Wilpit gets Athletic with Athletix's Titanuim

Day 9....

Horrible horrible day lol. A very busy schedule today so made it a rest day. Haven't had one in over a week so it felt like it was about time. I however screwed up and went to dinner with the fam, Indian food and then Dairy Queen. Diet went to hell and tomorrow is Father's Day so I don't know what will happen with that.

Macros are as best as I could focus out but I think I did a good job on getting them right.

Well that blizzard cost me 1,100 calories....insane. But it was good. Also, today being Father's Day messed up the diet. I made today a rest day as well bc I had to much family stuff to do. I woke up to breakfast in bed and it was macro friendly. I am back on my game tomorrow and working to get results these next few weeks.

I downed a bunch of beer, brats, and burgers this weekend... lol... the hell with Blizzards!
 
Day 11....

Diet was way better today but still some problems. Snacked a little but overall everything is where it needs to be. Calories are good protein can be a little higher and carbs can be lower.

Workout: well I decided to get back into Crossfit, I Love Crossfit and as much as I love bodybuilding so I was offered a month of free classes so I am taking it. I will however start two a days tomorrow. I will TRY to wake up before work and hit 40 min of body parts and then after work hit a Crossfit WOD. This should be very productive if I can stick to it.

Today's WOD was two fold:

7 min as many reps as possible:

80 yard weighted prowler sled
5 rep 32" box jumps

Did alot if sets and body was dying after this 7 minutes.

Second portion.

5 rounds for fastest time

15 ball slams @ 20lbs
10 clean and jerks @ 135
250 meter run

Completed this in 20:21 minutes

I was dead, drenched in sweat and body was aching. I love this workout style but I don't feel that adequate burn in my body parts. So I will start two a days tomorrow and try to do that everyday during the week. I will make sure I get my isolated body part lifts in.

Also, I weighed in at 222lbs this morning. But Im sure a couple bathroom uses and carb depleting can drop a lot of that.

Wilpit, my wife is 5 months and going to pop late September. She just put our 15 month old to bed. We have another boy on the way. I feel the same, interesting how training may change. Gratz to you and the other poster who is due in July. Btw, I wondered why I kept smelling syrup when I'm in the bathroom. Never experienced that before. Lol. N I know where it's coming from. Wife never mentioned it. I could not figure it out. Now I know. Great log and SubD.

Thanks for joining Hokie. Congrats on your addition soon to come. I'm a little scared about my training once my next child comes bc i the family has to come first. We shall see. Hope you enjoy walking around smelling like pancakes lol

This is a good point. I'm not sure what it is. Bc I have been switching up my routine daily almost. Diff rep range, tempos, weights, routines, so it is possible that it could w increased recovery due to titanium. I say this because I have been lifting diligently and heavy and have not been so sore the following days. I also have been working out with great energy. I did that Crossfit workout yesterday and I am slightly tight and sore today but no where near what I thought I would be. I will def keep my mind in tuned with that for the rest of this log..

Other things to note:

Sleep has been great. Hard for me to get up in the morning due to deep REM sleep.

Daily erections for no reason, often and long last if.

Dreams have been occurring very often as well but I can not seem to remember them.

Also seeing increased acne on my arms lately..

That's not necessarily true. I don't ever get sore. I bench upwards three times a week and dead/squat same day at times. Soreness is not a measure of effective workouts. Believe what you feel. I'm not a personal trainer or all knowing. I do know what I do daily and how hard I train. I can tell you by my results, I don't get sore. In fact I'm running a 20 day chest specialization program while beta testing the new Titanium and login here on AM.

Well, where I live ,and with a lot of people I know, that jus doesn't happen to often. So I agree that as a father you did your duties and did what was required of you , but It also deserves recognition bc to many people these days just don't care and are selfish. Thanks for contributing to our society and hopefully raising positive and active members in the world we live in.

Need to start my two a days bc I want to isolate.

Ahhh, I would have to ask someone to record a workout one day bc I don't have the space for a video on my iPhone. Although Crossfit videos are all over the Internet and even the "Crossfit games" airs in espn. People are into like a fad but it really is a great workout. Pushes your body to it's limits. I love it but miss my isolated work.

Although I'm not a fan of Crossfit I can certainly understand its attributes to athleticism. Most everyone I've ever seen doing it is pretty jacked so its definitely beneficial. So you had 12 minutes to do as many rounds? And you did more than the WOD too! Cardio out the wazoo!
 
Yeah, I used to hate Crossfit until one day a coworker talked me into one workout. I did it and it pushed my body to the limits and I was hooked but like I said it's glorified cardio to me bc I love a bodybuilding style better. But I like pushing my body in a types of way so I may keep up With the Crossfit bc I am trying to cut this summer.

And yeah 12 minutes sounds like nothing but it's horrible lol. It's all about how hard you push yourself though and I always push to my full extent.

