With AGE I'm loosing FORCE, time to MAXIMIZE!

Thank you wicked and djbombsquad! I went to the doctor yesterday and he told me the same thing as the surgeon at the hospital. 1-2 centimeters more into my ulna nerve and I'd have paralysis to my hand. So it's a bummer, but I'm thankful at the same time! I know the healing power of the patch, so I'm praying for some more of its magic :) unfortunately, I will not be posting about any more 20+ set workouts. But I have already ordered more patches and will post more after this 60 days about healing. Of course will continue for now as well.

My arm is still a mess, so no workouts to speak of. I know there won't be any for a while either. Gets me a lil bummed when I think about it. I enjoy lifting when I'm healthy. It releases our endorphins, serotonin, dopamine, and others that are our God given happy drugs. I think all of us here also like looking and feeling strong. Making gains with weight on the bar, pant waist getting looser, t-shirt getting smaller (in the right spots), wife doing a double take with a feather fluffing comment, a friend you haven't seen in a while refluffing our feathers....... All good stuff! Not many things on this Earth that make us feel this good and are healthy at the same time. I'm very thankful to Ageforce for giving me my old back back,,,,Can you say that correctly? "back back", I sound like a chicken with horrible grammar :stupid:.... Anyhow, I guess I need to clean deer in body armor next time. Ageforce does not make any claims to fix stupid! :)

You are a good man Thoms! Even though u have a minor setback, you will come back stronger!

Good time to focus on legs

I think that sounds more fun for you to say than it looks like in my head ;-) "Oh yay, just did legs...and it's leg day again"! :yuck: lol
I actually have started doing that. My favorite leg exercise is squats and I'm leery of putting much weight on my back due to hand strength. Limited, but causing me to be more creative :) Thanks for the optimistic thoughts!

Stay positive .

Good reminder, and I'm trying to. I realize that I'm lucky to still have an almost fully functioning hand. Bummed out though because the patch had just given me a healthy back again, and I was loving throwing around the iron with injuries forgotten. Won't be doing that again for quite a while :sad3: . I went to the neurologist two days ago who ran me through tests that would probably now be considered too inhumane at Guantanamo Bay! lol They put electrodes on me and shocked me a butt load of times. Put needles into my muscles, and between my fingers (these were fun), connected to wires to get readings of how my nerve was functioning. As I would have guessed, I had delayed conduction down the nerve, and in some areas none at all. The doc said that sometimes the function comes back and the pain goes away, and other times it doesn't. Not trying too boo-hoo here too much, unless anyone's offering a shoulder and a Kleenex :) I do want y'all to know why my log isn't as spunky now, and will not have anymore good workouts.... The continued positive however, my back is still feeling great :fing02: ! I've though many times that I would like to go get another MRI. To me it only makes sense that some of the findings have had to of been healed. How else would the pain have gone away?!? I'm not $1000 worth of curious though :)

Wow that's crazy with all the wires and electrodes going through you like that. If anything the patches will continue to give you greater sleep and recovery!

I had a broken ankle for 8 months couldn't do crap . I know how it goes !

Today, not so smart. But that's not the first or last time I'll say that!:dunce:
Got home from work and my wife has had time off. I know this from the past, but I'm quickly relearning that her having time at home means Thoms honey-do list grows. So I'm out in the garage sanding end tables with my good arm and decide to fit in a few sets on the ol girl-flex. I only used the 50 lb bands for bench. Also did some curls, bent rows, and lateral raises. Felt frekin fantabulous! The only lift that caused much pain was the "bench press", so I altered to only the mid range portion of the lift, and this helped.
Short story long, I did WAY too many sets and reps and I'm paying for it now! I've had the thought a couple times this evening to go ahead and amputate! Not that bad, but dern close.
What impressed me though was that even with my layoff, I know the weight was light, but my stamina and mental drive were still there. I'm going to go ahead and chalk that up to the patch, no doubt. Because my only intentions of heading into the garage were to quickly knock out my punch sheet and get it done in time for a big nap.
I felt great after the workout, so I remained slave labor :) This is another benefit of the patch. The endorphin dump that is released from a workout will last a long time.
The latter part of the evening was filled with ice on my arm and a bunch of crybaby remarks. I'm a hurtin unit right now, but I'll still say it was worth it. Can't say that I'll do that much more until I heal further, but I am a guy, and I will sleep here in a minute.... I might be posting a workout in the morning!

hahaha I know how it is when the wife is home for a significant amount of time. The to do list definitely grows! As for your workout and recovery, the patch continues to work for u!

