead: "undead"

Those are my favorites, make your fuggin toes curl!!

Tool: sober. Pantera: walk. Hollywood undead: undead. All that remains: two weeks. Anything by Hatebreec

Have to Agree with Wrivest!!
TOOL all the way!!
Get your hands on 'Aenima' (album)
Songs like.... Eulogy, 46and 2, Stinkfist, Push it!
The whole albums off it's head!
It's actually the only Rock album I have on my Training list!! A Must!!

Shinedown-second chance, diamond eyes, call me
LIT-my own worst enemy
Kanye West-Clique (if you like hip hop)
Kid Rock-Devil Without a Cause
Limp Bizkit-Rollin, Nookie
Hoobastank-the reason
Drowning Pool-Bodies
Blink 182- What's my Age Again

Here's what you actually need.

Every HATEBREED record every written. All of the songs can pretty much be related to lifting, and they make you focus so hard. Also Harm's Way "No God's No Master's ", heaviest songs ever and they are actually about lifting and becoming stronger.

Tool is too melodic for training and that's coming from someone who's seen them live 5 times. It's great for cardio, but not a 1RM.

Hatebreed's "Live for This," "Facing What Consumes You," and "Destroy Everything" get me rolling along with Lamb of God's "Redneck," "Again We Rise," and "Blacken The Cursed Sun" rev me up.

I agree somewhat with Tool being too melodic, but I still rock a few songs while lifting. I listened to this yesterday.

I've seen them 9 times as well. Best live show hands down.

I should've specified that it's too melodic for a max effort as there isn't a huge crescendo in most of their tracks. "The Grudge" or "Stinkfist" have a decent one, but it's mainly Maynard's voice that lowers the poer for me. His voice is so unique that it puts me in a quasi-trance and gets me into a good groove for rep training and cardio.

Yeah, good point. I'm doing Mtn. Dog training currently and Tool works great with it IMO.

i'll add mudvayne's "the end of all things" album and primer 55's "introduction to mayhem". your welcome :-)

Natural has it going on with tool... Good stuff man.
Hvactech- totally agree, anythiing from atreyu helps me get my last reps in. Nothing like a nice heavy breakdown at the end of a workout or when your lacking moto