Lol. Hoping to start my two a days tomorrow and then Def all gym this weekend. Will be doing Crossfit today for my workout though.
 
Day 13....

Today I didn't have time for a regular gym session but i did have a great Crossfit session. We did a couple agonizing warm ups before our workout. Did some prowler sled work and box jumpsuit.

The below workout took me 21:38 minutes. This is 21 minutes of exhaustion and wanting to quit or just die lol. Shoulders abs and legs were wrecked. Hoping to wake up early and do a chest session. Lets see.

Filthy 50....21:38

50 Box jumps 24"
50 Jumping ring pull ups
50 24lb KB swings
50 Knees to elbow rings
50 45lb plate push press
50 Wall ball shots 20lb medicine ball
50 Burpees
50 Double under jump rope

All above was done one after the other. It was grueling by the end of the 50 Jump pull ups.

Sleep and energy on titanium is great. I say this because I worked crazy hours yesterday and went to bed at 230am, I woke up at 630 am for another 8 hour shift. I slept great for those 4 hours and not only that but I woke up feeling pretty decent. I didn't have energy but I was not dead. I finished my entire work day and had a brutal cross fit session all with only 4 hours or sleep. So that is a great positive for this product.

Another good diet day. Needed to fit in One more meal though.

I believe the Chlorophytum borivilianum is playing a big role in everyones improved sleep with the new Titanium. There is a study with chlorphytum and Velvet bean together, the overall conclusion showed it improved sleep by approximately 50% in most cases, I'm sure chlorphytum played a big role in this study, I know USP Labs didn't put the ingredient in powerful for nothing :)

What also seems to be sticking out to me in these logs, impoved libido, one study with this ingredient showed it was slightly less effective than viagra and sperm count increased significantly by Day 60. Mind you this is an animal study (which is the case for most of the supplements on the market today) but it's a good start of research for a very promising ingredient, I'm interested to see how both sleep and libido will turn out for everyone, so far looking it's good :D

We advise taking 1/1/1 because fenugreek seems to work better taken 2-3 times a day, but if you want to take it all before bed I can't stop ya :P, who knows how the sleeping effects would be, only one way to find out, I'm sure I will try it a couple times during my Titanium run to see if I notice a difference.

It's fine to take without food, we recommend taking it with food because it can help absorption, but you will be fine without.

Skill training was Deadlifts but I didn't go heavy. Only went up to 425 lbs for 5 reps, not really an intense Deadlift session at all.

WOD: workout of the day

Index:

Prowler sled: 200lbs on it. Push for 25 yards at high position and then push back another 25 yards at a low position.

Double unders: jump ropes but with every jump you are completing two cycles around your body before your feet touch the ground again.

Ab Mat: a little mat that goes underneath your lower back. You complete a full range of motion sit up. Arms completely extended behind you touching the floor, full range of Motion all the way forward until your hands touch your toes.

Now the workout:

50 double unders
50 ab mat
Prowler sled
40 double unders
40 ab mat
Prowler sled
30 double unders
30 ab mat
Prowler sled
20 double unders
20 ab mat
Prowler sled
10 double unders
10 ab mats
Prowler sled: last session I had a 215lb man jump on the sled to finish strong.....bad idea lol

This worked had me busted and took me 12:17 seconds to complete.

To ad some random work after the wod I did 20 Crossfit push ups, pretty much do a "superman" stretch at the bottom of every rep, 15 hand stand push ups, against wall, and 3 muscle ups.

Extremely happy I was able to get both workouts in today. It makes for a very well rounded workout day and I want to keep this up.

Diet was good again today and I am starting to see my body change. If I keep it up I will Def have some nice ending pics. I am shying away from doing pics every week which I usually do bc I did horrible the first 10 days.

Need to try to fit another meal in but hard with my schedule

Diet was off slightly, sleep was great , and had a Crossfit workout no time for gym.

Really no time to update bc my wife gave birth to my 2nd daughter. Will rest for the next two days then back to the gym.

Took another rest day to be with the fam. Diet was horrible but today is Monday and time to get back on track.

Did Crossfit today and then did some back lifts after that to isolate. Overall good cardio and back workout. I was exhausted afterward for sure.

My sleep has been minimal due to the newborn but when I am sleeping I am knocked out cold while on titanium. It's upsetting my wife bc she tries to wake me in the middle of the night and I am worthless lol. But I am waking up with good energy for the lack of sleep.

Now I have been doing crossfit lately which is working many aspects of my body but I am not pushing heavy weight like I enjoy so that's why I am trying to so extra gym days here and there. But titanium has my energy and stamina high right now. I go through every workout with energy and always finished close to first.

Strength is good too bc those one arm t bar rows were not light. Diet was horrible this weekend but I kind of cleaned it up today. Had two carb meals and several protein meals . I didn't track numbers I will tomorrow though. You can't blame me I have been focusing on my fam for the most part. Tomorrow I should be in full force.