Thanks brother! I'm about to jump on a BOGO patch email that received. Since I think half of your clothing is patches , I know that your a great source of knowledge. Would you prefer I PM my questions, or post them here?

Hahahahahahha tis true brother! Either way works bro!

That's nice.
Yes, you Ageforce fellers are some good dudes! Every time I've emailed with a question, I've received a response the same day. I emailed support after getting the BOGO email. Steve emailed back in about a minute!..... Patches last 24 months, at room temperature, in the package, FYI for anyone out there :)

Yea Steve is a great guy and he will definitely get back to you real quick. This is why I wanted to associate myself with this company. They provide quick and excellent customer service, shipping is super fast, and their products work, period.

True, true, true, & true (was that the correct amount of trues?)!! You fit in perfectly with all that goodness going on over there :)

I've done a few upper body workouts in the last few days using djbombsquad s TUT training. I had no clue what TUT training was, but google knows! I didn't read too much on it, but quickly realized it's just what the name implies.BTW, back in the day djb, we called those negatives! lol So I'm using TUT with light weights and partial rep range. It has felt really good! as far as working out with a jacked up arm goes any how.
My injury and it's new condition has been diagnosed as "Complex Regional Pain Syndrome". Obviously nobody goes to bed at night and prays for a syndrome of any kind. But this one's really goofy. Not going much into it, but I've learned that it's not very understood with the nerve reaction, and there's not any cut and dry treatments. The same with the therapy. I found about 90% said do not do resistance training, but the other 10% had good arguments as to why it would work. So I'm going to continue this route because it makes sense to me. The light TUT training makes it feel better. Injuries need blood flow to heal, and I have more patches en route that are going to be my secret weapon! Maybe when I'm fully cured doing it this way the FDA will make the Ageforce patch a CRPS mandatory medication :)

I'm glad your doing okay. Sorry it I didn't explain what tut ment. Also the other thing I do is tension training which is harder than it looks . Also looking in to to muscle stimulation. Such as the power dot or complex to work out muscles with out moving your body .

No need to apologize, I was just smack talkin :) I did look up tut and that was my basic understanding of it though. Slow negatives and slow push or pull, depending on the exercise. Is this correct? Either way, I have not incorporated this thought pattern into my routine in so long it was almost forgotten. I've just been loading the bar or weight stack and doing as many as I could with that weight at one speed. So it was a great reeducation and perfect for my needs now with this injury. So I thank you for that and this other bit of knowledge. I'm guessing that you have used that device? Is it like a TINGE unit, where it sends electrical impulses?

Yes but the unit I have is ment for pt and muscle building

I can't handle TENS units anymore, feel free to call out my sissyness there. When I was in jr high my mom had back surgery and got one. I think the electric chair was still in use then too. Anyhow, my buddies and I would put it on different parts of our bodies and see who could take the most power. The forearm was always fun because it would squeeze our hands shut and we could not open. So that, coupled with being shocked by regular electricity 100's of times, my brain doesn't like the feeling. I tried one with my back issues before I met Mr Maximize Patch (that's his full name).
Thanks for the info though. Someone else may have benifited from it, And Merry Christmas to all!!

Wait a second... did djbombsquad just show me male nipple, while talking about "units", as some sort of subliminal seduction?!? Because I only dig the chicks, have no problem what others do, but I have to admit I would be a tad flattered. The DJB looks like quite the handsome feller in his avatar. So either he was genuinely trying to help, or he mistook this log for thebigt 's log! :toofunny:
Still hurtin'. still liftin'. I got some high quality tension bands for Christmas. My wife got them so that we could have an on the go workout, but they have incorporated well with my needs lately. Using DJB's TUT methodoligy with them, and it is a good workout without beating on my injury as bad as free weights. I used them the first time a couple days ago at work. One way they can be used is one piece goes on the hinge side of the door in the crack, and then the door is shut to hold it. It has a hoop to hold the bands, and the other end has a larger almost ball shaped portion to help hold it on the other side of the door... Short story long, I'm getting a better than expected workout, good pump going, and starting to push it (no pun intended) with this band set. I was somewhere around the 40 lb and 30 lb (same time) range when the frightening thought hit me. For one thing, this is a hollow door, held to a particle board door jamb, with just a few short screws. Also, with this much tension on a big A rubber band, if someone opens this door I will get the heck smacked out of me! So either A a light door could unhinge and hit me in the back of the head, or B a coworker opens the door and gets a laugh at my expense and then tells everyone about me crying. A seemed to be the better choice, but luckily neither happened. I will choose my door more carefully next time! :)
Also on a coworker note, and about the Maximize Patch since I believe Ageforce still wants me to focus this log on that :). I mentioned before that I've become an unpaid patch salesperson. A buddy of mine at work mentioned that his wife has had chronic back pain for a long time. I told him about my success with the patch and my chronic back pain. After some education, he got his wife some patches. This was months ago, and I had pretty much forgotten about it..... About a week ago he said to me, "Hey my wife said that she loves you and she's never even met you". I remembered at that point knowing exactly what he was going to say next. He stated that her back pain has vanished! Chalk another satisfied spine up to Ageforce :fing02: (I will accept more patches as commission, haha)

