Everything; all the drama rests squarely on the shoulders of one person. The fact that he helped build this board is what kept him in good grace for this long. He ran off about as many members as he brought in. Many a night, me and weave will run after a member on their way out the door and ask them not to leave over one incident. But it gets embarrassing when you have to apologize to visiting mods who are flamed for no reason.

Alot of people seem to miss this point!!! ALL of this drama was brought on by YJ, period. No one else wanted this in any way, shape, or form. Can you not see that the whole basis of this all is becuase of him? The "soap opera" was started by YJ long ago, we are just trying to turn the TV down. ;)

I'm sorry for all the mods here and I do mean that, I know how hard it is when you find out a friend has deceived you. And people will say "it's just the internet" so fucking what? Just because I can't see someone, doesn't mean I don't care for them, or they can't be my friend. I'm tired of people using the excuse "it's just the internet" for improper behavior and ethics. That excuse is reserved for people who have poor ethics and probably don't know how to conduct themselves in real life. One's personality does not magically change over the net... the real person will come through in some of the posts. After seeing some of YJ's posts... I knew what kind of person he was... but few believed me.
Peace

Again, so true. Saying "it's just the internet" is a complete copout. The Internet is a tool, it's what you make of it! If one establishes relationships, even in their most basic form, one has most of the same expectations they would in the "real" world. YJ has shown us how he chose to respond here, through incredibly heartless attacks of people he once befriended.

<DIV>My thoughts exactly and to add to that for all of you who say "I lie to, after all, its just the internet" only goes to show that integrity and ethics are truly being whittled away in this nation. Every great civilization has imploded from moral depravity and eventually been completely destroyed as a result.&nbsp; Many would say that we are past the point of no return on the slippery slope of "it's not that bad".

If you've used that excuse already, whether written in this thread&nbsp;or in your head while reading it, consider that science has proven that the reason why we want to let&nbsp;people "off the hook" so quickly, the reason we are no longer outraged at the OJ's and Bill Clintons of the world, is that we want to feel better about our own inconsistencies so the minute we see someone "worse" than us we decide to excuse their behavior in order to feel better about our own issues of guilt ethical depravity.

Nobody is perfect, we all know that, but no one makes you lie, cheat or steal. There is a big difference in an occasional&nbsp;lapse of judgment where you choose the something wrong over what is right&nbsp;Vs. the pathological, deceptive, conscious choice person who says, I am going to BE a liar, BE a thief, BE a cheat, and makes that&nbsp;your day to day activity.

Just a kickass post :)
