Starting to get back into the swing of things since my cheat day. Feeling good. Had a great chest and ab day today. I also did 55 min of cardio.

My post lately haven't been as detailed due to time constraints. But I felt like they may have been a little to detailed and long so I haven't had the urge to make the time. I feel like Nobody wants to read several paragraphs but instead just the basics. Either way my workouts are still Intense and I will try and post pics and weight when I feel like a change has been made.

Note: if and when I solely log/review a product I will make sure to be very detailed. But for the purposes of this personal log I am not sure if all the details are needed.
 
Ok, been keeping up with my diet somewhat but want to keep my protein intake at around 300. QToday was a short day for me so that means less meals. I need to stop munching on bad carbs throughout the day as well. But overall it's good.

I did get an aggressive back day in and 30 min cardio. I didn't do cardio before my workout so I didn't get a great sweat. My 30 min cardio after my lift was less then moderate. I'm ok with that though bc I almost didnt go to the gym today.

I spent a good bit of time today cooking tons of meat and veggies in advance for the next couple days as well as some sugar free jello.

Macros for the day
1,420 calories
38g fat
90g carb
205g protein

Might stay up taking care of some late night work around the house. So I should have enough time to chug a shake before bed making my protein closer to 250g.

Sucks you have to diet on so little calories... Don't do it for too long man... or you might not recover to well when it's time to start eating to gain.

Thanks man. it's actually been disturbing me. I have been thinking about boosting my carbs and calories up but eating all my carbs early in the day before my gym sessions and keep lifting hard. Or possibly just boosting my calories up eating more protein and good fat and slow down on the cardio. I don't mind losing weight slowly bc it's harder to gain muscle. I'll tweak some things around eventually.
 
Yea man I've been cutting for a good part of a year and I must tell you... it's hard to gain muscle...

That's a long time to cut. Yea I'm gonna have to tweak some things. Cutting isn't fun.
 
Longer day today so I was able to get more protein in. I'm feeling good and doing better all the way around. Still taking the OEP 1/1 throughout the day. I can see that I am making progress but it comes and goes depending on my diet and activity level.

Had a shoulder,trap, and ab day. Started with 30 min cardio then went right into my workout. I went light again bc my shoulder is still acting up. But I did high volume. I hit high rep shrugs as well. A circuit with dumbbells, barbell, and machine. Did about 25 min weighted abs as well. Finished with 22 min of cardio.

52g fat
30g carb

Update: Ok before I went to bed I had some more muffins. Like 3 muffins. It felt good though. So I can prob ad 150 carbs to my daily totals lol, not good.
 
Well, I got my 300g of protein in but toward the end of the night I ended up getting suckered into drinking and eventually eating tons of carbs, I did hit the gym earlier for 55 min cardio age a good bicep/triceps workout. Hopefully get a leg workout in tomorrow but I'm tipsy and have to be at work in 4 hours. Oh it's gonna be a long night/day.

Sucks. That's y I don't go out anymore. Really over it n not worth it. In the end, I'll feel so much better for having the self control and healthy feeling. Not waking up hangover n dragging a$$ all day. U cant do this so often. It's too easy to regress and undo days of hardwork ..Your body doesn't want to be lean or muscular naturally.. Homeostasis!

I hear you on that. My body is dying today. I'll try and get some cardio in later but I'm feeling dead. Last night wasn't worth it.
 
Finally a good diet day. I been busy lately and getting hardly any sleep. I'm feeling better and getting back into the swing of things. Today was a leg day along with abs. started with 50 min cardio. I never do this on leg day but I was watching sports center and the time just flew. I had a great leg day. Worked out until I felt like I needed to throw up and then continued to workout. Was a lighter leg day but concentrated on feeling the tension and burn.

By the way. I was chose to log the nimbus nutrition "Poseidon nighttime". So look out for that log. I'll try and make that detailed and I'm hoping for a good edge with this product. I know at the least it is going to give me a huge boost of energy and motivation just bc I am so excited to see how it works.

Granted I didn't get much sleep this week and my warm up set ended up being 225 for 20 straight. But I feel like my energy is low while in the gym. The OEP i haven't been able to take directly before the gym but even when I take it in the morning I don't get that jittery feeling. But it could be just my diet, losing body fat, low carbs. No big deal I'll get back at it. I can also see small changes in my definition and vascularity while in the gym. Hope my motivation keeps up.

I would say it's a possibilty it might be all the cardio pre-workout too. I save all cardio for after my heavy lifts.
 
Considering your pics I don't see this being very difficult for you. You have a hell of a jump start. Good for you! Keep it up

Yeah I'm sure that is definitely a factor. I just like the way the cardio makes me feel during my lifting session, high heart rate, sweat, and I feel like it keeps my momentum and energy up. I guess I'll sacrifice strength for now. It's not much of a strength change. If it gets bad ill stop the pre cardio.

I hear ya. Maybe throw some BCAA's and methyl-B12 in with that preworkout cardio and see if makes a difference.

I'll try that. I usually do BCAA but I'll look into the methyl-B12
 
1800 cals, damn dude, that is crazy low for someone your size. How is your strength doing? I figured you'd at least be aruond 2500 but beasting cardio

My strength is good. It could be better with higher carbs and calories. I'm still deaf lifting over 500, squatting around the same, bench is still over 315. I have seen a little bit of a decrease in strength bc
It's harder to lift this weight lately but I'm still getting it up. Over all the Loss in strength isn't that bad. I'll get them back up eventually but right now the cutting is more important.
 
Been doing good in the gym. Diet is off and on. Sometimes it is strict and some days it is a little rough. But I'm making progress so I don't mind. I am weighing in a round 203 on average. I get to around 199 when I just wake up. Here are some new pics.

I had a long weekend in which I cheated on my diet tremendously. I'm back on track so ill be ok. I went to the gym today and and killed legs. Leg day is always one of Those workout days where I want to throw up. I did a total of 50 min cardio as well. 30 min before left and 20 after. My diet was good all day but after dinner I had a couple home made muffins again which kind of
Messed it up. But overall macros were not bad even with the muffins.

I am actually not even taking creatine now and when I do it is just monohydrate, it's something I can look into. I'll prob start up my usage in a couple weeks. In your opinion does it make a difference between the two, mono and hcl.

If you wanted to avoid bloat you could look into the patch Ageforce makes too

When it comes to creatine I've always kept it basic but maybe it's time to step my game up. I'll look into all those options and see what fits my budget and goals. Thanks for the input.
