Wife Has COVID-19

The vaxxed can and do spread it all the time.
that is well documented, don't think anyone would or could argue with that...but once a unvaxxed person has covid they have natural immunity and don't/can't spread the virus unless the very rare instance of re-infection, correct?

but what happens when a fully vaxxed person gets infected which seems to happen often, do they then develop anti-bodies to prevent them from being a spreader or can they still spread the virus even though they have had the virus?

I would wager it depends on which came first, the vax or the infection. Infection first is probably superior, because you attain a normal immune response; vaxxing changes the immune response to later infection.

There are 0 documented cases of naturally immune who are reinfected actually infecting others. 0.

yes, my question was concerning being vaxxed 1st then becoming infected...i too think this person would not build natural anti-bodies to prevent them from spreading the virus even after infection...my point is once vaxxed you can continue to be a spreader even after being infected, because the vax prevents natural immunity from building.

honestly i didn't have any love for biden to start with, but i really resent the hell out of him and his cronies for blaming unvaxxed like my wife and I for the continued spread of virus.

Hey guys. Just back from the pulmonologist. Lungs were clear on the x-ray and doctor said they sounded great! Blood pressure was 140/89 which ain't great, but there's a couple things that could be. Just glad to know I'm really healing from covid.

so which one of the vaccines you gonna get after you are fully healed?

I never said I was getting it, just reconsidering.

just make sure to wait before getting a covid vaccine. isn't it 2 months you're supposed to wait after having covid?

edit: after searching a bit, they say 90 days for monoclonal antibodies. otherwise I find mixed info. CDC just says quarantine correctly

I won't do it anytime soon. I recall there's a safe distance to do it but i don't know what it is either. And again, only reconsidering.

that's great man. Amazing how you went from feeling pretty shitty to perky in just a couple days with IVM

Well, to be completely fair, the quercetin was causing a ton of side effects I didn't realize until it was too late. But yeah, ivermectin really took recovery up a notch. Even then though, God is to be given the credit.

That study is money. ^
i've saw doctor malone's work on RFK jrs website, i think there is a interview with the 2 of them together floating around...i listened to RFK jr on coast to coast while back talking about his book THE REAL FAUCI--he is not a fan, but he has a speech impediment that unfortunately makes him hard to understand.

here is name of his website..childrens health defense

wonder if it will end up in the beef ?
this is actually a good question...if cattle gets infected will cooking 'disinfect' it?

ok, found this...usda says you won't get covid from eating meat, even if animal was infected with covid--very grateful for this, my family are avid hunters.

Just ordered his book. Back ordered so gonna take a little extra time. New York Times is trying to suppress it from topping there list. No surprise there.

90 days is what I always hear floating around the hospital..

I guess I didn’t realize you were seeing a pulmonologist. You don’t mess around!

I love the pulmonologists I work for/with. Great people!

lol...i've got it on back order too!!!

try his website...childrens health defense i found a lot of good info there.

with a name like kennedy and as much as the left hate him they must really be afraid of what he has to say.

i never thought i would see the day the lefties would hate on a kennedy--even teddy was a sacred cow even after killing mary jo kopechne while drunk driving and trying to cover it up.

So I did my half-day extra shift yesterday…7AM-1PM. Those bastards assigned me to the ED, but I only had two COVID admissions amongst other patients…so that was good.

One was a 42 year old male with no prior medical history except for being moderately overweight. I had to start him right off with high-flow oxygen at 60%, and within 2 hrs I had to go to 70% just to obtain an SpO2 of 90%. He was rather stoic and didn’t really say anything as I was explaining what I was doing.

The other woman was 73 years old and was definitely quite obese. She ended up requiring 90% oxygen via BIPAP or 95% via high-flow nasal cannula. She would have definitely been a candidate for a ventilator but she is a DNR/DNI. When I took her off the mask to give her a break from the BIPAP, she actually asked me why she felt short of breath 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. I ended up simply telling her “I’m afraid that’s what a COVID infection does to a lot of people.”