been about a week on the patch, great sleep but no noticeable improvement in my knee--we will see!!!

BIGT! I had to call ya out because I missed your wonderfulness and you decided to start ignoring me. I know that you're a popular fella, but you can't give someone a steady dose of your awesomeness and then just pull it away. This site need a form of suitable withdrawal from thebigt if you're gonna be pulling that! Like how heroin users have methadone clinics :) Good to hear from you sir!

I understand, hope you had a great Christmas spoiling grand kids! Plus all that freak nasty, ching-chang-wallawallabingbang, Viagra laced whatever you were taking over on your log definitely kept you busy with the misses! :naughty: That makes for a happy holiday season and burns off the calories of the pumpkin pie, lol

I came home from work yesterday morning and did not get a wink of sleep Friday night/ Saturday morning. I had reports to write at the end of my shift, so I drank a bunch of coffee as well as some pre-workout. I came home with an agitated attitude, plenty of caffeine, and decided to work out first thing in the morning before a nap. I couldn't believe the energy that I had for my workout. I killed it, and was using weight that I had not used since prior to my arm injury. My arm injury/syndrome/whatever the heck you want to call it, is referred pain. I stab myself in the funny bone area, but all of my pain is in my hand and wrist area. So getting back to two plates on the bench was a painful process but I am quite certain it has been sped up due to the patch. So bench was one of my many full body workouts, and I was throwing two plates around like it was nothing. More so than pre injury.
I was feeling good and I was feeling strong so I came in and had a shower. My poor wife woke up and didn't realize that the limbo portion of the patch was at work also! Neither did I until that point, but I will say she got in her morning workout as well
I had a nap, put on the patch (I had not for 24 hrs), and went to bed shortly after for over 12 hours. Vivid dreaming, no doubt, last night!

Nice job. I will see what we can or can't do . In the future i will keep you in mind again .

That would be nice, thank you! It was mainly more of my flapping of gums joking around. Really I'm indebted to Ageforce for the first free round of patches. I've said many times in this log, but will say it again, y'all saved me from daily back pain. To go from daily back pain to nothing, I'm like the lion who forever owes the mouse for removing the pain in his paw. :) So I'm happy to tell of my success, I would not have tried the patch if I wasn't chosen as a Dirty Dozen member. So thank you again for that!
Smart business move too though on your part. Now I'm a lifelong customer spending money with y'all. Probably more importantly, a loud mouth that wants to tell everyone that what I think is awesome, they should too. Haha

This is the reason why we have our promotions. To turn the skeptics into believers. We definitely bet on ourselves knowing that there are literally hundreds of dollars of free products that are sent out. In the end...the skeptics see the results through continued use...

Well sir, an effective tactic for sure! :) I've noticed around the boards it's getting a lot of other naysayers thinking. I hope to see continued success for selfish reasons. I need Ageforce to do well so I don't loose my supply of the goods! Lol

Well it's been well over my 60 days. Time flies when your being healed and penetrating yourself with sharp objects at the same time!
I would like to thank Ageforce again for their generosity and quality of products. As you can see by my attachment, they turned this sceptic into a believer! (my recent investments)

A few days ago my doctor was very surprised when he saw my arm. He checked my left hand movement, looked up with a smile, and said, "I expected your pinkie finger to be stuck in place like this (finger rolled into palm)". He went on talking about based from my testing, his experiences with these injuries, my presentation, etc how pleased he was and how lucky I was to have my hand function.
I think my next appointment I'll let him know my secret :)
I'm going to post my review for the promotional run. I will get back on here and post more patch works of wonder as they happen with my arm.
Thank you also to everyone that partook on this journey with me and made it fun!