She was very emotionless as well when the pulmonologist on today came in and was honest with her about her chances of surviving this. I truly think there are people out there like these two that don’t get vaccinated because they aren’t necessarily trying to avoid death regardless.

No sir! I also have pulmonary sarcoidosis stage 1 that was found by accident through CT scan of my chest, followed by biopsy. Never had any symptoms and still don't, but that's the reason for the pulmonologist.

Depression and suicide are through the roof the past 18 months. There is a term called "floating anxiety" that is starting to fit more and more. Folks who are generally extremely anxious (as we know, that ties well with depression) without an ability to put their finger on why. I do believe social media was already a culprit for much of this, and the general speed in which life flows these days, but for many people COVID has been the catalyst to throw them into the pit of despair of which they do not know how to get out of.

Take this as you will but in my small circle I have only seen it in those who opted to get vaccinated.
I come from a rural community though, and while I won't say that everyone who agrees with me politically (or medically) is going to test out at an IQ of 150+, they have generally speaking, been much happier than those who are politically the opposite of myself.

Notable exceptions would be folks who have lost their jobs recently due to mandates. But again, those strong minded/willed individuals all picked themselves up by their bootstraps and either got new jobs or actually moved to Texas, Idaho, Wyoming, or Arizona. I've seen a LOT of people leaving WA lately. (my wife and I are shopping as well. my brother and parents already bought in AZ in the past 12 months.)

I would join you in a heartbeat. FL and TX are on my short list, but I think AZ will win because the flight is so short to get back to PNW. we are avid boaters though so FL and TX would be ideal with all that coastline....

I lived in Arizona for a while. the summers in Phoenix area are kinda unbearable. weather in Prescott is nice and maybe the town has grown a bit more, but it was a little boring there

i've heard Austin, houston and dallas are just as commie liberal as california.

georgia federal judge latest to halt biden federal contractor vaccine mandate

another lie biden has told--when he pushed these 'MANDATES' thru he told us [the American public] he was sure they would hold up constitutionally--his advisors would have had to of told him they wouldn't pass muster....just like when lyin biden said if you get the vaccine you WON'T get covid.

here is what the georgia federal judge said in his ruling--the court acknowledges the tragic toll covid has wrought throughout the nation and globe--HOWEVER, even in times of crisis this court must preserve the rule of law and ensure that all branches of government act within the bounds of their constitutionally granted authorities.

youngkin not trying we fight the mandates. guess va is a rino state
he said he won't impose mandates, but won't fight local city/county policies. mcauliffe would have made vaccines/masks mandatory state wide.

i am anti-mandate and youngkin is a huge step forward versus the alternative-mcauliffe.

Gov. Mills activates National Guard as hospitals struggle with surge of COVID-19 patients

Maine is also requesting federal help from the Biden administration. If approved, the federal government will send "surge response" teams of doctors, nurses and certified nursing assistants to help staff at Maine Med and at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Hopefully these actions will help improve things at my hospital which is neither of the two above. It will probably just result in freeing up more space for us to be rationed even more COVID patients. Can’t wait! ;)

I worked my balls off today in the ICU….bad! At the end of the day though, I was able to successfully liberate 3 unvaccinated COVID patients (all men) from mechanical ventilation. We have never had a day that successful in terms of COVID patients. One man 51, and another 62 are doing VERY well. They both have healthy medical histories and are not obese.

The other was the Down syndrome patient who is just over 30 years old that I had mentioned before. He’s not doing as well as we hoped and is requiring ~ 70% oxygen (not high-flow). I wasn’t available for his extubation, as I can only be so many places at once. A fellow RT of mine took over for that, and said he was so freaked out by the entire ordeal…understandably so. Once he calms down, we may discover that he is doing much better than that and he was started on some low dose sedation to take the edge off….so we shall see.

It must have been our lack of compassion, bullying, and incomplete knowledge that saved them from an otherwise certain death. Go figure!

it's a shame gov mills has to ask biden for federal help---trump was on it from the beginning.

You were and are right. Yet another failure by the Biden administration. I have my doubts that they will end up sending the requested help, because that actually makes sense and would help patients as well as healthcare workers. They love to see people struggle. It’s their bread and butter!

if it comes out that biden let patients die because he didn't want to send in national guard to help deal with covid only because he didn't want to be seen as following trumps lead, then he is as much a criminal as cuomo when he sent infected patients to nursing homes.

Agreed on Prescott. Sedona and Flagstaff are nice but very expensive. We are currently shopping Fountain Hills. My brother moved permanently to Surprise and my folks bought a place in FH. We like that it's 20 minutes outside of the city and quiet, but still quite close to Scottsdale and Phx. As far as we the weather goes, we've had non stop rain and 30-45f temps since the rain started in Sept, so the heat doesn't bother me at all, lol.

I've spent a lot of time in Austin, I always called it the cleaner, warmer Portland, so yeah I agree. I'd be shopping Corpus Christi to be on the water. Since we live on the water now outside of Seattle. (if we didn't do FL or AZ). Our ideal setup long term would be a home in the heat (probably AZ) during the winter, then live on the boat up here in Puget Sound during the summer. (the only time of year I want to be in Puget Sound)

You're fuckin right. Whatever happened to our naval hospitals and pop up hospitals? Gov Inslee in WA sent our pop up army hospital back without ever serving a single patient and now wants to complain about overwhelmed hospitals but does nothing.

Joe Rogan talked a bit about the short term memory loss sorta (paraphrasing) in a recent podcast and how people who hated Trump and would never take his vax last year, are forcing it on you this year and forget how much more Trump had done to prop up and support society during the first year of the pandemic.

I can't believe we are now in a place where we can say "the first year"

Did you see the twitter account that follows her insider trading, and the account following the maxwell trial both got banned this week when the new CEO came on board?
if only democrats got the same scrutiny from media that trump got/and still gets-eh?

Pervy Joe Biden, shitting in his pants,

Imagine being liberal, brain-dead in a trance,
Just like Joe Biden, always shitting in his pants...

like i said if eventually whistleblowers come forward to say that biden was advised to reinstate military hospitals and use military healthcare workers, but refused on the basis of not wanting to follow what trump did then he should be impeached and then tried for reckless endangerment, for lives lost due to shortage of healthcare workers.
remember biden was advised to leave troops in place until all Americans were evacuated from afghanistan-he went against his military advisers to pull troops BEFORE evacuating American citizens, i wonder if he did the same in the case of using military to assist in healthcare and refused to follow what his advisers were telling him...biden has mental illness and should be in a assisted living home, not in oval office.

Best economy in 50 years, to worst in history. Whoever supports Biden is a C0mmi3-Traitor pussy and should off themselves...

it isn't the supporters of biden we should be pissed at-it is those that are really running the show in the shadows. people like george soros who's huge contributions got many big city DAs elected and are now refusing to prosecute criminals...biden is just a figurehead that is being manipulated and quite possibly blackmailed, but i believe he still has moments of clarity when he knows right from wrong and should be held accountable...

but please refrain from the hostility, we can make our points without reducing ourselves to the level of the other side.

I actually don't 100% disagree with @Power-Lift. to be honest, looking at the state of things in our country and world, violence is coming whether we want it or not.

when violence comes to me I will be ready...trust me!!!

but talking about violence does not accomplish anything productive, imo.

Everyone productive and conservative should leave the big liberal cities. They will continue rot in their own polices and “social justice.”

Also, to summarize your post, the weak minded and easily duped are the ones most impacted mentally/physically from covid

Nancy pelocy seems like she's suffering from mental decline too

There was never much room for decline there. It is a short fall.
